The stock calendar app on my Samsung Galaxy Note does not retain all of it's settings if I happen to reboot my device. I like using the Calendar View + List, but if I reboot my device it will reset itself to Calendar View + Pop-Up. It also does not retain the ringtone I choose. If I reboot, it will default back to the On Time ringtone.

Ever since the 4.1.2 upgrade a few days ago I have the exact same issue on my Note2 - mildly annoying I agree

I Ian hoping that one of you can solve my problem. I have several exchange email accounts that work well on the s3. Under ICS there's was a mail widget that provided me with a short cut directly into one of the accounts. Now all I have it's an icon that takes me to the mail app and from there I have to find the specific account to read or write an email. I am non rooted stockstock
My widget works fine.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I have that widget but there used to be a 1x1 size widget that asked what account you wanted to link to. I could have two of them on a screen each pointing to a different email account

On the default email app, is there a way to make the app auto fit wider emails into the window? I know the Gmail app now has that, but not sure if there's a setting I'm missing to make the default one do that too. I'm pretty sure is doesn't have the option, but just wanted to see if there's something I'm over looking or maybe so way to force it to do it.

So if you type note followed by some words when you search it gives you a timer or allows you to press save now. It then says sensing message. .. After a second or goes back to the main Google now menu and that note is nowhere to be found on my phone, please someone try this and let me know what you find I would like to be able to use Google now to save quick notes via voice. Thanks

Thanks didn't think to look there
On NoWizAsopMod I just noticed that if I drag the bottom right corner of the stock popup browser (I think) I can resize it to whatever size I want. Is that a feature of MA7? (Can anyone confirm that with a MA7 rom?)

Hey thanks for pointing this out! I am on MA7 (stock, not rooted) and yes it does resize.
Surprised they hid the feature I didn't see any news about it.

I would like to setup an IFTTT.com automatic notification so i get an SMS notification as soon as Samsung announces the 4.2.2 firmware for N7100.
Anyone suggest what the best way to get that info would be? eg i can setup a custom twitter search for say N7100 for @Samsungmobile or something like that but wanted to check if anyone else has already done something similar and has a better solution - what is the most reliable RSS feed or twitter feed that I could monitor automatically so i get the update asap?
Thanks!
