Usually I would never ask for anything like this but I figured maybe someone could pick it up for me and whoever else may want it. I wll try to post a picture of exactly what I'm talking about later, but its the new sense lockscreen that has weather or calendar blah blah and let's you go straight into whichever apps you choose. Hell idk if its possible but I figured id try. Would anyone else like to see it?

Ill translate the dbags comment. Many people have asked to port over sense or some part of sense to our phones. To the best of my knowledge we don't have what it takes to port anything over from sense. Whether its the source for whatever or the knowledge to port such a thing over. So that's the main reason as far as I know. If you want a better answer, try and do a search for other realted topics on porting over sense to our phones and see what I said is true but I'm pretty sure I'm close lol

The miui style lockscreen was ported by maddoggin on gb builds I believe.
With sense, all we can do it try to make something that looks close. I don't think we will ever see actual htc sense on the epic.

No, you can't. HTC has an apk kinda like the twframework where system dependencies are loaded from and it is completely incompatible with sammy.

Hmmm, I know WDM was working with a group at one point that was going to try to port it. I'm not saying that it's impossible to do, just very difficult. It's not like the tw launcher which you can run on any device just by installing the apk. More like the dialeractivitytab.apk which has dependencies from the twframework. I guess the whole point is that it's not just getting an apk to run on our device. If it were that easy, it would be done already.
Can you throw up a link to the Huawei Ideos with sense?
I know there's the 2.5 sense using Launcher Pro, all themed and stuff, inculding lock screen, check it out.

I've seen it, but all it is, is a sense looking skin using it's own coding to access the info.

^ actually, it looks like he stole it as well...
The only difference between the two I've noticed is that certain options that don't work for our devices have been removed in the one from the link I posted, as well as the wallpaper doesn't scroll in the one I posted (which I prefer, and removing options I can't use makes it feel cleaner).
Edit: I mean comparing the link posted above this post and the link I posted.
The one in the OP is definitely from the link I posted.

I'll be honest. I like the very clean transparent look of everything, the transitions throughout the launcher are very nice, and it ran smoother than anything else has on 4.0.4, even Nova, Apex, or Trebuchet. Still went back to Apex as I just like the options in it the most.

I never understood why people post whore for thanks clicks. Help people for the sake of helping them, not for a fruitless rating system.
For what it's worth, in my opinion the OP should be given an infraction for posting this app without doing any sort of research as to the original developer to give proper credit, and then asking for thanks clicks for doing nothing.

I like that he added badges for missed calls, texts, and emails on the dock and obviously how smooth and clean looking it is/the transitions are.
The things I don't like are the size of the dock and dock icons (makes my screen area look smalllll) and I can't live without my double tap to expand notifications. Other features I'd like to see is scrollable dock, ICS style folders, and custom icon support.

I've flashed a jellybean ROM, would I be able to DL this and run it on the JB rom?
I am very impressed with this launcher. Much smoother than trebuchet, even the status bar is more responsive.

This is very similar to my Guru'd Nightly, minus the ringtone package and other wiz-bang goodies. I don't have the time to do a full write up at the moment, but I wanted to get this posted while its still fresh. This is Nightly 20120808 based.
This package has everything you need, to get everything you need! No need to flash a gapps package, in fact it would be silly to do so. Just like my Guru'd Nightly, everythings theme'd and optimized. You've got the Market app to get your apps, Solid Explorer for Root file access, and much more.

This is a must have feature for me. Took me a few days of googling and failures to finally get it right. Unlike the other long press to skip mods in some of the ROMs here, this mod works flawlessly with every music player I've tested it on.
So I'm just gonna post the android.policy.jar and if someone wants to make a flashable zip I'll add it to the OP.
This will work on any UVDLJA 4.1.1 tmo based ROM and does have the reboot options also.
Use root explorer and put it in system/framework overwriting the original, then set permissions the same as the other files. Reboot. Enjoy.

I followed the instruction but got a boot loop afterward but luckily I did a nandroid right before doing it. I placed the file in framework and changed the permission and reboot. What am I doing wrong? Currently rocking wicked v5

Well. I tested it on stock T-Mobile 4.1.1. I suppose there's a chance it might not work on a crazy modded custom ROM. Assuming wicked is based on our 4.1.1 build.
And yes, make sure you do a nandroid before doing anything like this to your phone.

Completly crashed darthstalker v8. Had to nandroid restore. I really want this mod bad lol. I also tried in wicked latest and it crashed that too. Ahhh.
It worked without issue for me on wicked jb v6. Did you set the permissions for the file? Fyi it will get rid of the ink feature though.

Is it possible that you can make a stock odex rom with a few features like hotspot and so on with this music skip mod that i need bad lol. Ill use that rom over any here. And hypothetically if you do make a rom and do end up removing bloat and you make a flashable zip for the bloat you remove? Another mans bloat is another mans necessity. Lol

Honestly smali and XML hacking aren't really my thing. I just really need long press volume to skip when I run stock over AOKP and none of the ROMs that have it worked with spotify. So I spent several hours a day for I won't tell you how long trying to figure it out.

Mijjah and Chubbz ROM is a great and VERY stable ROM
They have a zip in their updater that if you flash, the ROM will be themed like the S4
...and to add on, MSG's ROM has a lot of the S4 apks included as well. Last I was on it I was playing with S-Translate :silly:

+1 it is a sick ROM, and the updater s insane!! Same with Goodness Reborn.
