does the other thred will be closed and this will be th offical one from now on?
Does your CM10.1 version include a version of Dman's kernel or a version of your lite kernel?
And another thing.. since I noticed that this will be a newer build once you post a download link, could we have some sort of a list with the issues fixed? Or this is the Dec24 build again, just compiled again by you?

Next= this is pure cm10.1, will and should only include CM's upstream commits and device specific fixes. No added features unless cm adds them.. Sorry for the thread jack..

BT?
What is the problem with BT?
Does it not working at all or just forgot the settings as on other ROMs?

my bad, i didn't mean that.
I mean: what are the next fixes you're going to focus on? Just to know and to understand if the change of dev has changed the planning (if there's any).
i will focus on the three issues listed ... bluetooth is my main concern right now .... links are up !!! enjoy

Cool!
Let me tak advantage of your patience one more time only: litekernel is included, you said. I don't need to flash it separately before flashing the Rom, right? Flashing the ROM will be enough, as well as if i want to come back to stock rom i have to flash a GB-related kernel.
I can even suggest to add a little guide to installation (from GB and ICS) section in the OP, i think it would be useful for us the annoying noobs. lol.

WiFi tethering hangs when enabled + disables WiFi all together until reboot.
USB tethering on the other hand works great.
CM is also missing the theme engine causing settings to crash upon selection of "Themes".

Can this be flashed over dmans old version without wiping data?

The installation instructions are a little confusing....what's the " Copy the > Modem & Kernel selector < zip in you sdcard and flash siyah kernel first! (also a modem version if you want...)" about? I don't think I have ever seen this before.
Nice to see new rooms will try in the future
yupp
nice!!!!!
So here's my experience so far. Downloaded and flashed the regular format all 2x and then flash ROM got it to boot but there was no data and I couldn't connect to WiFi. So then I booted back into cwm and followed the instructions in the op And didn't see where I could get the kernel zip from so I went to the original thread found it there and pro ceded with the instructions only to boot into a version of cwm that didn't let me see my external zip. Wasn't sure if it was a safe version of cwm to flash from but had to take the chance since I'm gonna need my phone today n I'm not home. Luckily was able to flash back to paranoid android and still confused on how to do this op help us out
Glad to finally see Aroma on this phone. Always thought it was pretty cool. Thanks!

The only things that I will add to this rom is certain cherry picks, but I may consider adding to second post some of the mods so you can flash them after rom...
What I'm after doing is just supplying the basic rom so you guys can add what you want to it because not everyones taste is the same and you will all want different things.
Just go to ap030993's PACman thread like he's just mentioned and try the mods from there

Its kali's fix version. So unless the gapps now have it in (not sure cus i always flash 4.2) it has more options and works better than the normal 4.1

Hi,
I succesfully build AOKP today. t is my weekend project, so I am off for the weekend now. Been testing, and everything that works in Androidarmv6 CM-10.1 works on AOKP.
I.m.o. camera, camcorder and panorama are working even better then in CM-10.1
For hardware (Qcom part) I used the CM/Androidarmv6 parts. It is well done, in words of support, so why not use it.
For frameworks, I decided to port all our fixes for YouTube, camera, EGL over to AOKP sources. Taking androidarmv6 might have been an easier choice. But in my mind, AOKP is much closer to AOSP, therefore more lightweight and if succesfull porting is possible, why not?
The first releases are only for Gio and Cooper. The overlay for it is tested and good (feedback please! ).
Currently compiles are being done for mini, fit and galaxy5. As I took ldpi overlay from TheWhisps aokp jellybean, I am not sure yet compile will succeed.
Downloads in second post!
Here you will find the AOKP manifest and here you will find my mods.
Again, Fit, Mini and Galaxy release are NOT sure yet!
What is working? What not?
Like I said, everything what is working in Androidarmv6 here works on AOKP. You tell me please!!
Special thanks and credits to all androidarmv6 members!

darn it you beat me to it lol, i just got jellybeer compiled for the 2nd time. i have wifi working as i reverted a few experimental patches that rukin had committed. if you want to use the modified device files until rukin figures out the wifi and bluetooth patches here they are: https://github.com/touchpro/android_device_htc_primoc
how bout we collaborate? im curious to know what you used for the conf file in /vendor/cm/prebuilt. i copied cm_mako.conf and used that for primoc.
edit: heres mine after a repo sync to jellybeer 4.30 with wifi working: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8s2fjhto5wbdmnx/JellyBeer-v4.30-06JUN2013-115941-primoc.zip
edit2: also, apparently adb debugging is a little wonky, user robaho (think thats how its spelled off the top of my head) figured out that if you update adb drivers on your computer then it will work as 4.2 apparently wants to verify rsa keys in order for adb to work.

Sweet. Yeah I built this morning as an experiment. I don't remember off the top of my head what I did for the cm_primoc.conf but I could tell you when I get home in a bit. And thanks I'll apply those patches when I get the time. We'll keep in touch.

i have definitely thought about it. with awidawad deving cdma, shouldnt be too hard as lloir and maxwen have made a good device tree to use. lemme see what i can do, i might have something for you guys to test here soon. just remember, i dont have a primou, and whatever bugs are in cm10 for primou will be present in jellybeer primou.
cool m waiting and i think there is no bug in cm10 or you can use 1ce rom as base rom
Updated -- Build 2 BETA
Rebuilt with whoshotjr2006's advice, and wifi is now working! Also, JellyBeer has been updated to v4.30. As for common HOV bugs, I've found none so far. 5mp camera works (displays 4.5mp), HD video recording works, doesn't reboot randomly, and Gallery2 doesn't crash randomly.
Please read changlog below.
Code:
- Second build
- Updated to JellyBean v4.30
- Should be OTA Baseband compatible now
- Wifi fixed thanks whoshotjr2006
- Now titling this a beta because wifi is fixed
Enjoy!
Has anyone flashed this yet? How is it compared to the newest version of rhythmic ROM?

I'm going to test now since WiFi is working.

I think it runs great. But I'm a little biased lol. Performance is on par with rukins cm10.1 based roms.
Also make sure to play around with hybrid settings and reboot after changing density to get the full effect.

Runs really well. Everything is smooth and just as fast as the latest RhythmicRom. I'd test it yourself and if you like it. Some settings are repetitive like the CRT Animation but i'm going to keep messing with it. There are a hell of a lot more options to tweak.
Liking this one a lot. I've ran jellybeer on my TF201 but didn't like it. This is much better

Wiped everything, flashed ROM,flashed gapps, flashed kernel from the rom in fastboot, and reboot.. LOVE THIS ROM!!!!! but one problem... The video doesn't want to record at all. I press the button and its not doing anything. Is it just me??? If so what kernel y'all flashed? Because in the instructions it says find a good kernel
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Should be a pmem build so any pmem kernel should work, just attach the modules in system/lib/modules.

Yep video recording is a no go. I used the kernel that's inside the zip

The instructions call for a SAFE kernel. These instructions were forked from a non-htc phone that had the recovery.img inside the kernel, a "safe" kernel. I'll edit the OP later.

awesome ROM thank you, so far stable no issues. everything works well. love the options to customize the battery date and what not. keep up the good work. even built in overclocking at 1.5 running stable and smooth. battery life good.
