Good afternoon!
Since I locked bootloader (bootloader unlook: NO), and as yet there is no way to unlock.
Is there any alternative rom, better than the original that can be installed through flashtools?
You can only install official ROMs on locked boot loader devices

XTXperience, Xperia SSpeed are stock based roms, you can install them using root + CWM. You can check some guides to root your phone and install a CWM recovery in the development forum.

I flashed darkforest rom and then the team stock rom after that
I have an unlocked bootloader. But probably going to use that Darkforest mix or a stock one so I can keep my gamepad controls.
Do you mind me asking which you liked better.
I'm currently using the UK ROM on my locked BL R800x. Works great and gives me Timescape which the Verizon ROM that came stock did not.

Bootloader is locked ,and yes my phone is rooted.
I'll try it ,thank you.

I am now using the cyanogen 10, so I changed the kernel on the phone, the fact is that I do not know which ROM install after putting the kernel, I also wondered if it would be compatible with cyanogen 9 of Anzu.
ICS kernels will only work with ICS ROMs
JB kernels will only work with JB ROMs
GB kernels will only work with GB ROMs
stock based kernels are compatible with stock based ROMs only.
most (NOT ALL) non stock based kernels are compatible with any cm/Aokp/miui ROMs
so to answer your Q: serene kernel will not work on CM10 because
1) former is for ICS but CM10 is jb
2) cm10 is a non stock based ROM is

Try out different kernels to see what you like, but be sure that the ROM matches the KERNEL! or it won't boot!

and my bootloader is locked. so my question is that can I flash custom roms without unlocking unlocking my bootloader, and if I can then how? or if I can't then how can i solve the problem?
please make your answer noob-friendly.

sent from the State where marijuana is not illegal
You can install Stock based ROMs such as Ultimate HD (most famous ICS custom ROM) or any other Ice Cream Sandwich based ROM. This means you can't install Jelly Bean, but look on the dev forums for [ICS] or [.587], there are a lot that even do have the jellybean statusbar and stuff like that. :3
I have a rooted xperia arc s , which I had rooted using the official bootloader unlock by sony and followed the instructions on the xda thread by free xperia. Now the problem is that, every time i flash another rom, it gets stuck on the free xperia logo and whenever I install the free xperia rom, it starts working. Could you please help me?
you have to flash included kernel in each rom. Diferent roms require diferent kernels
