Welcome to the Complete Development Index!
What is this?
This guide will act as an index to all the various developments, official and unofficial, that are posted in the Xperia S forum here on XDA-Developers. As the phone gets more popular and developers starting getting more and more creative, this will enable those who are first timers, or seasoned developers, the ability to find what they need- fast.
How often will it be updated?
It'll get updated nearly as soon as something new is posted or updated. If you're a developer or you are posting something that you wish to be included, drop me a PM and I'll hop right on it.
Always check out the date in the thread title to see when it was last updated.
I'm a MOD.
Are you? Cool. Well, maybe you could sticky this at the top of the development forum. It'd help a lot! Also, if you could grant any permissions to me so that I can keep updating this in the future- that'd be great too.
Nice thread, man!
Thanks. I'm just trying to help. Feel free to give me a "thanks" to keep me going, if you like. It'd make me smile! Also, don't forget to thank and help other users here on XDA.

Will do later on. Thanks DooMLord.

Thanks mate helped me out
I'll be honest, I neglected this as it was falling to the bottom originally as no Mods had stickied it, but seeing recent interest I'll give it a go again, in the hope that it is made sticky. There was no point making effort to constantly update it, as I was, for it to be ignored. I love XDA and users, but if it was being forgotten, other users couldn't find it easy, which was my intention of posting it.

Unrooted kernel
Hello,
I need to get my phone to the original state. I used flashtool to lock bootloader. Update through standard sowftware is not working...
Which of these kernels are not with root and I can use it for flash my phone?
Thanks
I may not be able to update as often as I would like to. Is there anybody willing to do this thread. I attached post 1 and post 2 respectively. It's a start.

The One X mod won't be sticking anything else, says the post in his sticky thread.
Whether this thread is sticky or not, it will always be near the top and full of useful information - thanks OP.

well done mate!
It just needs to be in the "Sticky Roll-Up Thread", or as I like to call it the "One Sticky To Rule Them All".
Gets my vote to go in there, anyway. Nice work Syb.
Edit: And now it IS the "One Sticky To Rule Them All".

How to get your ROM/MOD/etc. listed quickly & help people!
How to get your ROM/MOD/etc. listed quickly & help people!
Every day, I search XDA-Developers > One V > One V Android Development for ROMs, MODs, and more to be listed here. And as you'd have probably thought, it takes a while to search for all of these. So I'd really appreciate it if you could make my self-employed job a little easier XD (of course you aren't obligated to, but it helps everyone find your stuff - not just me!)
1. Keep yo' title clean!
Firsly, the way I find ROMs is by using a few search terms. These search terms are:
Title search only - PrimoC
Title search only - CDMA
Title search only - PrimoU
Title search only - GSM
Title search only - ROM
Title search only - KERNEL
Title search only - MOD
Now, as you see by the first bit of this search info, I ONLY search the title. This is because if I searched through the whole of the thread, I'd probably have 99% of the forum in my search results - as most threads have these words inside them somewhere!
But the downside of this way of searching is if you don't have the tag being searched for in the thread title, there is NO WAY of finding the thread with the search term.
You see the problem?
Therefore, if every dev included these tags in their thread name, don't you think everything would be a lot easier to find - not just for me but for everyone else?
Quick example: [PrimoU/GSM] [KERNEL] [21/10/2012] SolidGold 1.4
Tells you: 1. It's for PrimoU device/GSM phones, 2. it's a kernel, 3. when it was last updated, and 4. it's name and version number
2. Put the ROM update date somewhere in the thread or title!
As you can see by my thread, I have to get the date that a ROM/MOD was last updated to put in the thread. This is kind of hard if I can't find it! If you put the last update date in the title, I'll give you 4 internet cookies. If you put it somewhere in the thread, I'll give you 2. If you put it in the changelog, I'll give you 1. This helps EVERYONE - I know when it's updated, people know when there is a new version of their ROM.
3. Use categories, titles, and multiple reserved posts!
If you split all of your information into categories people can easily find the category they need - if they need install instructions they can go to the install instructions section, if they need the changelog they go to that section, and if they need downloads they find the downloads section. Using big titles helps denote these categories (check this thread for example, or the Paranoid Android for GSM thread) helps, as does using multiple posts. If you give someone a link to a different post in the same thread, it's easier for people to find them than having to search through one massive post, right? If you aren't sure if you'll need more posts or not, reserve some!
4. Bump thread when you update your ROM/MOD/etc!
XDA's list of threads is sorted by last posted in. If you bump your thread when you update it, it will go to the top of mine - and everyone's - list of threads on XDA! This means, more people will see your ROM, and when I am checking if your ROM has been updated it's easy for me, because it just shows up on the top of my list of threads!
Plus, XDA rules say you are allowed to bump every 24 HRS. Which is great - I check for updates every 24 HRS
One V forums aren't that crowded either, so you'll probably still be on the front page even after 24HRS XD
Just post a post titled New Update with a changelog in the body. This helps everyone
These tasks don't take long, and they will really help me do my job, as well as - more importantly - help others use and learn about your ROMs! If you don't follow these, I won't be mad, I promise BUT don't be surprised if it takes me a while to find your ROM!
Send me a PM when you release something if you really want to get it listed quickly - otherwise I'll just pick it up at the end of the day (hopefully XD)
Of course, if I missed your ROM or any info is out of order, send me a PM with the details and I'll happily oblige
Please hit Thanks to motivate me to keep working on this Database!
I take no credit for these ROMs/MODs/etc. Thank the devs too

I think if you had them labeled primo u or c, this would be perfect. Thanks for dedicating to this, I hope you're able to keep it updated

Well I did put a PrimoC section - I'm working on it right now.
And I generally go on XDA once a day or so.
Nicely done~
As long as you keep it updated... shall it be stickied? xD

Well if it was stickied, that would be great Hopefully a mod comes across it and decides to.
And I've been thinking about doing this for a while - I'm a flashaholic XD so I should update it daily.

Hey, look at that! You did! Sorry, I guess I missed it. Tapatalk is weird sometimes.
Added a few simple bits of thread etiquette to help make XDA cleaner and my job easier
uhm.. hey...
just a FYI, you need to put up a new section because Paranoid Android 2.23 (GSM) is Android 4.1.2
Thanks!
And I think lloir had already made a thread like c this...check the sticky...

He didn't. The closest is the One V roll up thread by haree, but that only states root methods and guides.

Really, a whole new section? Ok then...
Actually it turns out all but one of the ROMs in the list got updated to 4.1.2, so I guess it is worth a new section.

If anyone can tell me whether ParanoidAndroid JB for PrimoC/CDMA is running Android 4.1, 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 I'd give them a thanks.

What do you mean...
I haven't seen a list of all ROMs and MODs around here... much less heard about a transfer... I got the idea from back when I used the HTC Desire (we had an Everything Desire thread)
Are you talking about the Everything Jellybean discussion or something?
Link plz

to all the ops in the respective thread
1. Good job
2. Deserves to be sticky in general
3. Unlocked bootloader with 4.3 can be rooted (downgrading is pain in arse)
4. We know that 6502/3 stock/rom works on each other still it is not advisable to do
For example consider me (globaly recognized noob) flashed it wrongly i know its ally mistake but they will blame you cause you advised them
5. We have one thread like this so ask mods to merge that and this thread to avoid confusion
6. You missed all spark's AOSP kernel, 78kernel.
7. You missed hell lot of things
8. Nuts recovery is good one
9. The cwm you linked is for unlockedbootoader only
10. There are two cm from fxp and cm both have same source but different release pattern so provide link to threads
11. Add work in progress in title so you can sort everything out
No offense just helping you to sort things out if you need my help throw me a PM.
Add a faq section below my post or you can use my post so everything is in line.
You tried to do something helpful so kudos

Advanced stock kernel 4.3 FW .101
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2641695
Hi guys,
here's BEANSTALK, gee/geeb version, built just today. Includes by default jollaman999's kernel v10 with stock camera drivers ported. Geeb users, install the ROM and then a geeb mod kernel.
I'm sure you know the ROM so I'll keep this thread nice and simple.
ROM review by someone on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3BaZpZIzKI
DOWNLOADS
Build 1 - 09 29 2014 - MEGA / Google Drive / Mediadrive
I'll update this once a week, guaranteed.
Official changelog (seems to be outdated) - http://www.scotthartbti.com/index.php/beanstalkbuilds/
Known issues:
- Bootanimation doesn't cover all screen (don't know why, during building the ROM I used the file with the correct resolution)
- If wifi discovery isn't working on first boot, go in to wifi advanced settings, change region and change it to your location again. Then turn off wifi and then on again.
- NFC toggle doesn't work on first boot. Just reboot the phone.
- Lockscreen statusbar isn't transparent, sorry, can't do anything about it, it's beanstalk beahviour.
Thanks go to:
- Beanstalk
- Jollaman999 for his wonderful kernel
- Faust93 for his work on porting the camera
another nice job Thanks mate,
