That's not the one I'm looking for, I want the one from Samsung stock rom not ics stock one.
Can anyone running stock Samsung rom post it here. Thanks

Probably not due to the fact that mms is really tied with framework. You could try an JB touch wiz rom like tweakwiz Jedijelly embryo, etc.

Just downloaded. Wouldn't let me install. Running AOKP Mr1 milestone 1. Is it possible? Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think SMS touchwiz would work on aokp or any aosp rom.

You can get it to work if you modify/add framework2.jar and SecTelephonyProvider.apk from the same ROM you take the SecMms.apk from. If you are taking the SecMms.apk from an S4 ROM then grab the mms-common.jar instead of modifying framework2.jar. All these are TW mind you...

[Q]JB caller on FI27

Hey, guys.
My English is not good, but I'll try to explain...
On my smart is OTA FI27 ROM. I try CM10, AOSP, AOKP, but it has any problems on our mobile provider.
I like JB caller/lockscreen.
Can anybody modify stock caller/locker to JB AOSP/TW5?

Try "Holo Locker" from marketplace.
I think it is what you are looking for.

He wants a different layout for the in call screen from what I've gathered.

I want the phone.apk out of jelly bean. Or from TW JB.

Which one you want I would suggest just download a rom that has the apk you want then use romtoolbox to pull extract apk and paste to the rom your using under system apps.

No cuz he doesn't have your phone. So there's no way he could push an apk to system for you since it requires user input on the device itself
I like to break stuff!

I seriously doubt JB Phone.apk will work on FI27.

Working TW Group Messaging App?

Hey peeps,
Are there any TW ROMs that have a working group messaging feature built in? I do not want to use GOsms or Handcent or any other apps.
I just want to know if any ROM had it working currently. The ones I've all tried only send group messaging of course. But all replies I get are split into separate threaded conversations. Any one know of one that works iPhone group messaging style?

I tried that, but I think because most of the TW framework is modified or removed, it won't work on other TW ROMs. It would constantly crash when I installed it on Macks ROM. But thank you for the heads up.

Ya I couldnt get it working on other tw roms either but I like it anyway. Has a good mix of tw and stock. I cant find another rom that has it working.

cLock for TW?

I have seen and am using the ported 4.2 messaging apk on clean bean 2.6, it works awesome and with group messaging too 
I haven't seen if the cLock from CM had been done the same way. I love this and wanted to know if it had been done or can be done?

The APK is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186734, but it's for 4.2 only, so it won't run on 4.1.2.

This does not work on TW right? Just tried and it does not work for me. It just fail.

That would be why the guy above you said it only works for 4.2 unless you have a 4.2 tw rom then please fill me in on how to get one

nope you'll need a pc and its easier than you think - try vts studio for compile/de compiling that should make things a breeze !

I'm not positive but I thought CM Mms had group messaging? I heard its functionality is a bit hit-or-miss when using aosp mms on tw. I'm going to try out the TW mod from the referenced thread though and see what that does.
