New XDA app

Is slowwwwww......anyone else having problems?

I haven't noticed any. I do notice the website is extremely slow to load on my computer especially during peak times. Maybe it is the servers being overloaded more than the app. Maybe it is both.

I purchased the app the other day and it is a little slow now. Its something I can live with, I'm sure they will fix it soon.

for sure, but it seems like it comes in wave. A lot of the time, it's just the way it is before. But every once in a while, like right now, I feel like I'm trying to load it up on 1xrtt coverage lol. And yet I'm on wifi lol

Nope. No noticeable change here...

Been having issues also. slow or wont load at all. guess Im not the only one.

I can't even download the new version for "thanks" :/ I have the blue transparent app and every time I try to update to the normal one through market it says package unsigned or something. But idc I love the blue one

Ya. It seemed a little slower today.

The loading into the app takes forever, but after that it's smooth.

Multi-view

So I'm sure most of you at least once saw review of Galaxy Note II and the feature they call Multi-view is basically doing two things at once. By now it's certain that this feature will come to S3. Do you think our scrawny Dual-core will get it? Well if not I'm sure someone will port it to Custom ROM but, will it handle it?

In terms of our processor handling it, I have no idea why you think it wouldn't. Lol. This processor is beast. Now I doubt any phone could support two games at once. Really don't see a point. But yes I believe our device will see it in the future. I know I'm working on porting it and I believe someone else is as well.

Sorry if this is common knowledge....how is it confirmed officially that we will get multi-view? Or you are referring to unofficial roms by our great devs?

I know you said probably no phone could play two games at once (I know its pointless of course) but people being people, I'm sure thats the first thing a lot of people would do lol. Would they just FC? Really excited to see this released (probably just by devs...I bet Samsung wants to keep this feature for the Galaxy S4)

I left the SGS4G from T-Mobile and later returned to it on the basis of his development. Team AC!D and Bhundven were about the only thing between keeping that device on a development respirator and the entire lot of them being dumpstered.
Pretty much the only mainline Galaxy device that didn't get CM9 until Q2 2012. What a disaster the firmware was on that thing.
He's #3 on the list of overdue donations I keep.

hey guys and gals im a developer with the dirty unicorns rom team and im working on getting our rom on your device now i dont have the device and thats why im here i have it booting and everything else seems to be working but the data has been unstable ive been working on this for a minute and once its done it will be made available to the community i have a new build that hasnt been tested yet right now let me know your interested and ill get you the link thanks kt

I tested the build and its freaking awesome but why was paranoid colors removed ?? Its truly different Lil but absolutely no data no connection ubkbnowb baseband and Per I tied doing a few things i no like switching some telephony files and libgui but I failed

Poll for new ROM build

Alright I am new to building ROMs. But willing to learn. Looks like a lot of spleef ROMs were picked up. So everyone put in there bids. I'll build whatever ROM ya want as long as it is not being actively built in this forum.
Just post name of ROM. People after a ROM has been posted just put that ROMs name in your post with a +1. I'll tally up and after a couple days and start building.

a working MIUI would be nice, but AOSP has to work properly first.

Quick question, why WOULDN'T AOSP work properly for us? I mean, being a member of XDA for quite sometime now and also familiarizing myself with various Android devices, I've come to notice that some OEM devices can run pure/true AOSP ROMs, but some others on different carriers cannot? I had an Samsung Epic 4G a few months ago before getting this phone, and asked the same question over there, but all I got was a vague answer at best. But other phones that's based on the same hardware but on different carriers can run true AOSP ROMs, like the Samsung Captivate on the AT&T network, versus the Epic 4G on Sprint. Anyone know why this is?

All I know is I was trying Rasbean for a long time and could never get it to work. I could get it to build fine but never boot.

Spleef is helping me out. Once i get kids settled tonight im gonna start working on it and hopefully let my laptop hammer out something by in the morning. No promises but juts check back tom morning and ill eiher have a link or a post on what messed up. Rasbean here we go.
