Hi,
In case it helps, I have an up-to-date Galaxy Note 2 ROM list kept here, which includes the AT&T model.
Someone was asking for a list in the AT&T section, so I thought I'd post this info in each section to tell people.
It's kind of a hobby, but it's kept up-to-date pretty much every day.
Some of you might find it useful.
Good looking site. Hopefully you can keep it updated. Thanks!
Sweet, all it needs is kernels and what would be really kewl is ratings on which rom/kernel is most popular.... just a thought since I always see people asking whats best etc....

Cheers. The Desire HD list has been updated pretty much daily for almost 2 years, so the Galaxy Note 2 one is pretty much the same deal.
Yes that was me asking a few weeks ago so thank you for the time you put towards this! this will be such a great tool moving forward.
Thanks again!!

Hi,
It came to my attention that I'd forgotten to add a few roms from the `Original Android Development' sections for the different carriers.
Sorry about that. Those roms have now been added.
Was just going to ask about that. I only came across your thread today. Thumbs up and many thanks.:good:

Ok I just got my new t-mobile galaxy s2 on they're sale yesterday. I haven't hadan Android phone in like a year.so I have some general questions.
What are some of the more popular roms for this phone?
Are there any issues I should be aware of when rooting and installing cwm and a ROM?
Are there any general problems I should be aware of with this phone overall?
Thank you very much for the help.
Juggernaut and Macnut are great roms, I prefer stock though. You should give those a try.. As far as issues, the only thing is the vertical lines and blobs on the display when you turn the brightness all the way down. You can see it on most Grey backgrounds in a low light environment.

there is a ton of info in the index and its a good place to start. If you have a specific question search for it. chances are someone has asked it before.
My favorite rom is digital warfare. but check them all out and happy flashing!

I initially was going to post this in the Q&A section but opted not to for I didn't want to catch flack. This actually is about my questions and answers I got to them.I want to salute STeROL and John Corleone.they both helped me with my issues and guided me to learning something new instead of the normal read threads.threads are great but actual conversation while dealing with a learning issue goes a long way...we'll thank you for your help.
Don't know the other guy, personally, but JC is never anything but knowledgeable and seriously helpful.
Not surprised about Sterol though. This section of XDA has some of the best members I have found yet. No. Joke.

As a budding enthusiast of the android echo-system, I would like to put out a big THANK YOU to all who made XDA possible.
I have been rooting, modding and flashing android devices for the better part of 2 years now, much of which would not have been possible without the DEV's and all the other users of this site. :good:
So from everyone who has been stuck and just couldn't remember the relevant fastboot commands, bricked their device and people who just have no idea in general, THANK YOU. :good:

I gotta follow up with this guy (not only to get a few post counts to get out of the noob zone)
but also to truly thank you devs for working really hard. I understand that some of you guys work for little to nothing, and produce awesome roms for everyone to enjoy. Keep up the good work! :highfive:
I seriously don't know if it would've been possible for me to learn what I have and root my phone if xda didn't exist. The people here are truly helpful and now I'm encouraged to learn even more and hopefully, soon enough, begin flashing.

I've noticed that many people do scold newbies. It's a shame too because we all had to learn at one point in time and theres so much info in here it can be very overwhelming.

n00bs get scolded for breaking the rules.
As simple as that. n00bs tend not to search, read or post in correct places.
Its not that older members don't like newer members, it has come to be that a LOT of the newer people don't explicitly read the rules. If people took the time to read before posting, search before posting, post where they should, even just use google, XDA wouldn't be as cluttered as it is. But its no hard feelings, its just tough love to get people on the right path

Good to Go, OP glad you find the development impressive....another way is to just punch the thanks button to the Developer in the ROM thread you find to your liking not required or wanted, but those that put in so much effort don't ask, but will accept it.
As I stated just punching the Thanks button on the Developers thread is best....and that is totally free.

New Members should never be scolded as you say, if they have read and found the Forum Rules to their understanding. As Forum Rule #1 gets over looked so much....
And yes it can be overwhelming but a little homework and effort from Members will get them results and that is part of the learning, but so many just want to post and have it given to them....vice actually learning. IMHO
YEAH this makes me happy, our very own sprint g2 forums. No more digging through needless other devices for ours.... THANK YOU MOD's

yea its really a relief, i actually feel a lot more comfortable asking questions, since i don't have to specify exact details anymore.
its nice, but since they did this, tapa talk has had issues for me opening our forums.

Thank God they finally did this. Should have arranged the forums like this from the get go. Is nice not having to muddle thru every other variant in existence. Granted I think that the merit of everything being togerher may have added to discussion, but it was messy discussion at best so Im happy. Maybe now search will work better as well. Finally!
Yeah I like the new layout. Makes it easier I think.
