I've posted an initial FL24 build with Agat's Recovery (with Agat's permission via PM/IM)
After speaking with Agat - and his blessing - we'll be taking over his main kernel efforts.
He'll still be collaborating on the projects but this will hopefully give him more time towards the GS3.
As part of this I'm really trying to push the community kernel effort and get others involved.
So we'll be posting Git Repos and updating the Community Kernel thread as needed.
Kernel Git Repo:
https://github.com/garwynn/D710SPR_FL24_Kernel
Initramfs (includes Recovery) Repo (Updated 1/15/2013):
https://github.com/agat63/E4GT_Multiboot_initramfs
Link to Kernel, Changelog
http://www.sxtpdevelopers.com/showthread.php?106
(I'm linking so I only have to modify at one place, for those asking)
Please let us know by posting in this thread if there are any issues so we can work them out! Thanks!

Flashed successfully using mobile odin.
-Paid apps installed.
-Apps on SDcard are still there.
-Wifi works.
-Doesn't have the governor choices yet.
-4g speeds normal.
Since this kernel has FL in it's name and all late FL leaks were for JB roms I think it would be good idea to put ICS in thread name to avoid any confusion.
If flashed with JB rom it won't work and phone won't boot causing panic.
Just a thought.

Edited! :highfive:
As Garwynn mentioned in OP I'll be semy-retiring from E4GT kernel development.
I'll support all my previous threads and kernels as long as they will be in use and will
support Garwynns' effort in his journey on making new kernels for this device.
I'm open to any questions you guys may have as well.
I need more time for my GSIII development and having great guys picking up where I left
will definitely help making the transition process smooth.
I'm sure with support of this great community we will master anything we want.

And so are you. :good:
You have provided us with so many leaks and info that I lost count for.
And I did work with Garwynn in the past and had nothing but good experience every time.
I'm glad he decided to take a plunge on this. The group he put together can do a lot and I'll
try to help them if I can.
Thanks to all of you, garwynn, agat63 and sextape. Cant put into words how great you are.

Kernel source dropped. Not the leak or OTA.
thanks a lot for the time & effort garwynn. props to Agat as well, maybe it's time for a new Linux box...
Just an update, Agat spent a good amount of time merging his FI27 tweaks into this build.
So everyone please give him a BIG thanks for this time!
He's also asked to change the repository used for initramfs so I have updated OP.
Will be updating community kernel thread to reflect.
New version to be released today after I can compile.
Version 0.2.0 posted in .ZIP and .TAR formats.
More stuff coming today as time allows.

First link (to SXTP Developers) has the links to the .tar and .zip files.
I'm just linking to it from this thread so that I'm not having to update 3+ threads each time we post an update.
...which BTW 0.3.0 will be posting today.
Also on another note: Seeing as FL24 is most certainly our final ICS build... I'll probably make a one click with this inside at some point. Don't want to rush to it yet though as I we're still merging FI27 tweaks onto this kernel.

The focus of this thread is not to take away any of the work kobridge has done. The focus of this thread is to keep the CM9 dailies up to speed with the tweaks that he originally put together.
I do not claim any of Kobridge's work.
If you want to know about the tweaks, how they work, how to install them, check the OP from kobridge - here.
I am just continuing the tweaks, updating them to the nightly builds that ShabbyPenguin is doing. There is zero support here for Kobridge's tweaks, don't waste your time posting for help from me I won't answer those types of questions.
Drama ? oh well wupty do life goes on, got problems ? Can't help you, luul.

How it works :
Rebuilding the base tweaks, makes the tweaks in all their variations and puts them in .CM9_Tweaks/
Once you have a stable base to work with, the Tweak button will allow you to select any tweak you want.
YOU MUST REBOOT AFTER APPLYING THE TWEAK FOR IT TO WORK
Credits:
Kobridge for doing all the hard work.
sfhub for this leaked roms. He is really quiet but taught me lots of things directly and indirectly thru XDA.
Calkulin - initially I got the idea about CPU tweaks through his tweaked ROMs.
VeNuM - Team VeNuM allowed my tweaks to be used on his Rom.
tdunham for his great help and working with me to create flashable zip files. He also tested out Kobridge tweaks on Calkulin's 2v1.5 rom. Now he created the version 2.5 tweaks for Calk's rom (check out the second post)
MrTimz - Adapting various Kobridge tweaks on thier rom and being a good friend
JohnCorleone - for his knowledge and adapting Kobridge tweaks on VeNum
bigpeng testing out on VeNuM_ICE Rom and AnaKonda.
steve97ta for testing out on VeNuM_ICE_Rom and on Stock fe16
BigJPNut for testing out Kobridge tweak v3.0 on VeNum_ICE RL5.5
And many lots of Kobridge Tweak users in this thread!

Hey question will there be a moderate version I would not mind giving this a shot again. Also when kobridge got upset and shut down the cm9 version of his tweaks because of 1 person I kinda saw this coming. The thread praising him in general also had me scratching my head.
But back to the matter at hand. Do what you do my friend and put out some nice tweaks so we can have our phones last a full day at least.

Now track the status of your issue on -
http://bugtracker.liquidsmooth.net
--
Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.
No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

Well, it's in the T989 forum, it says 4.0.4 in the title, and all of ptmr3's ROMs are touchwiz-based. I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's compatible with Android 4.0.4 TouchWiz-based ROMs for T989.

FYI, the stock kernel (and other non-mountable partitions) was posted here and is included in this (prior to this release). OP acquired his own copy.

Just to let end users know that they won't have to flash multiple TARs if they need to stock more than the kernel, and to alert our fine fellow devs to the existence of the other dumps should they need them. Like you noted in PM, they can be easy to miss being in General, and I posted them to save steps for people who might need them. Carry on, and thanks for posting.
With this kernel can I mess with max CPU freq and governor in kernel tuner? Every time I try it reboots..

Good. wasn't sure if that had anything added at all or not that would allow me to do it. Sometimes people say stock kernel and your able to do specific things with it. But I guess this is just straight up stock, nothing more. Nothing less.

I didnt want to clutter up the other thread with a different kernels mixed in with the current code. This thread is going to remain stock or closed to.
I was thinking of Optimizing the stock clock tables and voltage (mabey adjustable VDD) I still dont feel the need to over clock, so thats the way it will stay for awhile. Lets see how close to Linux mainline we can get!

Check Commits for changelog, It's pretty straight forward that way.
Nice work! Does this play well with custom ROMs, or just stock and stock-based?

tears and sad face... eagerly awaiting someone to become our aosp kernel master.... you got the chops for it surprised you havent ran with the ball yet...with the multitudes of aosp roms popping up for use it would be ideal.... ive given it a look into doing it fo the eco mode kernel but is extremely confusing... so much props to you bud... thanks for the fantastic kernels

not a fan of smoocha?
I was running your Liberty Kernel 127 and flashed this a couple days ago. Since then, sometimes when i hit the Home button to return to the Home screen it won't go there until i manually put it there, then it works fine again. Doesn't make sense for just changing the kernel.
Im running Vectus V2. Anybody else seeing this?
Thanks again for doing all this work with both kernels.

No I'm a big fan of the smoocha in fact I've referred almost everyone to use it.... But was hoping evo could produce the eco mode kernel for aosp then I could just build team lgog kernel into all my builds and not have to worry about errors trying to build the eco myself.... Sounds selfish I guess but is how I think

If anyone wants to build the new source its on github. I'll try to get one here soon. Its patched pretty good from kernel .org. some patches were skipped due to breaking drivers but all in all its pretty complete and up to 3.4.51. I'll get it up to 3.4.55 asap
