Root problem with mac using heimdall - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi folks,
i've tried to root my brand new galaxy note 2 but have a problem here.
I've made the root following these instructions ( i'm on mac osx ) :
http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-on-mac-osx/
Heimdall does make it to 100%, but then i can restart in CWM mode ( when i try to,the screen goes all jumbled up )
I've tried all the battery pull indicated in this tuto, but still doesn't work.
I'm running DLL7, and i think it's because of this ( according to this post :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2090522 )
Any solution ? i'm kind of lost
Thanks

If the problem comes from the Custom ROM , the ideal would be to flash the stock ROM using LG Flash Tool (2014)
Here the thread where I downloaded the stock ROM I am using now: [LG G3] Android Marshmallow discussions
There are many tutorials and videos on Youtube. So you can try to flash it.
You will lose root but if you really want it, you can use this tutorial to root the stock Marshmallow: Root + TWRP Marshmallow D855 (30b)
Try this and please tell me if it solves your problem or not .
what i downloaded is also a stock ROM
no sorry the computer wont recognize My phone and the phone wont go to download Mode
i tried to plug out the battery and connect the Phone to Pc he recognize him but says there is trouble connection
so Waiting some hlep Guys

Potential downgrade issues ( from 5.1.1 to 4.4.2 )

Hello,
Since we are all still stuck with this partially functional root on our dearly beloved SM-N7505 on 5.1.1 , i started considering downgrading it to 4.4.2 ( last version i had root fully functional on ) .
I wanted to know if there are any risks I might come across during the process and what should I do before hand
P.S : One of my friend lost his IMEI due to the downgrade on a Galaxy S3 (which was a pain on the ass to fix)
Any info are welcome, i need to know as much as possible before i proceed
Many thanks

NO bro there will be no problem to downgrade, just download rom zip file from here - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N7505/ and follow the steps :-
1. Extract (unzip) the firmware file
2. Download Odin v3.10.7 (http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3_v3.10.7.zip)
3. Extract Odin ZIP file
4. Open Odin v3.10.7
5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
6. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
7. Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
9. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
congratulations you have downgraded your mobile!

no problem in downgrading from 5.1.1 to 4.4.2. but you should remember that after flashin 4.4.2, you may need to enter recovery, and wipe data + cache, or else you may face bootlogo stuck

GT N7100 no start error. No recovery. No Logo

Hello. I have been using Note 2 GT N7100 for over 3 years now. Have rooted the phone and was running a Crdroid custom ROM on it. It did not give me any problem. Nor did I update the ROM since it was running good.
Suddenly yesterday it got stuck on the Samsung logo. Tried restarting it, but it didn't move ahead of the logo.
Today, it shows a grey and white screen. Fully blurred and can't see the Samsung logo too.
Tried going into the recovery mode, but same grey screen appears.
If I take it in download mode, it goes there. But when I try to install any stock ROM, it doesn't work. It shows failed in Odin.
Please help what can be the possible problem?
If any more information is needed, I will provide it.
Any ROM to install or custom recovery?
Please guide what to do?
Also, I am sorry if there is already some post like this. Please let me know
Thanks in Advance!

My phone is stuck on the boot logo and I need to fix it... (I'm a bit noobish..)
I've had already downloaded those files but i'm not sure that there are the correct files to use in the step 4 of this tutorial (Recovery Package/ROM).
- N7100XXUFND3_N7100OXAFND3_N7100XXUFND3_HOME.tar.md5
- N7100XXUFND3_N7100OXAFND3_XEF.zip

Bootloop after root

hey guys , after unlocking the bootloader i tried to root my g4 H815 with TWRP recovery 2.8.... , the recovery said that it worked , unfortunately after rebooting the device , i got a bootloop , tried to back up using the "Send_Command" interface via cmd because i really need the data , but i keep getting the FAIL message , i can't even flash the stupid device , it indeed starts the flashing process according to download mode , but everything disappers after about 2 seconds , i'm sure i have correct usb drivers , it's like the phone's write protected , anybody please help me

Are you able to be in the download mode for some time? Try to use DLM backup using lglaf to backup all your partitions.

I would find the stock firmware that you where on and try to flash lgup or flash tool and start again you will lose data but device will be working. And remember to always backup before hand.
First of all thanks a lot as your method perfectly worked , i just have another question out of curiosity if you don't mind , altough LGUP did work of course , i recently noticed that if you don't already have the Google account already registered on the device , and precisely on Lollipop and above , there's absolutely no way you would boot up your phone , i wonder if there's a way to bypass that Google Verification thing !
and just for reference , LG UP doesn't entirely flash the device , it just .... , you know , like just replacing the old firmware without deleting the data , LG FLASH TOOL 2014 doesn't work either , it doesn't even start the flashing process regardless of the firmware , so it's not an option .
