Google books question - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Does anyone know if there is a way to have Google books read to me even after I turn off the screen?
Sometimes at work I'd rather listen to a book than music.
And yea I know of the audible app

Dumb question.

Is there any way I can listen to music and watch a video with the video muted and the music playing? And yes I just realized that run on sentence lol.

You like to party too, huh?

I believe the answer is no. tried it, and didn't work for me. But welcome to try.
I don't party much...but I do get hyped for no apparent reason and dance the buffer off the floor. Haha. I guess there is no option for this?

What device? If Android, then yes if the music is the radio. or try using 3rd party apps, one for music one for video.

Amazon mp3 dark screen?

I use amazon mp3 for my music but I hate the white background. Is it possible for anybody out there to modify this? Don't know if I'm posting in the right place or not. Thanks

Huh, nobody has any ideas? My "solution" is just to use Google music and to just re-sync all my amazon cloud music to Google. Not the best plan.

I have missed this feature since my SGS1. I dont think there is any system setting that will change this behaviour, but people have suggested using apps like Stick It and Super Video, Floating & Popup. I havent tried them so dont know if they will accomplish what you want.
PvStar+ on the market works for it

Your Favorite music player?

Can just be an app from the market or a music player ported from another phone like the song Xperia. Thank you

Now Playing and Apollo are pretty good. Though I haven't used a wide range. Just those 2 and Google's.
I use Google music, it's simple and clean and just works. I'm also subscribed to all access so even more reason to use it almost exclusively.

I used Google Music but being in Canada it was for just my music only and found that the cover art was low res and not changeable. I switched to PlayerPro.

Loved Now Playing and Shuttle+, but now using only Google Music since it's very nice looking and I can stream
Poweramp
Songza is pretty sweet. I use player pro for my own music...also a little off topic I found an app the joe rogan experience to download all his podcasts. ..if you've never heard him they are quite funny and very interesting at times.

Mac + Note 2

I have a Mac and getting the music to be organized on my Note 2 is annoying. Is there a simple way like how iTunes is for the iPhone?
Yeah it's called Google play music app. You can just upload your music there and it'll be organized like you want... and save memory on your device for other things..
Don't use ifunes nor Crapple anything, sorry:banghead:

You might just want to Google it. But check here:

The music manger lets you upload what you want then it'll all be in your Google play music account...
