Hi,
I flashed the JB AOKP Custom ROM on my Xperia Acro S. I love it but I noticed a problem. It didn't come with the google play store app so I got an APK somewhere else. Now Whenever I try to download any application from the market, it says my device is not compatible.
Any ideas guys? Any help will be appreciated..
Thanks.
Try to download gapps.zip ( for JB rom) from xda ( search a little bit), flash zip with cwm and you'll have PlayStore that should work.
Did you change dpi? If your answer is YES then, change it back to original.
I dont't know why, but sometimes that's the answer.

Hi, thanks for reading...
I have two problems that I think are related to the stock launcher:
One of the desks of the launcher shows a black shadow instead of a green shadow whenever I try to put a widget or icon in that place. I can't put anything there and it's a full row.
The Music Player Widget cannot be added because the launcher says "Widget already added" over and over.
I already have tried clering the data from the launcher; even tried factory reset but didn't work.
Note: I'm using a brand new Xperia Play with 2.3.3 and .145 stock ROM, not rooted. Everything is like new, but I have these issues.
Any help would be aprecciated. Thanks in advance...
Thats an odd problem never heard of it before... Why don't you try this... Get the Xperia s launcher from themes and apps section and install that...it will ask u to replace system app just say ok...it might work give it a try
Edit: here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515644

are u sure that you bought the right version from google market ?
that problem happened when i trying to install a hacked version of games, o think you should check your versopn
Dead trigger is a free game... so it can't be that
Maybe its because the version of rom is 2.3.7 and not 2.3.4, no idea..

Had that problem before... Just clear data on market app and clear data on google service framework.apk and it should work... Worked for me
Or you can open market from your computer and click on "Install", the game will start Installing on your phone.
Hi. Xperia NXT Light Edition comes with "Xperia Keyboard" which is customizable to a T9 keyboard with swype options and other settings ( one of the best keyboards in my opinion) . I've been able to install a downloaded and also a extracted version from this rom but only in ICS, and it has been to the moment impossible to me to install in GB. All post i have found in this forum correspond to this keyboard but only for ICS+, and i know its possible for it to be installed in GB since its the default keyboard in Xperia NXT Light Edition which is GB rom.
So my question is:
Can I install it in GB?
How?
Is there a customized apk or zip available for GB?
Thanks to the comunity in advance.
Current: Xperia Play (GB) AuroraPlay v2.0.0b (also tried it on other GB roms)

I get a error when attempting to flash. Perhaps I will unzip it and manually move and change the permissions on this, then reboot and see if it plays nice.
Edit, Got it working, had to redownload. Thank you raminta for the zip. Much appreciated.
Thank you very much. Its exactly what i was looking for and it worked perfectly :victory:

Been using this keyboard for a few days now. I like it except the backspace. You press it down for two seconds half a page is deleted.

Hi! I have the Xperia M C9105 version *with android Jelly Bean 4.3* UNROOTED (Im from Spain) before getting this phone i always wanted to have emoji input in the stock keyboard. Actually i'm using the Pure Android Emoji keyboard, but for using it on Snapchat, it's impossible. And seems that exist an apk of the Xperia keyboard updated w emoji. (I cant install from Play Store). I tried to install this apk: mediafire com/download/5t85fx4yll1tcza/textinput-tng-emoji.apk
from another XDA thread, but when im installing it says. Not installed, and something of a package conflict. I tried to sign w ZipSigner and still doesnt work. I just wondered if changing the package name (if its possible)[from com.example.textinput. [idk what is the keyboard package name] to another package name so it doesnt make conflict w the preinstalled xperia keyboard. *I dont want to delete the preinstalled kb, it would be fantastic to have the emoji one and the preinstalled, bc i dont want to root Xperias (seems to be very dificult))
Anyone can help to edit the apk or give me a solution?? Im so desesperated:crying::crying:

Someone can edit the apk or give me a no root solution?
Forget TowelRoot.Unlock bootloader using the guides, install a recovery (just choose one),flash SU zip and you're done.
Then flash an Xperia Keyboard zip from the Sony cross development subforum.
Not sent by me.

I know how to unlock bootloader from Sony, tell me how to flash a recovery on my phone, give me a SU zip and tell me how to flash it, and i think i will know how to flash the KB.
One question, without having root can i install a frexperia Rom?
