I don't think you'll get anyone to do that. A nandroid backup creates an image of the phone at a specific time. It has all the apps and data saved with it. It's not really something transferable. It can also be gigs in size (mine are about 1.2GB), so they're not easily shared.

Hello, everyone
Is there any (easy) way to transfer app data from a rooted HTC Desire to an unrooted HTC One?

Use app called Helium, as it also works for non-rooted devices
Backup your data from your Desire to PC, then use the same app to transfer data from PC to One. I've not used it myself, but should work. Read the developer page / thread for more info, I'm sure it's possible.
Enjoy your One!

Hello,
New to the forum with hopefully a simple question.
I acquired a pre-rooted HTC One V from a friend with Rhythmic ROM 1.4 installed.
It had been factory reset but still had their number on the phone. Using Dev mode to Factory Reset I was still brought to the Language/Google/Phone choices but the end result is that the same number is still in phone info and the Activate icon/App is missing. The phone doesn't seem to recognize ##VIRGIN# as a shortcut either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Boot the phone to recovery and see if you have the stock Nandroid Backup.

It didn't come with a MicroSD so I'm left with what's on the phone.
I'm hoping I wont have to dig up the CID and RUU or anything. Is there a simple method to stock this phone?
HTC One V / Virgin Mobile / Version 4.2.2
if it helps
I recently gave mine to my mom, what has to be done is, switch to a stock ROM (pm me if you need one, I've built one completely stock that works fine) have your friend call and cancel his account. I've been with cricket for a while and I still needed to cancel my account for my mom to switch hers to it. lastly, you'll need to call virgin to activate. just make sure your friend cancels the account.

After copying TWRP, 4.4.3, stock backup files to a memory stick, I notice some of the files sizes are slightly different. Only by a few kb's.
Copied directly to memory stick from phone because in the past I've noticed that if you copy to, windows, laptop and then to stick, some files "disappear".
Question is...... can anyone tell me why files sizes are slightly different AND, bearing that in mind, is it safe to delete backup from phone ?
Thanks

It's likely only how Windows vs android is calculating the size.

Ok, cheers.
Best thing to do to be sure, is try restoring with one of them. Wouldn't want to find out they are corrupt when you really need them.
Just be sure you have an untouched backup on your device, before restoring from the copied over one.

Hello Developers,
I have succesfully rooted my HTC One M9 so i could get rid of the unwanted apps. In the progress of deleting those unwanted apps I accidently removed htcMobileData.apk which is why i can't use my bundle data, I can only be online when i'm on WiFi. Is there any way to undo my mistake? I already tried to restore the htcMobileData.apk in the Systemappremover app but it didn't work.
I really hope you can help me with this.
Kind regards,
Hesselnl
Presuming you're s-off, you'll need to reflash back to stock as the checksum won't match.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

It's status is S-ON. Does this change something I should do?

Glad to hear it brother!
Remember, if all else fails just flash a stock RUU and your device will be like new. It does suck having to get it the way you want it again, but at least it works.
