Should i use CWM or TWRP 2.1 for my rooting..! whats better
should you use your right hand or your left hand ? it doesnt matter ...
Just don't use CWM if you have the 4g one x/one xl
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Theyre both virtually the same just with different interface

TWRP is better as it has more fetures like file manager, theme support, battery status, time and some I can't remember

Well that depends on what you prefer or need.
Since you own an evita one x, use twrp.

So you flashed a kernel using this tool? What did you flash exactly and what ROM are you on?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Installing kernels can be very dangerous. I hope you manage to fix it. This isn't my area of expertise so I can't help much, sorry.

After I switched to CM10 I have noticed that my mobile network connection always gets switched of automatically, it's quite annoying to go to the settings and check it every time I need to use it. Is there some kind of automatical task killer installed in CM10, cause when phone comes back from a sleep mode some of the apps are switched of. Any ideas? Thanx.

Another problem guys))) I have installed the newest nightly but I believe the kernel, which was included in the rom file, is not compatible with my HOX, cause the phone keeps rebooting. Which kernel is the best for CM10 Nightly?
Brand new one v, trying to listen to music it doesn't play in stereo, it plays like in mono. For example when two guitars play at the same time you can only hear one. Is there a reason or fix for this? I'm not rooted or anything.

Just factory reset, still nothing...

Its probably beats audio. Beats is gimmicky crapware, if you move to a cyanogenmod based ROM the music will probably sound better. I know on stock a few of my songs just buzz but in cm they play fine.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
There any other way to fix it rather than a Rom? I did just unlock and root.
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
You might be able to remove the binaries after a backup with clockworkmod, but since this is my first phone with beats and I just used cm to get rid of it I couldn't tell you how to do it. I'm sure there is a guide on Google, or one of the chefs like jmz could possibly tell you how. Sorry I can't be of more help, hopefully someone else sees this and can be.

Its a kernel problem flash KISS Kernel if you are rooted

well this is a simple kernel bug on stock kernels. Without using custom kernel there is no way to fix it
ask jmz or simon. think their cdma kernels include that fix. At least I told them how to fix

Will this work on the HTC evo lte 4g stock? Not rooted
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Well.. it can be added..
You will have to use a rooted explorer like ES File Explorer
Copy the apk to /system/app/
And after that run Widget Scanner from recovery (search one x forum for it)
Afterwards the widget is in the list.. but as it comes from a device with a higher resolution it doesn't fit on our screen, and is just to big..
Also.. it doesnt work exactly as the one form the runnymede or rhyme..
It's just shortcuts, click them and they open apps..
Nothing more! so no music control, or camera photos or whatever.
See the screenshot attached..
I think it need to be resize..
