I'm sending my SGSIII back to t-mobile and want to flash the stock T-mobile ROM. Where can I find this ROM?
Thanks,
So I found the stock rom, but when I'm using ODIN in download mode, I get the following error:

I moved it already. Questions go into Q&A and not Dev.
did u put the tar in the PDA section?
Dude find a guide where's there's step by step on how to flash with Odin. Also I think I have heard making sure Kies is not running in the background meaning exiting the program.

Yeah, thanks, I found it was a corrupt .TAR file.
Thanks.

I don't know what to do anymore :-( I'm at a loss. I've read all the posts; I've read all the tricks; and nada. I can't even access the recovery module in my phone. The only thing I can access is the download screen (1 + power button). The (volume down + camera + power button) stopped working. All I get when I press the power button is the Samsung Logo and that's it. I've changed usb ports, I've restarted the computer and phone, I've tried using different odin versions and in different windows settings (ie XP SP 2, Admin etc).
Is there anyone out there who can help me save a $100 bucks?
Thanks

FYI: I use to have the Viperrom Trinity v3.0.3 and even the ViperROM [TRiNiTY v2.0] EXT4-RFS Dual DK28 4.0.4 at one point. <sigh>
This is a question, so it should go int the q&a section, not development.
As long as you can get into download mode you should still be able to recover the phone.
I think there's an official sprint updater somewhere you can try using instead of ODIN that might help...
You might try a different computer. Install the Galaxy S drivers, and use Odin there...
Moved to Q&A.
I would try Odin'ing to EB13 prerooted with CWM3 so you can put on any ROM after that from the link here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=853209
Use the second one down for CWM3.

Try using odin version 10.3.6 and also download the latest TWRP package for odin (not the zip recovery package) for our sprint note 4 SM-N910P. Another thing, make sure you select the "BL" (boot loader) button to start the flash process in odin. If that fails use the "AP" button just below it. Not sure what else could be causing your problem.
im on latest odin and tried both ap and bl and still fails and its the tar version for odin not the zip
filename is twrp-2.8.7.0-trltecan.img.tar

Most likely the answer to your problem.
Maybe try an app called flashify. You can flash from within the os.

Thank you very much, you saved me from having the recovery on my cell phone n9010p thank you very much again
kiss :good:
Hi, I need to reflash this phone (crashed many, many years ago, it was even in service but crashed few months later again, so I just left him be and got another one. Sadly, now I need it as a spare phone since I don't want to use Nokia 3310 meanwhile my Asus Zenfone is in service), but I have giant troubles with it. First was that the sammobile site is shut down and didn't let me download correct file. Thankfully I found the needed file on one of my disks, so yays.
But I have giant problem applying the ROM with the ODIN software.
If I try to send the .tar.md5 file over v3.12 or higher, it hangs on "File analysis..". If I try it on v3.09 or v3.10, it gives me:
Code:
<ID:0/008> Odin v.3 engine (ID:8)..
<ID:0/008> File analysis..
<ID:0/008> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/008> Initialzation..
<ID:0/008> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/008> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/008> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/008> sbl.bin
<ID:0/008> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/008> BcmCP.img
<ID:0/008> FAIL!
<ID:0/008>
<ID:0/008> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
And if I try it over ODIN v3.07, it actually communicates, sends the file and reboots the phone, but since the fields are not the same and I don't know where to put the .tar.md5 file, so after sending it over the PHONE field when I turn it on, it is in bootloop.
Also everytime this happens the phone stops communicating and I have to restart it to do another failed attempt.
Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks!
use Odin v1.84
Hi guys,
I've got a J200G/DD with stock ROM(5.1.1 - J200GDDU1AOK1) and UNROOTED which is getting freezes after few seconds of turning on getting to the 'Home". Anything can be accessed within the those few seconds and get freeze on wherever it was. No response for any button presses. Screen just shows what ever was doing.
Tried installing TWRP via Odin. But no luck since everytime it relock the OEM/FRP after reboot.
Any help would be much appreciated
