I'm looking for a holster to carry my Samsung Galaxy SIII with a UAG case. What are my options out there? What kind of good-fit holster should I be looking for?
I know that the Otterbox Defender includes a holster, but that case is just too bulky.
The holster of the seidio active fits but its a hassle to clip it on with one hand. Maybe the holster from the seidio convert is a better fit but wish somebody would confirm it

So does anybody happen to own both an otterbox commuter and a seidio active holster and know if they work together? I love my defender but it is a tad bulky. Since I work in a chainsaw shop having a holster that faces screen in is a must. I know buying both is about the same price I just love how you can see the entire beautiful front glass on this phone with the commuter. Any feedback or opinions are much appreciated.

interesting.. it fits in the surface holster, i thought it would have fit in the active holster.

I'm thinking it would fit even better, like you don't have to force it into the bottom of the holster if it was an active holster. In the past with other phones I've had the commuter and active series of cases have been almost identical in size. Good to know it works with the smaller holster though. If anyone has tried the active holster please help us out.

Yes.the commuter fits perfectly in the active holster and can be squeezed into the surface holster.
hey guys i had my Otterbox defender and loved it but i switched to the commuter because i didnt need that much protection. but i really miss the clip on the defender it was perfect is there a similar clip that will work with the commuter?

I use the commuter as well and while it fits in the seido clip, it doesn't latch so if you need it really secure, I wouldn't trust it. I would either get the seido active with holster or the kraken.

Hey everyone, i was looking at some cases and holsters. I would like a holster for my phone, but i dont want to put it in a bulky rubber otterbox to have a holster. Is there a holster that will hold just the phone, or maybe would have a thin case?
