[Q] location avast firewall logfile? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using Avast Mobile Security and quite like the app, especially because of the 2-way firewall with logging.
Does anyone know the location of the firewall logfile?
(visible by selecting Avast icon / avast! Mobile Security / Firewall / Settings / Firewall log)
(I'm running in Whitelist mode, and block everything I can - and thus have to check the log very often if something doesn't work ).

[Q] google backup and restore missing!!

So I got my galaxy S II yesterday and while I was setting it up I noticed the Google backup and restore options are missing from Settings - Privacy. I rely on this functionality to get my progress restored in certain apps namely Robotek. Not all apps use Google's backup service, but for the ones that do it works really well. Doe's anyone have insight into these missing settings? I would like to not lose my progress if possible.
Thanks!
I don't see Backup and Restore under the Privacy settings either. Does anyone know if this something that Samsung or Sprint left out of the stock ROMs?

[Q] Default Email App - Auto Fit

On the default email app, is there a way to make the app auto fit wider emails into the window? I know the Gmail app now has that, but not sure if there's a setting I'm missing to make the default one do that too. I'm pretty sure is doesn't have the option, but just wanted to see if there's something I'm over looking or maybe so way to force it to do it.

[Q] Means to enable Google Wallet

I was wondering, would this .apk enable Google Wallet to work and would it cause any issues such as a breaking Google Wallet if the card is not detached before restoring the build.prop or any other issues?
I know that you can enable google wallet in a more permanent fashion for this phone, I was just curious if this method could work and what the downsides would be.
Thanks!

Android Email App Blocking PDF Downloads

Hey everyone,
This seems to be a problem in the default Android email client app... some emails (namely my monthly rent statements) that have PDFs attached seem to be blocked while others are fine. In the email list pane, I see the paperclip showing there's an attachment, but when I go in to read the email, it gives me no option to view the PDF attachment. It's as if it's blocking it for being malicious or something. As I said, is only for certain sender's. Does anyone know what causes this and if there's something that can be done about it? This happens on my GN, as well as my N4, 7 and 10. That leads me to believe it's something in the email client.
Thanks
I wonder if the sender is in your contacts list? Not sure if that could be reason.
I have had problems downloading attachments with the gmail app. it gets pretty frustrating

[Q] Bluebox hack 8219321

Once these guys release how their exploit works....
is there any way someone might be able to come up with a way to remove the "SYSTEM" tag from some non-essential apps (ChatOn, most of the Samsung bloat, etc).
I have disabled most of the apps - but there are some that wont disable. I would like to be able to disable the remaining ones. . . .
I believe this should be in the Q&A section buddy
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
That supposed bluebox scam is just a hoax. There have been ways to get around the signature checking since Android development started, and it has nothing to do with Android itself.
That said, their "discovery" has nothing to do with the context you're bringing it up in.
The Thanks button is just to avoid "THANKS" posts in threads. Don't defeat the purpose of why it was introduced.
