Android Revolution HD 5.1.4 no Battery Stats

Hey there,
Android Revolution HD 5.1.4 is a very good ROM,
but after flashing that Rom,
i cannot open battery history.
When i try to open Battery History with Spare Parts:
it shows:
"Could not find Battery stats activity in your Rom!
Connact developer for more info!"
Can anybody help me?
Without Battery History, i cannot celibrate my battery.

Have you tried going into the directory to find the file? I always use root explorer and go to Data>System and delete the file manually.
If the file exists, there may be a possibility sparepart is not compatible with the rom. It FC when I install it on my phone

Afaik, Spare Parts wasnt fully compatible with gingerbread, maybe it is now, I am not sure, but you should double check that.
Why dont you use the battery history in settings?

What do you mean same problem?
Once you delete the file, that should be it. Your battery is calibrated. Of course you need to make sure you are fully charged (0mA current widget) before you delete it. The effect of the calibration can be felt usually after a few cycle of charging. Some even noticed it immediately.

i will try it.
Fully Charged, then delete the file.

As far as I know this still the case with Gingerbread ROMs.

Is that what Recovery > wipe battery stats does? Or does it perform some other function?

That's exactly the same thing

so i fully charged my battery
until current widget showed "0 mA"
i restarted in bootloader and wipe battery stats.
and rebooted, but the same problem still here.

There is an app that replaces it but I cant remember the name. Its in the DHD forum somewhere."

Let me get this straight, you want the battery history to do calibration of the battery, correct? The steps you did in the quote is actually battery calibration already, so do you still need battery history?
It is true also that Gingerbread no longer provide battery history. Last time in Froyo I remember to be able to see partial wake etc. But now the only battery usage we can get is from Setting > About Phone > Battery Use

how will i know if my battery is calibrated correctly???
i mean..i flash roms ,maybe 2-6 times in a week..i guess...depending on updates..
doo calibration everytime...(sometimes...calibrated and flash new rom)

well u cant know dat ur battery is calibrated or not.. bt u can improve the accuracy by clearing the battery stats in cwm menu.. try searching for a 3rd party app.. Btw dont be so concerned abt it.. its always correct 99%

when you install a new rom and wipe /data your system is automatically recalibrate your battery. you don't need to do that manually

Yes, even at 1%.

but check recover mode i can charge 100%
but boot sense it stop 99%

99% is very close to 100% is almost 100%
I do not think is is a huge problem ....

Agreed.
Have u tried resetting battery stats in recovery? I think I remember seeing that. Never really used it.

you can wipe the battery status.

How do i clear the batter stats through twrp. I believe id vet more from my phone if i could do that, couldnt find it on my own term?

By using Google...not to bust your balls but try to search first ...plenty of info out there already..this goes for the rest of the nubs as well...ull get your answer 100% faster..search tool is your friend :beer:

Just my 2 cents here. But I read a post a while back by a very respected dev (adrenalyn) that's it's always good practice to flash a new rom and a fully charged battery. Then fully deplete and fully charge uninterrupted. Since doing that I have not had to reset battery stats ever and have always had no problems. S with battery life. Of course there everyone says different things. But this is just my experience.

The answer is that TWRP doesn't wipe battery stats, and you don't need to do it.

I read the tweet I saw in my Google search results and saw that power off at full charge accomplished what I wanted, had idle drain and changed a couple things and wanted to monitor the changes.

boot into TWRP recovery
/advanced/File Manager/
folder /data/system/
click batterystats.bin
click Delete
reboot system

ME TOO or I no figure out,
BUT when I click delete as suggested it does just what I thought it would, IT deleted the file called wipebatt whatever it was calledr it was called!
SO now its gone and I can't do it.
I know someone said I couldent but that kinda pissed me off!
better to be pissed off than pissed on I guess, but I felt pissed on! careful what instructions you follow to a T I guess

I have HTC ONE M7 T-Mobile. Just put brand new battery in it.
1. Phone is on - battery shows %41
2. Go in TWRP - battery shows %25 >> I wipe cache and then >> Turn phone back on - battery shows %25
3. Phone is off and I plug it in to charge - battery shows %74
4. Go in TWRP - battery shows %71
5. Turn phone on - battery shows %74
6. Go in TWRP - battery shows %75 >> wipe cache
7. Phone on - battery shows %75
I'm listening to you guys what you think? Why I had those differences? Should I do it again and how often to make sure there won't be anymore like this cause I had times when phone is at %29, I take a photo, it turns off.
Keep in mind that all this had happened with my original battery as well.

Facing the exact same problem with my Nokia XL. I've searched and tried for almost every method and app related to calibration and fix but nothing seems to work out.

What if I`m having the same issues and this folder does not exist here?

Battery charging only in ap fastboot
Hi,
My moto g4 plus discharge when connected to any charger including the original charger and only recharges in ap fastboot mode that too very slow and sometimes doesn't recharge at all but when it start getting charged it take around a whole day to get charged upto 100%.The original charger seems ok as it recharges other mobiles.
I have also hardbriked my hand set while trying to find a solution. Thanks to @siddhesh9146 [GUIDE] Moto G4 Plus HardBrick SOLVED - ULTIMATE UNBRICKING GUIDE. But My battery problem remains the same.

Nougat Battery Life [HTC 10]

I updated to Nougat couple of days ago at firmware 2.41.400.5 stock rom
Battery issues was huge to me and couldnt find out why, can anyone help me to identify why my phone was awake overnight? It happens even in safe mode.. ><"
Will be glad if anyone could help or suggest anything, did a cache partition wipe and reset from recovery after the update.

These are some additional stats from GSAM battery

Mine is definitely shorter, but not as yours. And no issue like the OS huge consumption. I saw some other guys have the same.
I used to get 6h+ screen on time, now is less than 4h30.

Sorry man, I don't know. I'd say a hard reset, but that works 50-50 for the users who ran into the issue.

It's kernel issue and I have same issue on all rom (custom and stock) and factory reset, custom kernel don't help me.
Ohio_wakelock - kernel wakelock. I think it's hardware problem.

I had this issue both before and after i upgrade to nougat, but anyway, what I did was I let the battery drain the same way it does for about 1 week and recharge it every single time. I think after that the battery sets and now the battery life is pretty awesome during idle, less than 1% drain sometimes overnight, less than 5% if wifi is on. Perhaps just be patient. I doubt its a software problem.
