Hi guys
I`m using Codename Android 3.8 version though, still missing Power Widget function on CNA 3.6.6.
So I just brought settings.apk and systemui.apk from CNA 3.6.6 and merged to CNA 3.8.
But as you see, I brought those files from 3.6.6, I can use or set the 3.8.0`s setting even it is android 4.1.2.
And sometimes it cause some problem about wifi on/off and i cant go to phone settings like CDMA/WCDMA.
So I want to merge power widget on 3.8.0 by decompiling and building sources.
Because, to me AOKP Toggle is too inconvinent.
but I don`t know how to build or decompile or analyze the sources and xml.
If you guys can help or tell me how to do that, I feel really appreciate.
I still like android 4.1.2 and 4.2.1 is not my favorite. that`s why I want to modify CNA 3.8.0.
thank you for reading this.

I'm running the alpha build 3 ROM w/3.0 kernel that hash put out and I am trying to incorporate the quick settings from the reloaded ROM.
I don't know if quick settings is the correct term, I am talking about the settings in the lower right corner on the software buttons that bring up the option to turn on wifi, brightness, bt etc.
I swapped systemui.apk and I lost software buttons, so i swapped the systemui.apk, framework-res.apk and framework.jar and it wont boot.
help
If I'm not mistaken, the framework-res and systemui on the current ICS roms are built from the Gingerbread tree. For Hashcode's rom they are made specifically for ICS. Depending on your skill level you could download Hashcode's source and edit it yourself. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for the developers to start working on their versions.

Thanks for the reply.
As title said, I want to add CM toggles to SystemUI.apk of android 4.2, but after searching alot I wasn't able to found anything.. Could someone explain it to me or link a tutorial ?
Thanks.
You need to build from source to do this i believe.

You'd need to merge their commits into your own source fork and build it.
I'm not the auther and don't have all the information on this so I'm posting this is general discussion. I haven't seen posts about this on xda or rootzwiki unless I've gone blind. I was only able to find a few results in google on its release and basically just stumbled upon it while I was browsing liquidsmooth dev folder through goo.im. I flashed it today with BaNkS' JDQ39 4.2.2 gapps, specifically the minimal ones so I could keep the CM gallery and camera, but the other ones should work that include photosphere and gallery3d and stuff.
[TORO/VZW only: This release still comes with the 4.2.1 gpu binaries for toro/VZW, so I tested 4.2.1 kernels like fancy r6-4.2.1, ak-dummy-678, tinykernel 2.7, GLaDOS 2.1, franco r361, and the stock kernel which is a liquidsmooth custom 3.0.31. You can update the gpu binaries to 4.2.2 using the cwm .zip link in my signature. -Thanks to tiny4579 for putting that together- With the 4.2.2 toro binaries flashed, all 4.2.2 kernels should work. I tested fancy r6 4.2.2, ak-pirates-700, ak-purity 23, franco r365, faux123's 026b01, and GLaDOS 2.2.]
This version of liquidsmooth comes loaded with a myriad of customizations and advanced settings. A few highlights are Per-App DPI settings, custom autobrightness levels (20 brightness levels), navbar ('last app' toggle, navring, navbar widgets), kernel performance settings, powerwidget in notifications, quicksettings, powermenu, proflies, lockscreen w/ 8 targets, uses Nova launcher, lots of really specific useful useful settings liquidsmooth style. As usual performance and battery are great, stock kernel was acting somewhat jerky but fancy r6 stock is working wonderfully. *The 'lockscreen' tab in settings won't open for me, causes settings to crash. cLock settings can be accessed in 'interface' tab though. Definitely worth checking out!
Downloads: rom for toro, toroplus, maguro; BaNk's gapps; for Verizon: gpu binaries update(to use 4.2.2 kernels if you want)
status 6
I've tried to install this ROM for maguro, but it shown error Status 6. I don't know why. I've tried to download again and reinstall, but it shonw the same error.

You want mods added to a ROM? Editing a current ROM is a horrible way to go about it when you have all this source code laying around. There is currently a help thread in this nexus forum explaining EXACTLY what you want.

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to get the paranoid android colors feature where status and nav bar colors change based on the app you are in on AOKP rom. I know I could use a hybrid rom but that is the one feature that I want outside of AOKP. I did some searching but found nothing. Would I be able to install the paranoid preferences apk or does the feature depend on something in the rom?
i join your question
you cant do this , cause even with PAPref Apk , you need to change framework files which might take away AOKP stuff , your best bet is to use PAC , it uses ParanoidAndroid AOKP and CM , meaning all features of 3 roms is in .

Is there a way I can test what AOKP features would be compromised by editing framework files? Or would it just ruin the whole system framework?
This isn't exactly the same but may be a option to consider.
