Elelinux-6.2.0-Hero-Speedmachine-v5-Reloaded (2011-10-04)

This is a CM6-based ROM with app2SD for the GSM Hero
Elelinux-6.2.0-Hero-Speedmachine-v5-Reloaded
Now cm 6.1 old and development of the cm source is moving forward all the time, so I have chosen to release a rom where I moved some from 2.3 to this rom + lots more candy from the cm source.
This has a lot of new features including CPU settings in cyanogenmod settings, two different lockscreens, etc.
The rom is a custom for my own taste, has also managed to get the dictionary to work but not moved over the graphic yet from Gingerbread, the dictionary is for the ftp and good Bandwidth available in the languages aosp offer.Over time, as things fall into place so there will be a stock GingerBread but not now in this situation.
Have chosen to put part of google apps in the rom,will add options for those who want rest and part of cyanogenmods apps.Market is version 1.8.2 simply because no one should have trouble with that part.What I took away is, live wallpaper, development, spareparts, rommmanagerprotips and provision and some googleapps like googlequicksearchbox and car.
Kernel is build on erasmux kernel source 12a,included compache but not to recommend,the default frequency is 352-576 MHz and smartass mode, but easy to change with the built-in CPU setting.Kernel support ext2-3-4

Installation
1: Wipe off all including ext partion if used
2: Flash rom
3: Reboot after first start reboot.
4: Reboot to recovery and flash the new ADWLauncher (if you want)

i wiped everything and flashed the Rom. Seems ok , but i have a weird problem. My Home and Call button does not work, had this one time before, so i thought it was a Rom problem. But now i have the Problem again i wanted to ask if it is a known problem!?

So this IceBread v0.7, android 2.3.7 Build and with EXT2 partitions. You will need to do partitions on your SD Card!
Ok, I'm working on it with this build lot of time merging lot of stuff, I learned a lot of tricks from another device and now it's here for you guys! And I think I found the Best build for blackstone!
I manage this build up to date with latest stuff all time.

USB - you need dualmountsd or maybe other app for this. Dualmount is better than stock so for me this is important.

If you dont use maps please delete before installing from system/app and delete maps.apk & maps.odex. You have more speed w/o Maps.
I need few good report from this build.
Installing​
Here is how you should use your SD (You can use Minitool partition wizard or EASEUS Partition master):
Remember you must do the partitions on this order!
A FAT32 partition with any name you like and with the rest of the space avaiable on the SD
A EXT2 partition named system with 250 MB
A EXT2 partition named data with 800 MB
Lastly, another EXT2 partition named cache with 100 MB
With versions before 0.6:
1- Put npkboot your sdcard root
2- put update-IceBread-v0.x-zip to your sdcard root
3- Run haret, press volume down when it asks you to do it ( once, not pushing! ) ( enter recovery ) /press vol:up,down,up /
4- Format : system,cache,data partition in mount & storage / Not formatting to SDcard /
5- Install this build ( you will see a message saying formatting to EXT3, no worries )
6- reboot and run haret again and wait(not pressing anything).
With version 0.6 or more:
0- Same steps as before (1,2,3,4,5 and 6)
7- reboot to recovery
8- flash latest gapps from cyanogenmod site, we need cm7 gapps ( google -> search -> latest gapps )
9- after updating, reboot and run haret again
10- setup everything, reboot
11- Have a nice day with IceBread!

After 1. boot you don't touch the screen ~ 5min! after sign in gmail, press menu preferences, restore launcherpro backup yes -> reboot yes -> reboot ( I added for you my launcherpro settings )
After 2. boot open all apps -> reboot
After 3. boot you have max performance!

Hi,
great job. Today I use a Desire S, but it will be cool to use my old Touch HD with Android.
I managed to install the NAND-Version 0.2.
The only bug I found so far is, the device doesn't shut down. The only way to reboot or shut down is the reset-button or remove the battery.
I want to change to 0.7, but how can I update from 0.2 NAND? I formated the SD-card as you said, but I cannot run "haret.exe" from Android (using TotalCommander for Android).
I tried to update via CWM, but then the device stuck during boot.
Any way to update from 0.2 NAND to this 0.7? Or maybe an NAND-Version of 0.7?

Maybe a dumb question, but how can I flash back zu wm after I installed Android?
The BlackstoneAdvancedRUU.exe doesn't connect to the device, even in TriColor-Mode.....
Can I use fastboot to flash the nbh?
Solution:
rename the nbh-file to BLACIMG.NBH and put in on the sd-card and then boot into TriColor to flash it.

I downloaded the 0.7 build and followed the instructions up to getting into Recovery. Once in, I can move up/down but I cannot select any of the items. I found that I have to use the call buttons for that but they are not working. Ideas?
[Edit] Somehow, after pushing and pressing the power button several times, it went from switching the recovery screen on/off to working as a button. Continuing with the installation...

Maybe you should add the "up-down-up"-part to the instructions.....

So, after playing around some while I can say: This ROM works realy good. It's fast an stable and I didn't find big flaws!
I didn't test the front-cam, but the back-cam works with pic and video.
Sometimes the wifi stops, but it starts again after a few seconds. Maybe I should update the radio?
I also managed to install a low-res version of Teeter, so the G-sensor is working well, too.
It would be great, if I can replace the wm completely and install 0.7 via NAND, but the SD-version is ok for now.

There are more bugs....
If I put files on the SD-card via USB, I cannot find them via TotalCommander or OI Filemanager. TotalCommander cannot remount the SD-Card (card is busy). And if I remove the card and plug it in again, the device will freeze as soon as I open another app.
The files are there when I restart the device.

Just install dualmount app and after its fine. Its better for sdbuild than native. If put out the sdcard than where running that Android?

Hi guys this rom is ported from htcmania.com from elitemovil thread......friends here is the ROM official JB for our Galaxy S, completely cover the GNEX, with incredible fluidity and speed. I repeat, it is the last that took out Sprint for the Galaxy Nexus, totally Stock, not customized. For the lovers of the Stock... and what are not lovers... (Remember that Galaxy Nexus does not have official rom / original customized).

the difference is in the detail here is JRO03U and there is JRO03L

finaly JRO03U is here ,,, downloading can't wait to flash
btw, is it stable & good battery life ??

Got huge problems with this one, WIFI not working for me (even with patch, no connection) and also no chance to get any modem working, very strange, tried it XXX times from scratch (JVU--Root....)
No problem with the stock 3U or with 12.1 or any other JB with Wifi or modems.

Cannot sync google calendar, yet i can sync contacts....

Finally, someone has started a separate topic for JRO03U.
It was just messed up yet.
One had about JRO03L and the others answered in relation to JRO03U.
Can I as a "New Member" open such topics?

i think it was'nt needed a new thread but its ok as op is not responding these days....looking forward to your samsungnized rom,,,,but i have some serious problem with twlauncher-After you open and close any app launcher becomes laggy for about 3-4 seconds refreshes app list then it becomes normal it does'nt look nice,this problem was not on ics based tw roms...

For all those who have applied wifi fix and its now working then do one thing ------ FIRST TURN ON BLUETOOTH ,THEN TURN ON WIFI AND REBOOT YOUR DEVICE ....NOW AFTER REBOOT AGAIN TURN ON WIFI ...........YOU FIND ITS WORKING............YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR EVERY BOOT OR KEEP BLUETOOTH ON BEFORE POWER OFF YOUR DEVICE.

The JRO03U is a 99% port of Nexus.
Without special setting options.
The JRO03L RC series is even a port but not stock.
There are a lot of options that do not exist in the JRO03U.
But the JRO03U is very stable.

I did not understand exactly what you mean, but GmsCore and Phonesky are updated to the last google version , and will be able to get update from google !

I'm on .18 with root and extended power menu, i have several questions..
1. Do i have to factory wipe to update to .20?
2. If I flash .20 downloaded from Asus site which means I need to push TWRP again right?

1. I don't thing you really need, but you should. It is allways better do do a fresh start (less bugs)

Factory-reset not required ! ( will be enough wipe cache and dalvik-cache ! )
In the future, I will remove the boot loader and recovery from Asus blob files , to not having to re-install TWRP/CWM recovery ! :good:

This worked well but there's something I want to ask.... if i wipe dalvik cache and cache ONCE, every time i reboot it will say "Android is upgrading" . Does anyone knows why? ( This happens all the time when i use stock or stock based roms, it doesn't happen if I use cyanogenmod.)

Installation :
you must have already installed Chinese Firmware B120 or B118 !
by installing B118 Chinese Firmware there is a risk that your device may become unusable !
root not require !
you must have already installed TWRP Recovery or CWM Recovery!
copy FLY-UI on your external sdcard !
put your device in recovery mod ;
Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> select : Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Cust & Data ! ( equivalent to "Clean Install" )
Swipe to Wipe ;
Install -> select : Storage : External Storage !
select FLY-UI
Swipe to Confirm Flash !
Wipe cache/dalvik !
Reboot System !
Enjoy ...

Dude why cm 10.2 its to buggy now cm 11 is almost bug free
It looks like miui built from cm sources
