No way as there is atleast no cm7/cm9 to this yet. Paranoidandroid is based on cm9.

That depends. It's the devs interest. Basically it's made mostly for higher end phones, so I don't think this one can get that thing, but if it gets it would be awesome. It was the best rom on my s2
according to xda our device is in "Legacy & Low Activity Devices" criteria
so it could no be possible......until until cm9 fully out
by cm9 our dev's can do the same
..........so patient.......................

cm7 has just got some better releases now

it depends on the specs not only the screen.. what's the use of big screen but low ram? higher version of Android OS needs more ram to make it smooth and stable without any lags.. expect the cm7 soon it will be fully fixed, just trust the dev.

I think Galaxy chat has 4gb internal and better gpu , and ics is natively supported by the hardwares... however other features include very small upgrades...:angel:
however cm10 is a distant future to us... who are still due to get cm7...
blame broadcom for all this

Hello all,
in an Italian forum, while I was talking to someone, he told me that you could get hq videos (OpenMAX libs) on ICS and I did give the link.
Now I do not know if it will work on our Gio, but it is for all the soc msm7x27.
Early feedback seems positive.
These things are not the result of my work, but only a share for the developer of the Gio and jellaxy team.
I share it but if not work, ask the mod to delete the thread.

It isn't surely working .. read in original post .. it says :in some samsung and lg devices it may work but lag, the developer is trying to fix it
Edit: The Whisp said that it work on mini, so also in gio .. HW acceleration is going to come, armv6 rock!

I opened this thread hoping that some dev would be interested in porting this rom to our Wonder.
Do i think it could be done? I'm not sure that's why i'm asking.

We have a working, super smooth, fantastic CM10 already, why want this?
Of course i love CM10, Arco's latest update Alpha 6 is super smooth. I'm using it right now. But i'm just thinking of the benefits if somebody would be able to port this rom. This is a stock Samsung rom, meaning we can have a fully working:
1) Original Samsung Camera 2) Original Samsung FM Radio
Perhaps there are some other things, but these 2 are worth mentioning.
Here's a comparison with our phone and why i think it's possible to port this rom:

Of course there are some challenges, big challenge i guess:
1. The chipsets are different, SGW is using a Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon, while SGA II uses NovaThor U8500
2. The GPU's are also different. SGW: Adreno 205 SGA II: Mali-400

It's going to be great if we get this ROM. I guess it's needed to change drivers only, but if it's only that, I still don't know how hard it is.
For the chipset and related drivers i think that we can use Arco68's JB 3.0.XX Kernel

Yes we do, unfortunately they are very much focused on CM right now. So let's just hope.
I'm trying to contact some developers from other threads on this also, but no progress yet.
