I got the Choi wireless charger after reading a lot of positive reviews on it, but I'd go for a different brand. I've found that it tends to heat the phone up significantly if I leave it on the charging pad overnight, and it's got a small 'target' for correct phone placement compared to this other one I bought:
http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E9MUNWU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
(Note: that's the U.S. Amazon site.)
This one's got a bigger 'target' area, I haven't noticed much excessive heat (maybe only once that I can recall) but I've only got it at my office vs. using it overnight at home. Overall, it works great for me and I like it better than the Choi, for what it's worth.
I got a LG WCP-300 and a Docooler QI mat....ill post up the pics later but both work just fine...
IMO, I have the Nokia DT100 and the Official Google Nexus Charger and sadly for a quick fast charge.. I like the Nokia one. There is a light status for charging and it's just easier, set it down, it works. Google one gotta line up with the magnets.. BUT your choice on what you pick
I have 2 of your first link. Neither heat my phone up significantly and I have my phone in a case with daydream running. Placement is also not an issue. If you center it and place it the notification sound goes off and it's charging. Great price and it works very well.

Wireless dock for Oneplus One

I'm thinking about a new Oneplus One, but if I'm really going that way, I need a wireless dock as well.
Any suggestions?
I don't think OPO has wireless charging
Nah it doesn't have wireless charging
Sent from my OnePlusOne
You could always just add it...
There are add-ons to make your phone wireless charger compatible but imo is too ugly!!

[Q] AT&T Note 4 support qi charging?

Hey all,
For those who got their Note 4 early from AT&T did they pull a fast one like the LG G3 and rip out qi charging pins in favor for powermat?
Thanks!
My understanding of qi with the note4 was that it only was available with the optional case, and it's not built into the phone.
Wasn't built into the s5 either.

Can someone with an att note 4 pop in a qi receiver and see if it charge up? I have a bad feeling they went pma just like the g3.
It's Qi charger. I don't have the adapter yet, but others have pointed out that the contact points on the back match the Qi specifications. I just got my Note 4, and opened the back, and indeed the contacts are identical to my wife's S4
Just because it has the Wireless charging contact pickups, doesn't necessarily mean it will work with Qi. The LG g3 had the same contact pickups, but at&t disabled Qi charging at the hardware level, and made those contacts only work with pma charging receivers.
let say wireless charging works, will it still take advantage of the fast charging feature though?coz I don't think so

NO, wireless charging is a Lot Slower charging than with your USB cable and AC adapter for Fast Charge.
It supports Qi. I bought the official samsung back. I use it with a Qi charger I bought off amazon. Works great but due to bulk, limits my cases.
Wireless charging can be done if you buy a wireless charging battery cover and these have them built in also. A cheaper route is just buying these little wireless recievers and stick them in, you can get them cheaper on ebay (but my work computer can't access Ebay sites).
Wireless charging IS slower than normal charging, its all about convenience. I have a few around the the house and a couple at work. Most output .5 - 1 amp range compared to 2+ amp chargers and the included adaptive fast chargers.
The links are for example only, not telling anyone to buy anything. Hope this helps.

Which Wireless Charger?

Hi, my friend has a wireless charging capable phone. I was wondering which wireless chargers are good. I have just stumbled upon this kickstarter campain: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/649000063/xvida-smartphone-mounting-system-with-qi-wireless and it looks perfect for him (he wants to use it in a car and at home).
Does anybody have any experience with this company or can point me to similar products? Thanks!
I use the Samsung wireless charging pad which works perfectly well for my Note 5. It's specifications include charging at 2A rather than the 1 A at which most of the other wireless chargers work. Another good one, albeit more expensive, is the PowerSquare Tango which is capable of charging upto two smartphones at once.

Belkin 10wt wireless charger coming

Belkin BOOSTUP Wireless Charging Pad 10W for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is coming in time. It will ACTUALLY charge at 10watts wirelessly like the Google wireless pad, but it will NOT do the extra tricks that the Google wireless pad does.
60$ USD
So $20 cheaper than google's charger. But you don't get the standing charger. And like Bukem75 said you wont get the Wireless tricks that do pixel charger does. But i'm sure that's not a problem with people here at XDA someone might come out with a modded apk or something to fix that.
Why not just buy the Pixel Stand?

I pretty much avoid anything by belkin, so i'll pass on that. I also can't get myself to buy the Pixel Stand on principal, basically forcing their own proprietary wireless charging spec instead of just using the one everyone else uses. I would totally be interested if their proprietary standard was there just for their enhanced features, but I have fast wireless chargers everywhere (including my car) that are now limited to slow charging because they wanted to force the sale of their accessories.
Hoping someone researches the fast wireless charging issue to see if it's just a software limitation on the Qi fast wireless charging.

Correction, everyone else is using proprietary technology for fast wireless charging. The Qi standard is used by all brands up to 5w. After that, Samsung built it's own tech to reach 10w and apple did something else to reach 7.5w. All the chargers on the market these days have been forced to support 3 different charging specs because of this.
Now, Google COULD use the Qi spec for charging faster than 5w, but for whatever reason, it chose not to and is now adding a 4th wireless charging tech to the market that nobody asked for.
This reminds me of the wired fast charging cluster f**k between QC, FC, SC, PD, VOOC, and DASH. There's clearly one tech that is superior to the others, and yet, here we are, 3 years later, still trying to figure out which charging brick can work with what phone.
I prefer the slower wireless chargers to extend battery life. Use the plugin brick when traveling. Replacing the battery in this thing is not a simple task.
