I have some questions regarding the battery graph
When i touch on the battery graph it wil show history details with mobile network signal, gps on,wi-fi and so on.
Mobile network signal shows mostly in green with some red in between where as the rest are all blue. What does these colours indicate?
I flashed XXLH1 radio and only then ive seen this green. Before it used to be blue.
The mobile bar indicates the signal strength, and the other shows how much those features have been used.

so is the green colour good?
Green = full bars, 3 bars = blue, red = 2 bars i guess.

When you go into battery info there is info about your signal strength. What do the different colours mean? I presume green is the best and good, what do all the other colours mean? My battery is best when green. when in low 2g signal area, dark yellow(?) It seems to use more battery as its struggling to hold onto signal?

Green basically means you have a good signal. There are some shades of green, shades of yellow, and then gray, then red. Red means your not connected to your carrier, and you probably are limited to emergency calls (911).
The better your reception, the less power your phone uses. If it can't get a good signal, it increases power and searches for better connections.
Thought that was the case, thanks!

The little lighting bolt indicator is there but the blue does not move on the battery icon like it used to just a stand still.... Don't notice a battery percentage increase when before it did
Here's a screen shot notice the blue just in place it should be filling up

Go to Settings > Power and check the percentage. After 20 minutes, do it again. If the number increase, keep calm and carry on.
Ok so the Note's got Dynamic, Standard, Natural & Movie screen modes (in order of saturation).
Would a more saturated Screen Mode chew up more battery, because you'd think the OLED would require more power to produce a more vivid/saturated image.
I haven't seen it mentioned/discussed anywhere...It might be worth testing out, although I don't know how much of a difference it would really make...
P.s. I'm not talking about the brightness or backlight at all. We all know that makes a BIG difference.
Saturation of colors should NOT make a big difference. (provided overall brightness is the same)
Let me explain with an example :
Red on full saturation only uses the red leds (at full brightness)
While red on 0 saturation uses all 3 colors at much less brightness

I actually kinda put the same question nobody replied to me aha
It was in Q&A section, I thought I put it in the right place... but If its answered here its fine ^
Didn't know that about the screen. Which mode are you guys using? I always have stuck with dynamic.
TBH from 60% to 100% brightness i see NO noticable diffrence in battery life, on LCD and TFT screens brightness does vary the battery life a lot, but on the note 2 it barely shows any difference especially if most your usage involves dark/black backgrounds
I always set my apps to black/dark theme if available.
But maybe this doesnt have any impact on battery life at all and black LEDs still need power?

You do it right, go on setting dark theme because it really helps (i don't know how much but helps) saving battery since in oled screen the led are completely off top get the black colour AFAIK.
Nexus s user/dev bedalus had An epic battery life thread that I'm sure you could find if you googled it (on my phone otherwise I'd post the link). White uses the most battery. Black the least. The most interesting results showed that red used less power than the other colors, so a black/red theme would be best for battery.

Does the phone cut back on the radio power when not in a call? Because most of the time when i go inside my home (single story home, should be pretty transparent as far as cell signal goes) the signal drops down to one or no bars.
But i've noticed a few times that if I make a call, the signal indicator suddenly jumps up to 3-5 bars.
I get a great signal right outside my house - full bars and download speeds are great 50 down and 10 up usually. But as soon as i go in my house, the bars pretty much disappear, and download speeds drop down drastically, usually down to around 1-4meg down
I happen to also have another note 4 from t-mobile and that phone usually has around 4 bars sitting next to my phone which shows 0-1 bars. Unfortunately i can't compare call quality or download speeds with the t-mobile note 4 since it's not on any active plan.
