I recently updated my xs to 6.1.a.2.55. And got some problem with the camera. When I click a photo, the camera gives out of memory exception. But when I check the album, the pic is stored there. This happens when I start the camera from sleep condition using quick launch dedicated key. Other wise it works fine.
Available ram is around 300mb, phone memory available its 1.5gb, internal memory available is 22gb.

Its not a problem, its more of a limitation...just like in camera apps you cant take widescreen photos with max 12MP or 8MP

But it's a stupid limitation, why I can't record videos directly on my usb flash drive? So I could record long videos without my internal storage limitation.. I think it could be solved.. the limitations are root/unroot, locked/unlocked bootloader and install different os but we can do it, why we can't change a stupid folder?

I read conflicting reports that the Jelly Bean updates comes with 685MB free RAM. I also heard of users having 680MB. Personally, I have only 680MB free. What's yours and any idea for the differences?
Sent from my LT28h using xda app-developers app
Of course usable RAM differs in time.
This is usually because GPU and some other stuff use part of the RAM to run.
I have 686mb
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Me to... 686Mb...
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
it could be a bug, i have had 716mb at one point, (ics and jb, ill try to replicate for a screenshot)
200mb =gpu
685=system
139=hardware (drivers blah)
i have 686mb at the moment, i think xs, xas (sl) all have 1gb of ram
Thanks for the input. For some odd reasons, I can only hit maximum 680MB. Locked bootloader.

I think it will be good to make this UNOFFICIAL discussion page for FXP build till they release something on XDA.
Can I flash it over CM11 from PecanCM? or should I do a clean install, with flashing boot.img before?
No... You dont have to do a clean install...
New kernel will be overwrite and everything will work good

fxp309 missing extra Sony camera parameters needed by xperia m camera hal.. temporary solution for camera is replace libcamera_client.so with cm11 beta 3 and don't need clean install if you coming from beta builds

Whether it is worth it depends on the person using it. If you want a system free from the factory bloatware and more control on the system you are using, then surely it is worth it. If you are satisfied with what is in the system then this is definitely not for you and you will be better off without it.
Anyways, you won't void the battery, only the warranty
BTW, this is the S4 Mini forum (C5303 - Sony Xperia SP ??)
Is there way to get back warranty
