hi there since this morning my daughters phone wobt start.
it keeps asking for google account but even with my account it wont work.
its rooted but dont know which rom is on cause i am away for work.
anyone can help me?

I think I have deleted "My account " app or widget (I don't know what it is)
So now, will I get the ICS update, or not?
I'm on stock everything, except for some deleted bloatware.

u can just download my account in the market if u did delete it. also it has nothing to do with u getting ics or not. like what the other guy said above me.

I gest received the unlock code from T-MO and the rep. couldn't find my EMEI # so I had to give it to him "manually". But he did get my wife's # automatically.
I guess "My account " app has something to do with it.

ur welcome. but i have had to give tmobile my IMEI number before because for some reason there system didnt update it once i got the phone. they told me it takes 48 hours for the system to update ur new IMEI number. but i still call in and make sure they change it. but even then i think it still takes 48 hours to update in there system. thats what the reps told me.
The infected phone is an xperia x8 with stock android 2.1update 1. There is !nothing! instaled from the play store and i have never installed any apps from sd. I cant imagine how could it infect my phone. It wasnt even connected to a gmail account. It makes calls, writes text messages with random chatacters in it. Furthermore it makes randomly fake touches on the screen so it's hard to do anything with it. I've already made a hard reset and installed avast and zoner antivirus but none of them finds any viruses. Any ideas? I'm planing to reinstall the rom but if the factory data reset didnt help i dont really think it would make any change... please help someone i'd really apreciate it.thanks

It's not a virus but a faulty digitizer. You can get it repaired from ASC.

Are you sure? It unlocked the screen lock opened the dialer amd called numbers. I dont really think it's the fault of the digitizer.

So when I am just doing whatever, my phone locks up and a message saying (somgthing).gapps has either stopped working or has crashed. It happens typically once a day. I can be on Facebook, or the Google play store and when I tap a button, that happens. Any idea? I am stock ROM, but rooted. I'm assuming you guys will need more info, I'm just not sure what to say that could help.

More info is definitely needed.
1.) What ROM and Kernel are you using?
2.) Have you done any modifications to the said ROM or kernel?
3.) What gapps package are you using?
Try clearing data for Google framework

i had that error for 3 weeks it drove me nuts , way i fixed it was to set defaults on the browser in applications manager and everyting fine for a week now

If you have CWM installed try fixing permissions.
Go into settings
Accounts and sync
Find your Google account
Turn off Internet sync
Give it a try it worked for me!

This. Try Google first, there are many threads on this already. Internet sync worked for me so try that before you start clearing all sorts of data like me lol

I'll give that a shot and see if it crashes anymore. What does that disable? Chrome syncing I'm assuming? I guess just the tabs?

You could wipe data cache factory or Default camera options.
I tried wiping the app data. Let me try a factory reset. If that doesn't work then what?

From the way you worded this I'm assuming you didnt put any custom roms but just got the phone and set it up. Try doing a factory reset and/or if it doesnt work, would you be willing to try a custom rom and see if the camera works on it? If it doesnt work on a rom either then somethings wrong with the phone and I would suggest getting a replacement.
NOTE: Wait for a few other replies because someone else may have had a similiar problem and this is just a extreme.
Btw, make sure you keep track of your 20 day warranty for a full new replacement.
Also considering there is something Bad with the software try flashing any other rom i recommend you a soft one.
Talked to Samsung Support and they are going to replace it for free. Also offered to pay the shipping both ways! Thanks guys.

I have note 2 official Jellybean 4.1.2 rooted with build XXDMB2. Suddenly it started working weird. I cant sign in to Google play, cant login to youtube, Gtalk, GMail, Google+ and google now. I tried to log in from pc into my google account, and it worked fine. Tried to clear data of google play services but didnt work. Its showin network connection error. Its annoying. I m almost fed up now. I am uploading the screenshots, so you can get better idea. Please give me some solution. Thanks in advance.

No. I am not asking you to format data. So just flashing won't wipe data. I had this problem couple of times and this was the only solution.

Weird solution... For weird problem... That dont do anything it will be fixed automatically after a week. I didnt do single thing now, not even reflash and right now i tried to sign in again and "TADA" it signed it in automatically... WEIRD...
