[Q] Digitizer Replacement - Which Version? - HTC Wildfire S

Hello,
my Digitizer is broken and unresponsive.
While searching for a replacement Part, I stubled over (at least) two different versions of Digitizers for different versions of the Wildfire S.
Is there some kind of Part Lookup by HTC? How do I find out which version I have (G13/G8//A510*)!?
I have my S/N and P/N etc, but found no place where I can look it up - and I did not find anything about this on the xda-wiki or on the -forums...
It is an orange-UK branded phone by the way.
And: are those 15€ digitizers from china "okay" - or are they better left unconsidered?
Thanks for your help.

If your phone is an orange/uk you have a a510e , and in this post there are 2 links where you could find a new digitizer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36823771

Artemis Faulty Display

Hi all.
I bought the p3300 about 4 months ago in Prague.
2 weeks ago a problem started, as the display appears awkward.
the touch screen still working, and so does all the functions,
but the screen appears white.
i sent it to a lab, but they didn't know how to fix it.
(no HTC repair center in Israel.)

what should I do? should I buy a new LCD screen and install it?
another q - is it recommended to install new ROM in order to have more program memory?
thank you.
Ronny
anyone? please?
U should check cable LCD-to-systemboard.... If you have no warranty
i have warranty but it's invalid in Israel, as HTC has no representatives here.
sending it to europe will cost as buying a new LCD.
anyway, i checked the cables and they seem fine... though i don't have spare ones to replace...

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But then, i got this display bug :
So it can't boot now, and i can't open my phone correctly.
Here is a capture from my Bootloader menu :
This is a software problem or hardware? And there is an issue? (can it be fixed with flash or something like it?)
Thanks all,
Maybe hardware... but can't say it could be related to your boot loader.

Maybe you must flash stock ROM with S-ON?Anyway,you must do this before you go to the service centre.
Thanks for replies dude,
But it can be the mainboard or the screen even the bootscreen is ok at the beginning ? (photo 1)
99% hardware, flex cable most likely

for the HTC ONE X ?
Because its an android phone maybe
Because (almost) nobody would use it when you can have Android instead. Also porting it would be almost impossible.
Why would you want WP??
No advanteges at all... Even if it's possible.. Devs rather spent time on useful/desired portings
So I think it's too much work (If possible)
And no enough benifets

Firstly we would need s-off and secondly you need a valid serial for windows and its closed source, making the port a crack which isn't supported on these forums.

Anyone know anything about this phone?
It's a bit late for a reply to this but for future reference if anyone needs it.
The "-V" is an Australian version that is the same as the "-M".
It is locked to either Optus or Vodafone (I can't remember because as I change ROM so does the letter and I forget what mine started as).
I am with Optus if that helps.
I have had no problems installing custom ROM's or any software in mine and it is still running strong 2-3 years after buying it. Although I am on my third battery.
I would however be careful what custom ROM you install as 9 out of 10 I have tried I am finding myself charging the battery 3-4 times a day.
I have also found Link2SD to be the most stable way to expand memory on the Gio.

[Q] Needing a 220 coil and some advice

Hi everyone, hope you are doing alright.
I changed my HOX screen today, and after testing it, the backlight did not work. I researched and it looks like it's a 220 coil issue according to this and a thread in another forum.
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now my questions are, I'm a person with basic soldiering skills. I have soldiered headsets and VCR"s and that type of thing before. Is it that hard to replace the coil?
Also, I can't find them except on Alibaba which takes a month to deliver. and I need the phone soon. Does anyone have one that I can pay for in anyway that they prefer? ( Bitcoin, Paypal, Giftcard, etc. ).
It's just frustrating for me, and I hope I can find someone to help me out.
Thanks in advance =)
Hi @Aidin+,
You'd probably get more luck posting this in the general hardware hacking forum --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/hardware-hacking/hardware
