[REQ] Proprietary Binaries

Does anybody have, and care to share, the proprietary binaries for this phone for an AOSP build?
Or know how to get / extract / whatever them.

Those are old, outdated and won't boot a build.. I'm working on updating them.. you can probably find updated ones on my github >.>

I randomly pmed times_infinity bugging him for help as well, and he gave me a whole host of more updated files he's been using. That makes him awesome. Seriously, everyone is being so awesome to me. With any luck, I will have a (probably glitchy, most likely alpha) build of just straight vanilla ICS for our phones soon. Its a ROM I have been wanting for a while. I also know vanilla will be a good base to build off of, so, once it is solid, I will be allowing any dev to use my ROM without having to ask my permission first.

I am still waiting to hear from lorjay if I can slap a certain name to this. You have been awesome man, as well as tin metal and shadowgod. When this is released, I will make sure to give credit where credit is due.

Chris it won't boot because it has the international sgs2's egl props to get sbrissen's 3.0 kernel to work properly.

it may have used to, but they have been changed a few times, and have some ff18 props, which also dont boot..

This will be my first ever rom, and I have very little idea what I am doing. Even if all the files times_infinity gave me work brilliantly, the odds of this booting my first attempt are next to zero.

I still have to figure out what to do with the binaries and repos he gave me. I will get it working at some point. And I may be bugging you guys some more for help. But thank you.

Thanks man. I am still trying to figure this beast out. I don't have a ton of time, and I still am trying to learn everything before I can really get into this. Again, thanks to EVERYONE for all of your support. I truly hope not to disappoint.

I can help build but at this point I can't test anything until I get a refurb from Samsung...

Alright. I am off today. I have the files I need. If this even boots when I am done, it will go up in the DEV section as a WIP, and I will hit you guys up for testing. Thank you so much.

CM 10: Jelly Bean [Skyrocket Port/Kang] 7/18/12

This is a port of CyanogenMod 10 for the Skyrocket, to our phone, the Hercules. It is presently a kang as I do not have the bandwidth for dl'ing the source (switched zimage, various other parts, fixed rotation, vibration). Hopefully this will inspire similar development in our forum:

Took preventative measures against call echo

These are the bugs I found
If you can fix anything here that would be great!
1. Video camera does not work I tried different camera apps also and it still didn't work.
2. If you plug in headphones every thing still comes out of the speaker.
3. The mic does not work in any app except the phone.
I am still testing but that is what I found so far.

It's in the General section for now. But it's 4.1 so it probably isn't compatible since the thread title says 4.2+

Same as my 4.1+ package but modified to work with 4.2+ ROMs.

Using it for 2 days working great. Makes the Alpha 2 ROM snappy and smooth.

What's up guys. I build AOKP every couple of days. They're on my goo acct for anyone that wants to flash between official builds or when hawkx or whoever builds. Anyway, I built tonight with some new stuff from a I9300 4.2.1 leak. All the work was done by others, including kejar31 from carbon devs, I just grabbed the goods. This build is very smooth so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

It makes a huge difference. But like I say in the op, I didn't do any work. The cm guys and kejar do the work. It's all been merged into aokp source now.

I Have No Signal etc.can't get past the activation screen. Tap the 4 corners of the screen to bypass activation screen then go into settings> more> mobile networks> and change CDMA Subscription and System Select to Automatic then reboot...
Do I Full Wipe? I always full wipe and do the above.... =)

I'll find out what's going on I don't have internet at my house and the neighbours WiFi is not strong enough to reach mine so it not kicking on but I'll try some different kernels you just flash ROM and apps no other kernels

Volume up/down (can't remember which one, pretty sure it is down) and power button since this is AOSP. And I think you mean you know there is no swipe motion.
