Go into applications and force close the camera app. If that doesn't work hard reset the device.

Do that, or you may have to change the contrast settings. I know that happened to another user...otherwise, your camera may be broken.
Your camera is separating off the board. It will eventually fail completely. I'd get it repaired under warranty.

It seems that recently my calendar app just disappeared. It doesn't show in my app list but I can still add the calendar widgets to my home page. Is there some way of getting the app back?

I don't have it rooted or any roms installed. It was there like a week ago and then suddenly I go to use it and its not there. My phones pretty much the same as it was when I got it.

Try a factory reset. It's a known bug with the stock rom.

menu, settings, apps, manage apps, find playstore, clear cache, clear data, then find one called google services, clear cache, clear data, reboot while standing on one foot covered in peanut butter saying I'm a dirty little midget, and you should be good to go.

It's known to cause similar issues to this. Jeremy's steps should fix it. Give that a try.

Just to clarify, you want to wipe data and cache on Google Services Framework. I just got this issue yesterday on PA, none of that fixed it, even reflashing gapps didn't work, ended up wiping and reflashing everything.
The only thing you have to do is delete the google update and you be fine.

Till it reupdates, then the problem comes back, my steps have worked many times, it happens almost everytime i flash a rom. Everyone can be different, just make sure and reboot after doing what i said before trying to download again

I hope you hopped on one foot and called yourself a dirty little midget, because if you didn't, the fix is only temporary.

*It is crashing on me almost every time I snap a picture. The second I snap a pic, it does its loading screen, freezes, and then exits out of the app, and brings up the notification that it crashed and I can submit info. I have since deleted and reinstalled a few times, and keep getting the same result. Was wondering if anyone else using instagram is having this issue, or if it is a problem with the phone. Thanks

That update totally screwed my phone over.
I run a stock, rooted dinc 2. Last week the phone started hanging. I would turn it on and the clock was a couple of hours behind. Or, I would close an application and Sense would crash. Basically, something killing Sense randomly, and without that you can't do anything but power off and reboot.
I cleared the cache hoping that would help. No luck. Then I ran 'adb logcat' on it and noticed that Facebook was repeatedly trying to install a .jar and failing. This was burning my battery and crashing Sense.
I cleared Facebook's data and uninstalled it. Now, no problems for the last three days.
