Maybe just be happy with your gf and don't deceive her it can end badly if your gf gets on your xda account and sees what you've been posting

Or you man up and just keep the girls as wallpapers ? Its just a wallpaper for god sake..
I just changed my GF's launcher to Nova, showed her that I could restore TouchWiz if she needed to (with all ther icons still in place) and the imported her stuff from TouchWiz and left her with it. It's been a few days and she hasn't complained.
I'm trying to niggle her down. She's still on XXLG9 ICS 4.0.4 I run my own ROM with many users and she won't even use it Doesn't like changing it I swear if 4.1.2 is super good I'll just have to do the same thing, back up her phone in CWM and with Titanium... install the latest version and restore everything as it was!

Use Tasker. If launcher 1 set wallpaper to x, if launcher 2 is visible set wallpaper y. It does have 1 second lag or so to detect the running application and switch, but it's the only method to my knowledge.

Thanks i knew there should be a way to do it, ill try it.

Just as your GF how she changes her wallpaper of all the naked guys just before she meets you! LOL!
Failing that you could always just use Tasker (as mentioned) to change the wallpaper but you can also change it based on location (WiFi, GPS etc..) or time of day, or just create a shortcut or widget to change it, basically whatever you want. It does only work with static wallpapers but there is a 3rd party app (EasyProfiles) that can change live wallpapers and it integrates in to Tasker so even that is possible.
Is it just me, I have just gone through hundreds of live wallpapers on the market, can't find one I like, refund after refund, can anyone recommend something that's really really good? Nothing Christmas related

I understand completely. Went through almost every live wallpaper which had a rating of >3.5. Couldn't find anything good enough. Finally ended up installing Wallbase with HD wallpapers. You can have the regular water effect with these.

Those who help noobs go to heaven. True story.
I think live wallpapers are great in theory, but poor in execution. Some of them are fun for a few minutes, but that's it and then they're useless and battery drain for how often I'm actually on a home screen where they can be seen. After having gone through so many, you begin to ask yourself, "what would be a useful live wallpaper for me?"
I still don't have that answer.

I would love to help you, but help yourself first: ask a better question

Hi buddy. I use the Kotori Live Wallpaper. I know it's redundant, but it informs you of missed calls/msg & has an assortment of odd musings. The background will mirror your current weather condition & there's an XMAS tree to which I believe the app follows major holidays. I can't bear to change this wallpaper.
This is what I use and everyone that sees this setup on my device is amazed.......https://play.google.com/store/apps/...50YW1hbmVnaS53YWxscGFwZXIubXVsdGlwaWN0dXJlIl0.
Of course you have to customize it to your liking :good:
Good to see its not just me, I've had the video live wallpaper for a few years, at Christmas I use the Christmas tree pro, for two years, I just can't believe I can't see anything interesting, don't get me wrong the work they do is fantastic,I just can't find a keeper(only at Christmas time) my favorites have been live beech,I like a futuristic live wallpaper, something that looks stunning, and I just want to add,I hate clock live wallpapers, the time is always visible from the status bar(by default) so why have it again on your home screen?

This was one of my favorites(without the clock showing)

I have seens some really fantastic home screens lately online. those that seem non standard (at least for me), like having the link to an app not as a square on your screen but as text instead (and not written vertically or horizontally, but diagonally).
is that part of the rom they are using or themese? Is it possible for the arc s? If so, any info?
Sounds like it's just a different launcher, you can get pretty much any to work with your phone, as an apk, or as a theming app from the play store, which is where you get the themes, however narrowing it down to what theme it was, is your job

When I first joined here the thread I read everyday was the "post a screen shot" in the X10 section, you'll learn a lot from it and come across the apps and mods used by others to create their unique Home screens.
It's probably just an app or a combination of apps. Try looking for multicon, minimalist text, icon changer, font installer, etc etc

Hey guys, I just stepped up to the 4 from the 3 and I love the widget. However, it looks like crap with most wallpapers. I've seen several transparent ones in the home screen pics, can someone please give me the link? I'm not a newbie, I searched..Lol. Seems you need to be rooted to use the ones I found. I store I wasn't gonna root this one... it's only a matter if time though...Lol! Thanks in advance.

As far as a transparent TW weather widget, I don't think that one's possible. One alternative that looks pretty close is "Transparent Clock & Weather" from the play store.
Without root, try beautiful widgets from play store. The tw one is from evilart (wicked roms), and its for rooted phones.

Ive been looking for a Fallout pip-boy 3000 style theme for a while now. Its basically why I created this account. I was thinking vault boy app logos in a pip-boy style menu bar or something. There is one for jail broken iPhones but i have found nothing for rooted androids yet. Ill gladly pay 15 dollars if someone can develop a solid theme.
Unfortunately I dont have enough posts to post outside links yet, but if you google "fallout 3 iPhone theme" You can find pictures.
Thank you in advance.

Wow thanks. Another quick question though, do I have to run this through another app such as or similar to Go Launcher EX? Because i found two other themes but they both require me to run through some other app and the theme isnt changing the actually home screen of my phone, just the appearance of the application im using the theme through.
Ill give it a shot though, thank you.
