Hi, I just flashed Ice Cold Jelly on HOX and I can't seem to take screen shots, is it only me?
Thanks, Jake

You can, just hold power and volume down.
Never mind!

Thanks, that works now, I needed to reflash because I installed the wrong version of GApps (noobs :silly and then it worked. Weird that it didn't work before though.

I'm running a HDH but to unlock my phone I have to press the power button, and with this new case it is awkward. Is there and mods that I can change this, maybe use vol buttons as well?
BTW I'm running LeeDroid 3.o.1

Anyone else having an intermittent issue with the device not waking up via the power button? This happens from time to time. Holding the power button will still reset the device. Plugging in a USB connection will wake. However hitting the power button yields no result. The device still responds to incoming notifications. Sometimes I can wait a few seconds and it will work properly. It's rather odd.

Ok so I made the jump to zv9 and after realizing my mistake I want to downgrade with LGNPST and root. Long story short, I've used every button combination on this phone and can't get into download mode. I know it's supposed to be vol(up + down) + power but it's not doing anything other than booting up. Am I doing something wrong? Did I hold it too long? Not long enough? Do i sacrifice a goat to the gods of LG? Someone please help...

I was holding it down on purpose because I wanted to see the download mode.

Maybe your little bump isn't working. Try holding both up and down while plugging into your comp

That worked, but I'm new to doing anything with the lgog so I was just following exactly as I read it.
Glad it worked. I understand why you would want to be careful

For some reason I'm unable to take a screen shot with both the palm gesture and the T-Mobile recommended way (power + home)
I'm on stock, non rooted, using Nova Launcher. I was having the same issue before using Nova as well.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

So it seems it was a user error on my part. I wasn't holding the buttons down long enough.
Thanks for the help.

You can buy new volume buttons from Ebay.
And you can google it howto put them in.
Goodluck!

How exactly does it go in and which way round? One end has a short black flap and the other end has a slightly longer black flap. Inserting it either way round just makes it seem inserted at one end but it sticks out slightly at the other.
A free fix could be installing this app here and setting it as a widget. And for booting in and out of recovery just use advance boot options of your Rom if its available
