[Q] Problem with installin PAC man ROM v15 - HTC One V

Hi,
Virgin Mobile USA HTC One V 1.08.652.6
***UNLOCKED***
PRIMOC PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.53.0000
RADIO-1.00.00.0521_2
eMMC-BOOT
May 14 2012,20:27:38
I tried to update it to "PACman v15.3 primoc inyourface" .I have already used it once,It worked like charm. But needed to switch back to stock sense for a while. But while trying to install the same (PACman v15.3 primoc inyourface).I did the following things.
1.Flashed the ROM
2.Wiped The data/factory reset
3.used "fastboot boot boot.img" from cmd
Then it will boot into the OS and will work fine. But when i try to reboot the device it doesn't boot up.Its stuck in bootloop showing "PACMAN" screen. And again i have to use "fastboot boot boot.img" each time i reboot the device.
Were have i gone wrong ?
Need a little "HELP" here guys
Thanks in Advance

Haha u did a classic mistake.

Thanx It worked..thanx a loott!!!
I'm kinda noob in this. Can you tell me the difference between the two?
'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
'fastboot boot boot.img'
when are these used ?

fastboot boot boot.img is something which just temporarily flashes the kernel for one boot.if rebooted, then will have to flash again for every boot.that is not a command its a mistake.its not used specifically for any reason.

One X Rommed NEED HELP!!

Okay so I rommed my phone with CM10 Rom and then every time i reboot it, it needs to go to the computer and do the boot boot.img thing
Is there any way without doing that?
Hi mate, there is a way of doing it so that re-booting doesn't need re-flash.
I would suggest doing some searches before posting !
Here is a link to a VERY handy tool-kit to speed up the process if it continues:

Do it again but this time flash the modded boot.img that you can download in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085803
Its modded to work with the higher hboots.
Check the link and the pages you see it in there

It only works on tbalden's CM10. Other AOSP roms have their own solutions for hboot incompatibilities.
@sensation lover
Are you flashing 4.1.2 aokp or v4.2.1?
The 4.2.1 version should work with all hboots out of the box.
If you want the 4.1.2 version, search their thread for the modded boot, it should be mentioned in the OP at least.

**Stuck in Bootloops, Cant Pass the HTC welcome Screen
ok, calm down, everyone has this problem while flashing, i get it so many times, they can cause by the following reasons
bad flash
wrong rom
you forgot to flash the kernel
wrong kernel
messed up the order in flashing
ok,
1.Bad flash-this occurs if the .zip file is corrupted
solution:= re flash the ROM, if still no, download the file again and try
2.wrong ROM- u may have downloaded a ROM that is not for ur device or a ROM which is of not ur description
for example u might me a PRIMO C device/CDMA and u downloaded a PRIMO U/GSM ROM
3.Wrong Kernel-Kernel is the link between ur software and hardware, if u flash the wrong one like the case mentioned above , download the correct one and re flash
4.[ FLASHING YOUR KERNEL SHOULD BE THE LAST STEP][UNLESS U HAVE A S-OFF DEVICE]

flashing a kernel should be the 1st step mate.. soo u can directly go into recovery after kernel flashing and then proceed with rom and gapps flashing... how on earth are you supposed to go to fastboot from recovery ehh? 1st booting than fukn waiting on the boot screen...
all this voids if u use twrp still.. flashing kernel 1st is highly recommended always and everywhere

I hope I get a fairly quick response to this Followed some advide in that thread, flashed a kernel (I thought) using the All In One Tool, ever since, I've been stuck in a bootloop. Obviously I have access to my bootloader and TWRP (thankfully). My recovery backup returns the same results though.
Im new to this so I'll try toprovide all the info I can.
Followed the TUT on how to Unlock Bootloader and Root 2 days ago.
Yesterday, using the All In One tool, flashed TWRP onto phone.
Was unable to Flash AOKP JellyBean 4.1.2 so I asked for help again (ROM was flashed, but stuck on Initiating Swagger Boot)
Tried using All-In-One to flash (what I thought was) a kernel, since then, my phone just boots continuously or not at all (depending on if I wipe or whatnot)
While at work, I was able to Flash the AOKP rom and Boot into it, but after about 1 minute of use, it reboots.
This is where I'm at now.
My bootloader says
***UNLOCKED***
PRIMOC PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.57.0000
RADIO- 1.00.05.0929
eMMC-boot
Jun 18 2012, 10:22:43
I'm using the latest version (2.3.3.) of TWRP
Is there anyway I can find, and delete, the boot.img I flashed with All-In-One, that caused this bootloop?
Thanks again for helping.
