Has anyone tried to use the app to flash kernels? Don't think the device is listed but wanted to know if it would work. Thanks
You could be our beta tester lol. As long as all it does is flash the boot IMG it shouldn't mess anything up.

I would not risk it
u mess the kernel ur phone is ****ed
Sent from my One V using xda premium
Shouldn't be too bad. All you have to do is reboot into fast boot and flash a kernel to fix. But use caution always, no matter what you do to your phone.

Tried this but the app says it's not made for the one v and doesn't let you do anything, so no go sorry

Evening all
When you flash a new kernel do you lose all your data ie do you go back to factory reset.
Thanks

Sure remember to repack boot if needed and flash the modules!!
Sent from my One X using xda premium
I saw XM kernel is good. You can flash it as no need repack, just with sense rom
Mr hofs linked me to the modules and not to try
So will give it a go

No. If you ain't rooted you cannot alter system files. Period.
Or you can go the hardware route and open your phone and check the connectors, don't need root for that.
Opened mine up put some tin foil in and now I'm getting full bars where I didn't before.

Wasn't for me. I always root lol

That will depend on the situation. If it's hardware return to warranty for exchange. And if software wait for the fix by htc or root and enjoy.
