[Q] SE Live With Walkman UI GIO, videocam not working

Hi,
I am verry happy with SE Live With Walkman UI rom for my samsung gio
BUT i can use the camera but can not record video.
Can anyone confirm this?
Screen goes white and file is unable to play.
Because i am new i can not post in develop thread.

Change the video resolution to QVGA.

Bravia Engine doesnt work?

Am i wrong or with ICS Bravia Engine doesnt work anymore? (if im not wrong xperia S have the same problem)

bravia engine still works. How does it not work for you? BE only enhances pictures on your screen, though i'm not sure how it applies for screenshots viewed on another device =/

BE works in ICS exactly like in GB.I've had some doubts,but I've played a video without BE,and then with BE,and the difference can be easily observed.So,BE works,but only when you watch pictures/movies on the phone screen.

Maybe is an issue with XS,on my Neo I don't have any issues with BE.

Screenshots
First screenshot is made with Bravia Engine off,and second screenshot is made with Bravia Engine on. Do you see the difference? You're using a custom rom?

Bravia only works in Sony Gallery app.

cant remember if there is a Gallery.apk already inside the Arc, or you mean the Xperia Gallery.
So on the SemcAlbum the BE doesnt work?

Bravia engine 2 port for stock ics rom galaxy s2

Hi friend this is bravia engine 2 port from xperia V, which I modded for galaxy s2 , It worked fine for me for stock ICS 4.0.3. Instal
it in stock ICS 4.0.3 or 4.0.4. There is no bravia engine option like u see in xperia device for turn on and off, But after installing this mod,
u see difference. It works only for pics and videos ie in gallery.
Before installing this mod pls backup first.

I don't think the word placebo can be used in situation such as this.

To be the honest I dont see any big diffrents between bravia 1 and bravia 2 :/

I see you are missing an important part of the mod.
You need this added in build.prop
#Bravia engine

thats for xperia device which just change the word written in toggle from bravia to bravia 2. As other non-xperian device donot have bravia
written in setting, we don't need that line in build.prop,

Bravia is

persist service.swiqi2.enable=1​Without the build.prop lines the system doesn't know its there. Essentially its off.
The experia has a checkbox in the system settings which change the values.

What? Who cares. X-Reality Engine is the way to go.

If you are on LB then Bravia 2 is great ('cause it's working)
But on UB BE/BE2/3 or XR won't work...
Even I must admit I think I saw a differences when I flashed XR MOD - but it was kinda weird and slow in album...

Bravia Engine will not work in unlocked bootloader.. Atleast from my knowledge.. But some times its working in video. But not in photos...

The benefits are pretty obvious, aren't they? Fixed full hd video recording? Risks: nothing if u r clever enough to make a backup before flashing it.

Well, It was always a problem for these devices.
And for your problem, it would be better to judge if you post a sample video.

Works on MIUI V5 (FXP234-based), but ROOT Permissions completely destroyed.
