hi i have a problem.
Today when i was trying to get to store i got force close and after that i cant find google play apk (in titanium backup and android apps settings too). I tried to install apk from net (first google play.apk than android matket.apk) but still i have the same problem.
I tried to clear all app data but nothing helped.
Now i cant get to store without using browser.
Can someone help me?

We are having this issues with 3 X Sony Ericsson Xperia plays that we use for are site 1 rooted and 2 stock. All have internet and we can use browser etc etc. but when we open Google Play Store/Shop app (No Connection - error) have tried every method , uninstalling, re-installing. delete data/cache. This seams like its an issue that also covers other devices too not just Sony's as far as i cant tell from my findings. any one have any ideas
Thanks for yout post. I was thinking that is only my problem.
But why older stores wont work is the questions cause they worked recently?

Just noticed I'm getting a server error when trying to access the store
I'm also having this problem on my LG P970, and a friend had this too on his phone. For him it helped to unistall all updates for the play store, didn't work for me but you might want to try that out
Found out the issue from google them selfs. Simple fix use 3g as this only effects wifi. after you have connected to the store 1 time on 3g it will sort your wifi issues.
I found the solution too. I deleted all updates and than i use Vending.apk from system/app to install and now it works
jusatin: For me FC is on WiFi and 3g
EDIT: There is still the same problem after reboot
I found modded version of store and it works (maybe cause of mod or other version of apk). It's here:
rootzwiki.com/topic/15092-invertedtotally-inverted-apps-3-16-play-store-updated/ - look for Vending.apk

I keep getting that error on ICX Beta 3 yet my PlayStation Pocket app and Crash Bandicoot still work perfectly.
Any way to get PlayStation Pocket working? I'm sure its not the ROM as PS Pocket is unaffected

any screenshot of that error? have you tried basic troubleshooting like uninstalling and reinstalling and clearing cache and stuff like that and rebooting phone afterwards? have you tried restoring a workable copy from your backup?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but haven't tried clearing the cache yet. I'll try it and see what happens

I am also having a similar error but it is 8008104D. Basically, my xperia play is telling the ps store server that it isn't an xperia play. I have been tinkering with the system a bit and I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how the server detects my phone as an xperia play? Is it something in the framework or is it something in the build.prop? Any info would be appreciated.
You could try using something like build.prop editor to see if that is the problem. You'll need root permissions.
I have build.prop editor but what do I edit? When I try to connect to the ps store, what is the file that the ps store server looking for that tells it that my phone is a ps certified device or is an xperia play?
Hi,
I have just updated my Xperia Arc to 4.1.B.0.587.
Now it is on BB77.
After update, I am unable to download or update any app from the play store.
It is giving an 403 error.
However, I can open webpages (after two - three tries).
Also, wifi tethering is also not working.
I have tried resetting the phone but it is of no use.
So, is it a problem related to the BB or google play store?
How do I solve it? Shall I downgrade?
Kindly help me.
Never mind, repaired phone using Sony PC companion, its working fine now.
No more OTA update for Arc.
Thanks for reading.

Try to repair your phone using SE pc suite.
It solved the issue for me.
try this
You can try this IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD/UPDATE FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE
go to settings>applications>manage applications>all applications>GOOGLE SERVICES FRAMEWORK
CLEAR DATA
ALSO do the same in THE google play store (clear data+force stop)
IT MAY SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM

I recently bought galaxy grand. Phone is absolutly awesome. But facing one issue unable to install stick cricket game
When I try to install an apk gettong X Application not installed msg. When I try to download frm playstore getting error during application installed 24
Before grand I used galaxy ace. In that mobile I installed stick cricket then installed patcher to crack it.
I founf an article in xda states that the problem due to same application with diff signature found in device. Once rooted delete the app entry frm data/data will solve the issue.
I dont want to take risk to do rooting and by losing my warranty.
I tried few things firsy did factory reset twice. Then clear cache in play store and downloads But i still unable to solve the issue.
Pls help me to solve the issue...

You should only worry about the problem of "same application with different signature" if you have installed the game or patcher before the game itself and it's reading it in your memory already. But either way, there is absolutely no reason for root in this case.
Try these,
Have you tried re-downloading apk from a different source?
Check your internal memory in Storage, 4.2.2 had a bug of showing too much memory full - wiping gallery cache and data and reboot fixes this
Check if the game is compatible with i9082 according to play store
If none of them work, link the app (not an apk, just the play store link will do) here and I'll see if I can install it
Am trying to install whatsapp in my phone but it saying x app can not be installed yet it was there before what can I do
Plz help
Or just shut down, remove and reinsert your battery. Make sure to uninstall any apps you don't use to free up space, also uninstall previous versions of the same app currently installed on your device. Double check the apk files you download and be sure they were completely copied or downloaded android app not installed
