Go to developer options and make sure force gpu rendering is checked and change the animation scale all to 0.5
See if that helps

I'm not experiencing this issue, but I'm using jedi x9 not master.

I am using adw launcher and its far better than stock launcher.
I think you select scrolling speed very low on adw setting thats why its little bit slow responsive. Change it and try it . Its under General Behavior inside animation and effects.

It seems to work. But is it just me or does the touch sensitivity decrease after doing this.
Yeah I noticed this too. If you open the app drawer and immediately swipe to the 2nd page of apps, there's a minor lag. Very annoying though!
Tried the trickster method but no luck

Using Apex. No lag on first open or scroll.

I really love the ripple effect of the lock screen for the SGS3. Am I able to use it with a different wallpaper (other than stock)? It won't let me select ripple, because I'm using a different picture, but it's not a LWP. Does ripple effect only work with the preselected, stock wallpapers?

Yeah, I'm running XquiziT v26. I couldn't get it to work when it was not rooted and stock, also.

Im on v26 as well. So youve never had it working??? Thats just odd.
In lock screen options are you certain you have ripple effect checked?

Weird thing is:
It was blacked out, but I found out why. I was using a third-party application to set my home screen/lock screen wallpaper. For some ought reason, the phone confused the static pictures with live wallpaper. So, I saved one of the wallpapers and opened it in a photo viewer and set it as my backdrop. Sure enough, when I checked, the "ripple effect box" was no longer grayed out.

So I'm sure on all gs3s the landscape to portrait or portrait to landscape is quite slow for everything or mostly all apps is there a way to make it faster? It's just too sluggish for my liking
Like how it is on the other phones?
I'm on stock 4.0.4

Just want to ask fellow xda members for help and opinion. Im using the same picture on my homescreen and lock screen but I have noticed that the quality of the picture on the lockscreen is nit as clear or as sharp as the one on my home screen even though im using the same picture. Any ideas?

Most likely you have the "Ripple Effect" enabled, just go into lock screen settings and disable it.

Ive tried the method u told me and it does help a bit, still not as clear as if I use the picture as home screen but better that if I have the ripple effect on. Thanks for the great advice.
