I mean a power pack which is like a huge battery with a spot to plug in a phone. Where can i get it?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I got mine from EBay.
I would take a picture of it, but im running Dorimanx 7.40 - 4.2.1... LoL
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2200mAh-...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item4d08b6473e
that one,
its gonna come from Australia
WAIT actually that seller dont post International, only Australia, but use that as refence,,,
its 2200mAh,
750mAh output, same as charging through power plug,
BTW
when charging with these, dont use your phone, or it will drain right away...
but it gives around 50% battery charge

Non-HTC Batteries have issues with the kernel. They cant communicate the attainment of 100% charge.

My battery is f*cked, right?
Looks like it's broken, I had the same issues with my previous battery.
Yep, its dead. I had exactly the same... Got me a mugen power battery, and my phone is as new now it takes a week or 2 before u get it, but its well worth the wait and u get a 1600mah instead of the stock 1400mah, with the same dimensions. Not like the bigger, extended 3200mah battery, where you need a new back cover. Check it out

It is better as ur broken battery, dont worry. As for the 85% problem, i noticed that too. Phone at 5% batt with 3,7v remaining when it should shut down at 3,2v. But i use the nexus one batt calibrator's learn function to give my phone additional amps when needed, as long as i have enough voltage fcourse. That way i can use full potentional of the battery until i take the time to find a better solution to properly calibrate the mugen battery

Speaking of that app, I have no clue how to use it. Probably no use with my broken battery anyway, but regardless, how does it work exactly?
A new original HTC batery will only cost you €15,-, so I should go for an original one

I have been using an N7000 for 2 years now. A great phone - but the achilles heel has definitely been power. I had three bateries for it. Got one of those fat aftermarket batteries with the phone cover - it was absolutely useless - I don't think it even held the equivalent power of 33% of an OEM battery. Picked up another aftermarket battery similar in size to the OEM battery. In fairness, that hasn't been too bad - it's only in the last few weeks that it seems to have tanked - cant get much of a charge on it now.
Even with all of those - when I would go away travelling, there still was no comfort. I would have to curtail the way I used the phone. It's for that reason that I've turned to this power bank.
Only received it yesterday - but it seems to be exactly the same as the OP's. Charging it right now.
@Warnahly: Has the power bank retained its integrity since you first started using it? In real terms, what do you suspect is the real power storage of this device (if we are to work on the basis that it probably doesn't strictly live up to the 30K mAh description?

Pristine way right? How that can be happening? Maybe you can use fast charge from google play, as sir arco make it compatible with his roms. But actually it is not necessary to do that as you plug in to wall socket. But you can give it a try.

No. That's battery calibration apps. This is fast charge app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nz.org.winters.android.gnfastcharge
Before connect to charger, open the app, give superuser permission then on it. The plug your charger. It should change to ac charge. Actually it function as if we want to charge it using usb and plug in at laptop, or maybe in car that have usb. So we don't need charger that can plug in the car. Give it a try. Cheers

Don´t belive in what some apps are you showing. Take a DMM and check the voltages yourself. Your charger should output 5V and your battery should have 4.2V when it´s fully charged and something between 3.0-3.6 when discharged.
Myabe your charger is dying or its the battery. Either way no software will fix this, nor whiping battery stats which Android is doing on each reboot, nor green Android ghosts.
First check the voltages and try an other charger. Secound if needed replace the battery against a new one because it may also be the battery which is dying where it´s internal resistance is growing and so reducing the charging current.
The max charging current should be around 0.7 x capacity as charging with higher currents will decrase its lifetime.
It´s not worth using FastCharge. Neither for the lifetime nor for the risk to get your battery exploded, as this is growing too with higher currents.
Currently cargers are dirt cheap. You can get one with 1Ampere output for around $3-4. A replacement battery costs about $10-20.

I recently bought a new battery, which ironically is $39 for a non-original battery, whereas the Samsung battery was charging $52... I think the cause is the charger, it has been relentlessly supporting me for one and a half years and I think its time to say goodbye to it.
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda app-developers app
Yes, I have had already a lot of chargers dying. Disassembled them all and they all are using the same circuit. They are made dirt cheap and it´s production costs will be about 50 cent. The only better quality circuit I came across was from a charger made by Sony. This one was even worth to be repaired but if it comes to the other cheap ones I´m just throwing them away and replacing with new ones.
Just wounder why the batteries are so expencive in your area.
