My Xperia Ion lt28h Screen looks really yellowish. every thing looks very warm and yellowish.
But my friends Xperia Ion which was bought 2 weeks later, dose not have this issue, its nice and white is white, not yellow like mine,
Even my sister Xperia Go looks nice, compared to mine. Really disappointed.
Is it a Software issue? cause sometimes i have noticed when launching a app for a fraction of a second screen is pure white, but quickly yellow overlay is cumming..
But i turned off the BE and even re flashed a different FW. But no change..
Please help.
It's probably the yellow screen issue, known at SXS and Ion,it's a hardware issue I think, you should replace it with a new unit...

So its comes to Ion as well i thought only in SXS.
ion yellow screen issue
i go t the same issue........sony making double standard screen........one for asia and one for rest of the world.........the quality is very cheap for asia........
but u can make ur white colour normal with using colour adjuster app......easily available on play store
The quality for Xperia ion screen is supposed to be that,if Sony use much higher quality one,it would be expensive...my Xperia mini pro screen is crispy white screen without yellow or warm problem, but the price is kiddingly expensive

My arc s is displaying a more yellowish tinge to the white that should be displayed. Its not alot but its noticeable and annoying. is this an arc trait or a problem?
I have seen that this was a Gingerbread issue with the Update to 2.3.3 with the nexus S. Google changed the color temp and it had a yellow tone instead of a cool temp
First of all, that phone has just been released so might take time for responses for issues, secondly, don't start a new thread on the exact same issue because no one has responded to the first.

Well do you have an arc? instead of *****ing tell me if your screen displays warmer colours.
Sent from my LT18i using XDA App
Yes. My Arc has such gamut too. I think that all Arcs look the same. Latest Sony tablets have yellowish tint too. I suppose they think that such color temperature produces more natural colors when watching media content. In comparison to X10 they changed not only color temperature but gamma too. Thus midtones look brighter. First week of owning Arc I was feeling some kind of discomfort but now I got used to it.
Thanks for that reply. I too really didn't like it after upgrading from my x10 but now I'm used to it and think it makes colours pop, its brilliant. If it's normal for an arc then all is good and ill stop worrying about it.

Looking at my x10 and ipod touch 4 their screens look too cool, dry almost blue Haze. Extremely happy with arc now

First of all I'm not "*****ing", I'm simply telling ya not to double post to force a response, and if I did have the issue I would have stated.
My original post was worded in a way that made it confusing. I didn't know how to remove a thread. Isn't that up to the moderator? I got an answer from this thread and am more than happy for both threads to be removed. Cheers

Maybe same with my arc, its a little yellowish when brightness is set to 0%... But that not a big problem for me... Arc's LCD are the best for watch movie...

Hello Arc fellows
Is there any mod to add Touch bottuns for Xperia Arc (home, back and menu bottuns) on gingerbread.
I think Arc would be amazing if it had those bottuns coz its bottuns really sucks.
Thank you guys.
Only available for ICS and why waste some space of the screen?!

Arc has a tall screen I think we can use some space of it, I had galaxy s before and the touch buttons were too easy to use, I'll try to install ICS mod.
It's not the same, but there's an app called Buttonsavior. I used it on my old phone, which had cheap plastic buttons that made noise whrn pressed.

In the top right above the LCD Screen to the right of the Front Facing Camera, there is a small LED that is pretty hard to see if it is not lit.
When you plug in your charger, it will be Red, for me notifications make it blue
Yes, you can customize the LED color. Check the themes and apps section. I posted a thread about it.

Anyone know how to get the LED to glow with more intensity ? I can barely see the freaking light color !! My Xperia S LED is at least 5 times brighter.

Most of the tweaks under one roof and optimized for all ROMS.
It is pretty good.
There is a few tweaks possible moat of witch are posted in themes and apps. These will be the only possible for now untill the devs het started on custom time and kernels.
I have noticed and used system ui tweaks(status bar widgets) , there are some themes and led mods. As well o have posted a few boot animations and more will be comming soon.
My boot animation thread:

Its my simple question just to clear a doubt,
Is Acro S's LCD different from that of the new ZL ..???
Because i find the Acro S's more contrast, but my ZL's is some what greyish when max at brightness..
Aren't both using LCD, or otherwise is Acro S using LED backlit ..???
Yes they are different, but they are both using LED backlight,.
They are similar in same ways though

My galaxy grand has a big screen issue. Its colour saturation has decreased a bit over time and now my colours on the screen do not look vibrant and saturated (Eg. Grass looks faded, sky and water also looks faded ). I have confirmed this problem by testing my phone with two more galaxy grands which I have at my home. I compared same pictures and wallpapers with all the three phones and their colours look a little bit more saturated and vibrant than my phone. The colour difference is small but is noticeable and that bugs me. Is this my phone's problem or does this jappen by using a phone too much over time?? Also I also advise you guys to compare your grands with other grands if you have any to compare your colours. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for reply but this problem is there on all roms, cm and also touchwiz. I am right now on carbon but when i was in touchwiz i unticked those options but nothing happened. I also frequently flash stock rom before going to another rom but still nothing...
Try tweaking the colors with an app called Screen Adjuster...If tweaking the saturation doesn't work, then it might be some hardware problem...

I know about that hardware problem. It's present in every grand and gets cleared by reboot but my problem is different. The colours have generally become a little bit less saturated than a normal grand's screen. The difference is less but is noticeable when i compare same pictures. Nonetheless, thanks for the reply
