Debranded Rom?

Hi i have just bought a Samsung Galaxxy S on the 3 network, i have rooted it and unlocked the network as i am O2
Could you p[lease tell me what stock rom i can use to debrand my phone to get rid of all the 3 network stuff and boot up screen?
My phone details are......
firmware version 2.2
baseband version I9000NEJP2
Kernel version 2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1
build number FROYO.NEJP5

sounds like a question to me which should be posted in q&a section. Do some reading while you are it, answers a lot of basic qns.

[Q] Please Help a Noob out

Hi,
I attempted to put a stock rom back on the phone and then re-root.
I found a link for the stock rom whick matched my Build number and using ODIN it successfully installed.
Main issue I had previous was that I could not load into the Android recovery screen which I now can do.
When the phone booted up I was very surprised to see a "Orange mobile" splash screen and also the addition of loads of Orange Apps? Which I've now disabled. Could be A French ROM?
How can I get a Stock rom without any Mobile operator Bloatware and get rid of that Splash screen?
I don't understand most of the details related to my model number but it appears they have changed slightly.
Here's the list;
Model no. GT-N7100
Android version 4.1.2
Baseband version N7100BVDMF2
Kernel version 3.031-107214 [email protected]#1
SMP PREEMPT Sat Jun1 12.22.20 KST 2013
Build number JZ054K.N7100XXDMF1
I have also downloaded the Samsung galaxy note2 toolkit but cannot find my model numbers as it's not shown within the ranges.
Build numbers available between DMA3 - DMC1. does that make a difference.

If you want an unbranded stock Rom for your region, go to sammobile.com and grab the latest firmware for the n7100, region code united kingdom btu. The btu bit denotes its unbranded and for the UK.

Thanks, I found it virtually straight away after creating my post last night.(as they say ,the informations out there, you just gotta know where to look!).I chose that one(French rom) on Sammobile as the build numbers where the same.! should of researched first

I've just installed the stock ROM and all went well.
One issue or may not be is that when i go to About Device-Software update-check for updates and press nothin happens? Isn't it suppose to say Your device is already upto date?
Is there any links for a stable and most up to date version of Twrp recovery?
So Now i will try re-rooting again. I think I am going to try Twrp recovery after looking at a few forums.
Also I have seen people tap the Android version button(in About device) and the Jelly Bean wallpaper comes up but in my about device its all greyed out?
Anyway thanks again for the Help it was Greatly appreciated.

probleme with baseband i747m

hi i have an I747M and all things works fine but my baseband is unkown and i have an issue withe play store when i try to download any apk its begain and it block in 90% or 85% of downloading i have no probleme with internet
version number : i9300ZSALG3
android version : 4.0.4
baseband version ;unknown

The version number you mentioned had i9300 in it which is international version of the s3. What model number is shown on the label beneath the battery?

[Q] Need to Know About Firmware

i have S4 mini duos baseband version I9192DDU1BML1 (ins) indian and its latest android version is 4.2.2.
similarly
another s4 mini duos whos baseband version is I9192DDUCNH1 (ins) indian and its latest version is 4.4.2.
and another indian varient firmware for this model whose baseband version is different from above two and different android version.
so my question is can i flash with other baseband version firmware of indian varient which has android version 4.4.2

3 day after posting but not single reply.....

I have recently bought Samsung Galaxy J Docomo. Upon spending countless hours on the internet searching for roots, I could only find the root for build id: LRX21V.SC02FOMUGOI4. Does there exist a root for Build ID: LRX21V.SC02FOMSGPL2 (which is on my phone)? If yes, can somebody point me in the correct direction?

Moreover, is it possible for me to flash the firmware with build id: LRX21V.SC02FOMUGOI4 on my phone? Will it brick it since my phone is carrier-branded?

You don't always need the exact firmware for root to succeed.
If you have the stock firmware to hand then just try it anyway.
