I bought a Crazyondigital case bundled with 3 extra cords for my Note (12 V, USB and longer wall plug). I setup a large Suncatcher portable solar charger made for laptops (unfortunately they haven't been made for a while) and tried out the 12V charger and am happy to report it works, as does the two other cables. (The wall charger actually is longer and charges more quickly than the Samsung wall charger.)

$1.50 shipped. I am still hoping to find clear silicone plugs..
THere is a good reasn vast majority of new phones don't have sliders or built in covers for the micro usb, and NOTHING with a 3.5mm jack attempts to cover it. Not neccisary, I've never had a phone have ANY issues in either of those ports due to pocket lint.
Plus where you gonna put the plugs when you use those ports 5 times a day.
I Just finished my custom car dock for my Nexus 5 with a built in, hardwired Qi charger. I ended up using the Aduro U-GRIP Plus and a Nokia DT-900. The end product is sturdy, beautiful and works like a charm. I wrote a detailed How-To on my blog (http://crumpspot.blogspot.com/2013/12/wireless-qi-charging-car-dock-for-my.html) with build pictures as well, but here are a few finished shots.

My desktop dock needs to be upgraded soon. Still rocking a little origami.
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on this badass new 4 port charger I just got. It has 2 1A ports and 2 2.1A ports. It really helped to clean up my nightstand and lets me charge all my toys at once. Really high quality, so for the $20 asking price it's a no brainer. Definitely gets the MetalHead stamp of approval. Bump. You guys want this, trust me. :good:
Where the charger has difficulty staying in the wall because there's too much weight on this long charger.
Anyone got this 1st world problem?
I had this problem with my Nexus 6P charger, I basically bent the prong a little and made it wider...
No problem in Europe
Well, in Europe we have wall sockets which actually hold the thing you plug into it tightly. Never had any problems with my charger.
Youd be doing well to bend the prong, do your power sockets/outlets look like this:

if so then there should be no problem with it falling out of the socket
Looking for a dock for my desk where I can set the phone onto the USB C port on the dock and it can transfer data to my computer.
Any suggestions?
All I see are wireless docks.
I used this on my Oneplus 7 Pro, it also supports Warp Charge
