Check this out guys and gals! I absolutely love the simplicity of this app. The Dev is young as well.
MMS is not supported yet...oh well updates soon coming!
Just showing some love!
Check it out!

Very cool Message App! The look fits great with the rest of android, and it's simpel yet new. Nice design and idea!

It's very beautiful app. But still some bug, I give it a try later
Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
I like it, will try it for a bit
This app with MMS will bring me much happiness, its basically CM10.1 SMS app without the features and need for deodexing. I donated in advance hoping MMS gets done and sharing
Seems a bit laggy to me but definitely looking forward to this app when it gets some more polish.

That's a great app. Really nice and clean. The lack of MMS isn't too much of a problem as I just tend to use whatsapp for that.
Very impressed!

Doesn't even open for me. Just crashes! Running CodeFireX.

Looks nice although I am pretty satisified with chompsms. Hmm, tempting

Looks really nice and fits in with Holo perfectly.
Only 2 issues I've found are: doesn't seem to mark messages as read and if youre typing a message and you receive a message (at least from the same contact) it deletes everything you've typed
Saved awaiting updates though

Originally (almost 2 years ago) I started out using ChompSMS. I then switched to Handcent, then to GoSMS, and now I'm considering switching back to Chomp. I feel like GoSMS and Handcent are both catering to newer phones that can handle a lot of bloatware. I'm just curious what everyone else with a G2 is using to send text messages these days. What's working the best for you?

Thanks, I'll give stock a try again but will use a popup app for messages. That was one of the features that drew me to the other apps.
I hated pop up messages. That's why I stayed stock.
If I recall, CM10 now has option for pop up messages, including the quick reply.

I just got into using twitter for my music, what is your favourite twitter app and why?
I'm only using the stock Twitter application since there are so many and I'm not sure which is good.
Tweedle for sure awesome options for and is super smooth
Oh and wrong section

This is in the apps section
I'm a big fan of Twicca
I haven't really used any Twitter app other than Twitter and falcon. I'm using falcon at the moment and I like how the widget works. Nice and simple with notifications on new tweets, refresh and do on.

I like using Tweetcaster. Suits my needs very well and has a lot of options. I'm super fond of the image filter. Hope that helps in your search.
Falcon pro and the falcon widget

Boid, holo themed, open source, improved my battery a bit when I switched to it and friendcaster (Facebook). Try them all!

I have the paid version of Plume, love the multiple columns and embedded pictures.
Tweetcaster serves my needs

I go between Slices and the stock twitter.
falcon pro.
I'm using tweetings. Switched because the official twitter app doesn't have a tablet version for my nexus 7.

Plume here mainly because it had the nicest looking widget
Falcon Pro for Twitter. How fluid the app is, inline website viewing, and ease of access to lists and list management.
I previously used Boid and loved it until they stopped developing it, have they been releasing updates for it since it became open source? Other twitter apps I love are Echofon and Tweetlanes.
Falcon Pro. I rarely buy apps but I did for this. Definitely worth it

Definitely Falcon Pro

Another vote for Plume, although it sounds like I need to check out Falcon, I haven't heard of that one.
I like Plume because it has thumbnails of images in tweets - although some don't like that. As mentioned before the widgets are good also.
Used to be on plume used tweetings then found twidere which is the same same as tweetings but free, no ads.
Anyone got news of Carbon for twitter apps... Was supposed to come out in end August or beginning of October can't remember..

What he said. I use only Falcon Pro. It was worth the price in my opinion.
Do you use the default built in one or another?
I was using samsung's default sms app but just went back to what I was using on my dell streak which is Go SMS Pro.
For some odd reason every once in awhile my default sms would sometimes freak out and show no messages at all until I restarted then a lot of messages would be missing after I restarted.
Hoping that Go SMS Add's a split view like the default sms.
I use handcent sms and have never had any issues... used handcent on all 5 Android devices that I have owned....

I'm using a combination of default and Fusion Messenger. Fusion is in beta and gets an update almost every day but it is coming along very well. Yesterday I finally decided to use it as my main app. It's missing MMS at the moment but that is next on the list. After that Google Talk will be added.
I've tried lots of messaging apps but always come back to stock.
Note ii running JDevil
Team ZODIAC
I like GoSMS and all of its advanced options, and plus ya can doodle in it with ya SPen and others can see it and don't need anything special to view it.

Try Facebook messenger for regular sms....works like a charm and I like the UI

I use messaging + goggle voice in the app store. Paid app but same feel as stock and incorporates google voice texts. I hated using the gv app to text and wanted them all in one place. I use google voice for my personal line and the carrier line for work. This solved both problems and let me keep the look and feel of stock.

Is it bothering you that it's in the apps section? It is a question but more like a discussion on apps out there. I prefer it here

I think it does bother him. This is the 3rd thread that he bumps up saying the same thing.
Apparently if it's a question in any way shape or form then is in the wrong place to him!
Even if its a question pertaining to apps or themes and which ones you use or why...

But someone already hit the nail on the head when they called him a troll in my launcher thread 1 whole page was full of his senseless babbling and ranting... LoL

Glowfly in The play store. Has several different color option . Tried to find the link for you but I am on my nexus 7 and it doesn't show up. Just search for it in the play store. I love it..

I use ninja sms, works great imo, very minimal power use

My vote is for glowfly. Only a buck and is better than SMS popup since developer stopped supporting the app or refuses to fix the multiple popup for the same message bug
So!
I am searching for an app/a messenger, like whatsapp, that would encrypt your messages with AES 256bit encryption.
On the Iphone there was this brilliant app - wickr - they said it is coming also to android soon, but yeah... I was searching for an alternative till then)
And another thing:
I tried tiger text... No!
I want a fully anonymous app! No email, phone nr or so attached!!! Is there smthing that would fit the description?

Try "surespot" from google market
Trying it now! From the description - looks pretty good
