I have that, wow just reminded me actually...
Im gonna start using it now...
Just tried it, rebooted
and my Signal bar went "No Service"
so i put back my old battery and then i got my service back...
The back looks bulky aswell...
dont get it, i suggest getting a portabloe power bank or one of those offcial 2200MHz battery from Samsung, Its bigger and still slim

I have one of those 2200mAh batteries, and it works great. There's a new back cover for it that's straight instead of how the original curves inwards at the "foot" of the phone.
So yeah, it doesn't look as awkward as those 3000mAh battery covers.

Hi.
I want to buy one 3500mah battery for my samsung galaxy s2 i9100 because the original battery 1650mah that this mobile has don't last more than 1 and a half day.
So can anyone tell me where i can find case(wallet/flim style) that can put it with that battery pack?
A lot of thanks.

I used the search button, but couldn't find this battery anywhere...
I found this battery when I was searching on ebay. It costs €8-13($6-9) ex. shipping. Haven't bought this battery yet, but was wondering if anybody had or has already had experience with it?

I have no experience with that exact battery, but most of these generic batteries from china have much lower capacity than the stock batteries. There is no way those are 2000mah, they are too small.
Get an Aker battery
I bought this, I don't know how to measure the actual capacity, but it feels good. Is better than the original.

I personally just have 2 stock batteries. I bought the second one cheap on amazon/ebay. Can't remember. I might try one of these soon though, because the stock batteries don't do so well for me.

It says "Designed for SAMSUNG", the capital A in Samsung has a crossbar (which the real Samsung logo doesn't use), and it has the web address for Chichitec. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not an OEM battery.
I just got the gold battery from eBay. 2430MAH along with the battery charger for charging the battery externally. It was about $8.50 and comes within a week. Just search i9000 gold battery. I'm pretty sure I've got it calibrated. With light use I get up to 13 hours so far and up to 10 hours approximately with heavier use. Amazing buy so far

[GSM] True Stock battery Replacement?

I have the incredibly annoying issue where my phone will tell me its charging, when its really not.
Apparently the only fix to this is a new battery.
But try and find the original battery and its just impossible. Does anyone know of where I can get the official GSM Samsung Battery?
Thanks.

samsung, expansys and many online stores.
i have one couple weeks old i bought the extended one i have the back cover too let me know
shimshop the ebay seller, that sells the genuine samsung extended batteries, has both the regular battery and the regular battery door, but it is just not listed, you can send them a message from your ebay account saying you want the regular oem battery not the extended one, usually they respond very quickly and are accomodating.

Finally received mines yesterday from parts4repair. Their battery is NOT nfc capable even though it says it on the exterior.
Disclaimer: I did not test it out on a POS terminal, I tested it with my CharlieCard (Boston's subway card). The original battery was able to detect the card, the parts4repair battery didn't.

I took a sharpie across the nfc label to distinguish it from the original battery. I guess 10 bucks for an nfc battery was too good to be true. I'll still carry it around for when I need extra juice.

What Battery To Buy?

I'm looking for a new battery for my HTC Desire but not sure which one to get.
Could someone please post some suggestions?
Got £5 in my paypal so that's my limit really don't really want an expensive battery.

£5?!
that's barely enough to cover the shipping costs ^^ add 5 to 10 more and then we can talk.
Yeah, used oem battery will probably perform better than new £5 pos.

You have a link there to nexus one thread and the process is the same, even eaiser with AOSP rom cause every kernel is calibration friendly. Only difference is that you have to use stock battery calibrator app (for N1) not the one from the thread. I tried to do itbseveral times with sense rom and didn't manage to do it. At the end I flashed cm7 and did it. Just read the thread carefully and follow the steps exactly as posted, it's very important.

if you really want a new battery, i'd say get an htc original one..My experiences with cheap replacement batteries weren't all that great..
i recently bought a new battery made by hama. stumbled across it when i was looking for a new headset. it performs really good so far even though it only has a capacity of 1270 mAh (still lasts for a good 5 hours of non-stop usage). it was rather cheap, cost me 13,99€ if i remember correctly.

I bought two of these batteries form this vendor and though one of them was not assembled correctly and wouldn't fit he accepted a photograph of the battery not fitting the phone in order to replace it for me without having to send it back in the mail first. And at $5.25 it wasn't worth the shipping cost to mail it back. And I have found that with cheaper sources there can be some defects especially with the first order (for some reason) but the sellers are normally very reasonable when it comes to replacements.
I see that this is an older thread so you may have gotten a new battery by now but just in case you haven't and for anyone else that may be looking I posted this. And the link is for a 2450MAH battery too and I have to say that for a normal sized battery it does last quite a long time (other extended life batteries I have gotten for other models often come with a new battery cover to compensate for the added width)

Yes I have tested it myself. And am going to do a calibration too and will let you know what it reports if you want. I have charged and discharged the battery 4-5 times since I got it and the battery seems to last quite some time. I can't tell you what it's stock battery was like because I bought the phone with a broken screen and no battery. I actually got 3 wildfire s phones at the same time.

I have some results from my testing of the battery to share. I normally find the apps that calibrate batteries to be confusing as to what it interprets results to so I gauge it instead on what I have seen with other devices and while performing tasks. If you notice something not listed that eats batteries and want to know if it was on or not let me know and I can tell you.
Battery at 100%
Simcard not inserted to the phone.
It's a Bell phone and I use Telus (if anyone knows a reliable s-off method while using hboot 1.08.0099 or downgrade to hboot 1.01.0001 so I can use revolutionary to remove the simlock as I can't get gfree to power cycle it would be much appreciated)
ROM
Slim Sandwich
Components list
WiFi (set to always on and notify of open networks 25secs scan rate)
Bluetooth off
GPS on
Google location services on
Note: erm... I got distracted and can't remember what it was that I was going to add as a note. If I remember I will add it. ADHD is a *****. Anywho, moving on.
After approx 1.5hrs of playing music (using large headphones not earbuds and on max volume) the battery was at 71% when I got home. When I use my EVO 3D using same settings except with a simcard inserted and using an extended life battery (one of the thicker ones that needs a separate battery cover) my battery is around 65% or so and 40% using a stock battery (albeit the stock battery is original and approx 2yrs old now).
I can test and report further if you want me to and while using a setup that you would like me to use just post the settings and any links to apps and or specific ROM you want me to use. And if you want you can pm me and again if don't hear back from me within 5days or so. I may have missed the email or been lazy and need a nudge.
If this helped let me know and click thanks and if not let me know what I can do to improve on it. Thanks

hmm by the way does any one knows if the official S4 battery fits on the S3 (and vice-versa)?!?!
I have at least one guys from another forum that is claiming that...
I know that the battery from S4 chinese dual sim leak, that is also 2600mAh, was almost identical to the S3 battery in terms of dimensions but after analyzing the pictures it came to conclusion that they were different... and cause of that I let it go this matter...
can somebody tell me s4 battery's dimensions
Genuine battery? FAKE! No NFC
Hi all.
I too got sucked in buying a "genuine" i9300 battery from ebay.
The battery looked legit - proper packaging and it cannot be picked from the original battery but it was not til months later that i found NFC would not work.
Works fine with original unit. Turns out the NFC module/coil is inside the battery for S3 (and I think S4) devices.
The dodgy seller (who has dodged all attempts to contact him) has the ebay ID of techno_links.
Long story short the battery itself is fine. I have tested it and it seems to have comparable performance to the original unit - so as long as you dont need NFC it is ok for a spare. My advice though - if you buy one (from ANYONE) make sure you test NFC as soon as you receive it so you can lodge a paypal dispute before the deadline. (Wish i had thought of that)
And that way you will get a spare battery for your i9300 for free!
YAY for paypal!

Nope - the S4 takes an entirely different battery. Wont fit - not even close.
Anything can be written on the battery by those fake producers of battery. If u want a genuine battery just go to the samsung store.
I recently got ripped off from an online website for an 'OEM battery' for my SGS3. NFC worked fine but the battery never lasts a whole day when compared to the stock battery which lasts about a day and a half, with roughly the same amount of usage.
I made a nfc battery from original nfc circuit + compatible battery
I replaced the circuitry from the fake nfc battery with the one from the original battery. The head connector got somehow bulky because of my re-soldering I had to remove the plastic from the downside of the battery, but it's working fine NFC tested ok, the battery is charging. I'm happy, I will use it until I will receive another original Samsung B600BE for my S4
