I wouldn't say better, cause (a)I'm not an expert and (b)I haven't tried tweakos_t6, but you could check out tytung's kernel. Just a suggestion...but if you do use it, please change MSM_MAX_PARTITIONS from 11 to a larger number(i.e. 20) before compiling.
Also to make it cLK compatible, you just need to add some files for ppp network and set rild properties correctly.
If you download an existing rom from this forum, you'll see what I'm talking about.
Regards!
Love the rom. The notification is really just like cm 10.1 , The only problem is the screen time out it is just like jellybean for the hd2 you have to check no animation for it to quickly shut off. but besides that I love all the new features the lock screen is really cool. Since you incorparated alot of ics and jellybean would it be possible to intergrate the lockscreen widgets like cm 10.1? this is so great how you took gingerbread a step further.
Stuck at boot
Update kernel
hi there..
great job..
any chance to support clk?
Cant download the kernel and one thing this doesnt have Gapps. On another note i took xylographs port of your build and deleted the apps, framework and media than copied all your files in the system folder and voila your build on clk after a long bootanimation and pulling battery and it booted up into the build.
No gapps include
i NEVER put gapps in all cmx build, just flash gapps for gingerbread
for CLK, never use it, so im only build for magldr only,
feel free to port this into CLK or NativeSD

Re: [DEV] [ROM & KERNEL]CyanMobile eXperience 2.3.8 [MAGLDR][NAND Build]
Just a comment, the network signal on status bar is kinda blurred.
I want to know how does a2sd on this rom works. I've installed it and set apps to daownload to ext but my internal memory keeps going down. I mean it shows only the real internal memory and not SD ext as internal. Do I have to manually check every app to move to SD on app management menu? Just asking, pardon the ignorance.
Thanks

I am no dev. I am a flash junkie doing this for fun. I hope you enjoy my work.
I used JellyBean for HD2 by smokin901 as the base.
And CyanogenMod 10 Alpha for HTC Desire S by nk111 on top.
This is not an Official CyanogenMod, and it's not supported by the CM Team.

Hoping someone can tell me what I missed or how to fix. Nexus S isnt GSM. It will get connection but you have to hit Choose Automatically a few times. Looking for a fix or solution .
You could try to port CM10 :fingers-crossed:
stuck on turning on wifi screen? and no data ?
Is this MAGLDR or a clk ROM? I flashed it just now to my HD2 just to try it out but it is stuck on the HTC screen. I am using clk and I also flashed the libhtc_ril_wrapper_0.8b4_CWR.zip but it still is not booting. I know this is based off of smokin901 port but it does not say in his ROM thread either if it is clk or MAGLDR. I am going to use the HD2 NAND Toolkit to repartition just in case that is the issue although clk 1.5 is suppose to do all the partitioning for you. But I will have to boot into Windows for that as I am using Ubuntu right now to do a repo.
The problem is that you're using the nexus s version, and it isn't gsm.

It was @the op. I was addressing his data problem. I should have quoted him, my bad.
EDIT: Your problem is probably(?) related to low space in /system. Try repartitioning cLK using the nand toolkit and use 300 mb this time. You might have bad blocks so you have to keep trying till you get there.

One question: Since it's based on tytungs cm10, does it support 720p decoding?

this is the most important question . what about camcording ?
Nice, minor bug, 2G/3G switching not working.
Excellent Rom. The only minor bug for me is that when I'm on lockscreen and push the power button for screen off , having a small lag ( completely screen-off takes 5 sec )

Thanks, great rom! I have no idea why, but Gallery app isn't included default. And why standard Messages app is in inverted colors?

actually i'm not sure if the screen (un)lock vibration alone can be disabled, ..but i included the 'vibrafix.apk' app, to bypass all vibration - it's a sure thing for avoiding vibrations, and will disable them even for apps that cannot be unset.

lol, thanks for cheering my day, and giving me a good chuckle on this one - really, thanks.
...because i had esp, purposely searched for an inverted mms.apk app to avoid the 'glaring white' of the standard apps, and also to save some battery, ..and also i thought maybe all the excessive brightness might affect the pixels elements on the screen over time.
and then, i just got in a habit to copy in the inverted mms for any rom i used or ported - it just became a habit for me to copy in.
but of course, please copy in freely any apps to your liking.
the story on gallery.apk - hehe, there was period when the Gallery app was always fc'ng in every new rom, so i started to use the included pic viewer in 'X-plore file manager', ..but i usually install that separately.
..so, my bad - i just overlooked including an image viewer - again, please use whatever one of your liking, or copy in a Gallery app.

hey kam-, i've never experienced repeated issues for booting from cLK (kokotas') on NAND or DataOnEXT, though I did experience similar to yours, almost exactly, once a while back, just happens i was doing ports of ParanoidAndroid 2.51 & 2.52 then, and i resolved that by ** manually formatting NAND/boot from recovery **.
I formatted NAND/boot from recovery and the issue vanished.:fingers-crossed:
ESP between repeated rom flashes to NAND, the NAND memory never actually gets erased, and if you are experiencing any unexpected things, then better manually to wipe it - there's no reason why the NAND should be clean before your next flash, right? ..unless you wipe it yourself.
and if that doesn't resolve it, then try also formatting NAND, from kokotas' cLK:
kokotas' cLK > Settings > Format NAND
and that should also read out all and any ** bad blocks ** on any of your NAND partitions.
i just happen to have 2 bad blocks on my tmobile hd2, but they happen to usually sit in my NAND/system partition.
that's all i can suggest to you, pal - really hope that resolves for you.

I personally tested the rom..try reformatting your ext4 partition and flash again..everything will work flawlessly..
Great rom. Im on windows mobile right now and data wasnt working for me so i took the clk patch and put in the rom before a reflash and data is wonderful now just to let you know.
Beautiful, nice and smooth. Thank you! :good:

200Mb is quiet big for a GB miui rom. But i'll give a try
edit ; can't access the rom, link looks dead.
Great job, goes very smoothly but does not recognize ext4, so internal storage is very low. I have formatted the sd rom and I did clean install.
Hi, what is the difference between this ROM and [01.01.2013] Resurrection [MAG/cLK][NATIVESD][DATAOnExt] MIUI Eve JB -Tytung Ker in terms of stability and power drain? The both ROMs looks the same, so there is a problem which one to choose first to test?
Specific question: which kernel has any of these ROMs? There is no info about it in the post #1.
I think this is a great rom. There is only one issue. When I try to install apps sized more than 5 MB system refuses and tells me there's no more space available.
How can I fix this?

I think it should nt be the case related to ext4..everybody here is to access their ext4's..make sure you have set both fat32 and ext4 as 'primary'..

Guys Once again I am hosting the work of wwchang as he's quite busy these days learning how android compiling actually works and stuff. He compiled many android 4.2 roms of which this is one of the best results.
Please try it and post your feedbacks.remember this is an alpha build so please don't expect everything to be working as of now.
Any suggestion to help fix bugs are welcomed.
As said by wwchang:
- this is another alpha compile of JellyBean 4.2.1 sources for hd2
- working: phone, sound / music, smooth graphics & gallery, camera, no esp fc's in system
- not working: data (needs tweeking), gps, wifi (turns on but doesn't scan,
--- basically wifi for 4.2.x needs a new kernel with 'broadcom dhd' either 2.6.38 qsd8k evervolv sources ported to leo or a working 3.0x leo kernel

I can´t configure my google count.
With magldr and NativeSd booted but I got the message:
"Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped"
All users having problem in nativesd installation please wait.I'll give a fix tomorrow as now i am working on my school project
thank you very much for working on this project!!!
looking forward for Native SD:good:

Hey Anurag I have a cuestion if you can help me...You said wifi partially works...so it does turn on but doesn't scan?
So I was wondering If the case is the one I wrote then If I write the correct lines in "wifi_supplicant.conf" for my home network..it will automatically connect right??
re
test with NAND install and magldr
- install no problem
- mobile network is okay
- rom is fast
- sound is okay
- grafic driver have a problem
- Gallery2 have a problem (with drivers)
- no WIFI
- no GPS
- no 720p (change the libstagefright.so)
:good::good::good::good:
pixelfreak
I've just tried it(Nand+DataOnExt, Magldr), and it's a lot faster comparing to NexusHD2 jellybean. Animations are smooth, notification drawer is less laggy when pulling down, recent apps are smooth too.
Ok, the problems are:
1. Wi-Fi
2. GPS
3. Graphics driver as pixelfreak said,(Try Dead trigger for eg.). Same as 4.1 roms on the beginning. Apparatus and Temple run 2 both work great.
4. I think multi-touch is a bit screwed.
5. And yeah, the last thing is camera where your screen is messed up but it takes good pics(workaround is enter the camera, exit the camera and then launch it again).
Everything else is better than in 4.0, 4.1 roms. I'll make a list of installed apps later if someone needs.
And yeah, don't add 720p decoders since they make the build laggier. Correct me if I'm wrong but NexusHD2 v1.2 is a lot smoother than v1.3(a).
Thank you!
EDIT: I've just found out that camcorder doesn't work. Gallery has stopped error after 1 sec.
EDIT2: Gapps: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip

wwchang tried flashing marcs kernel.Didn't fix Wi-Fi
For Magldr NativeSD issues Unzip the rom and replace the attached initrd.gz with the initrd.gz in the kernel/boot_NativeSD folder in the extracted rom.zip it and flash it.It was originally made for vj's rom by rudeblunt PLease try it on this and report the result
To flash Gapps to NativeSD use THIS
I'll Download the rom maybe tomorrow and integrate these changes and fix some things myself
