I'v searched all over cant find an answer . how do you map the ps3 six axis conteoller to work with Nba 2K13 ? i already have the controller connected wirelessly using the six axis app and am able to control asphault 7, Dead trigga, Mc4 and a bunch of emulators via downloded sixaxis touch profiles, natively, and in app mapping , but i cannot find a touch profile for Nba2k13 for N7 , nor do i see oprions to map keys . can ay one help or steer me in the right direction
p.s. i tried taking a screen shot and opening it n the sixaxis toch profile editor , but cant figure how to make buttons on top of it and what butons to put etc.... if can figure this out and make my own profile i will definitely share as im sure someome else can use it. if anyone else has made one could you please share it with me . thanks in advance
***Update**** I figured out how to make buttons ontop of the screen shot ... i save the map in sixaxis and choose it but the buttons dont work in Nba2k13 and the analog stick only works in 1 direction ...
so as u see guys i am getting close and i am trying... its not like im just sitting back asking for a hand out. so if anyone sees this and can help me get a working mapping going id really appreciate it .. and again if i get this working i'll be sure to share ...

Here's a link to a profile in the Transformer forums. The screen resolution of the Tf300 is 1280 x 800 so it may work. Credit to the OP and creator, jgaf. If it works give him thanks.

Thank you so much for sending the profile . i loaded it and tested ... the controller is connected, its controlling a bunch of other games just fine... but when i try to play nba2k 13 its doing the same thing the profile i tied to make does. left analog stick only going up / up+right and the buttons not working and the X and O buttons act as "back and select buttons" exiting out the game
any further help getting this working. would greatly be appreciated . if not you've done more than enough already . thanks

if you mean actually trying to play the game yeah ... and FYI im using an official sony ps3 sixaxis dual shock 3 controller from a ps3 . no knockoffs or bootleg lookalikes off ebay . lol ..... every other game i tried works with the mappings for them this the only one that wont

more info if it helps . im on 4.1.2 Cm 10 rom, faux 123 kernel , bluetooth works good. official ps3 wireless fully charged dual shock 3 six axis controller . all other games work either natively or via touch profile . when i try to play nba 2k13 it does what i described in a previous post .

Try the sixaxis guide in my signature. Its geared toward a ATT SGS3 but just use the nexus 7 name instead of the sgs3 and you should be good to go.

thank you but it seems that guide is how to connect the controller as u will see in all of my posts i state i have the controller connected and working with every other game i tried either natively or with a sixaxis touch control profile for it (5th time ive typed this) i appreciatte all help just getting a lil frustrated ya know ...

aaah ok yeah i right clicked and saved and was able to download. will test it asap and post back, tho i was already sent a mapping made specifically for Nexus 7 confirmed to work . but isnt working for me . i will post my results with your mapping...

ok seems we almost have a winner.... the other map that was sent to me for N7 didnt work at all but this one you pointed me to works .... but only for the 1st 5 mins then it stops working then the game itself stops working. no other apps running oh and yes im rooted . lol.. and for good measure i un and re- paired the controller before i tried this map .... getting closer ... im determined to make this work ... thank you guys for all your help so far

thank you but that one doesnt work at all for me . i forgot to mention im using tablet ui . i believe the dpi is 213 not sure ... the only 1 seems to work is the one for the TF300 ? as it has similiar resolution and dpi and ui judging from the screen shots .... the game still freezes with that one... im going to use it as a base and tweak it more

Have you successfully used profiles for other games? Are you using the classic profile? Maybe try another mapped profile on another game and see if you have any luck. Reinstall six axis tool? Here's the main link to the transformer thread, again credit to op.

Will HTC incredible ever get a full Bluetooth stack ? I would like to use my s9 headset ( without glitching ) and my Wii controller ( plus video out plus Droid emulator equals .....awesome.) I have tried some other roms but so far no luck . Does anyone know of any development in this area ?

If I'm not mistaken AOSP roms can use the Wii mote and stuff so I am going to say if it might have a full stack but don't hold me to it

I must say I'm quite disappointed in this game. Even with hamdirs mod on the lowest setting I found 10 in game seconds is actually 22 real seconds, you can't tell me that's because of the device.

What do you mean? I'm saying the game is slow. It IS smooth, but overall slow, not really good for a racing game. And it seems its not just me. Upgrading to 4.2 has given a slight performance increase, but it's still in no way as fast as it should be. Ea has said they are working on it but (one really wonders what devices they tested on when everyone seems to have this problem =S)

It is the device. I have found that being overclocked causes this time warp deal. Use your preferred clocking app to set a profile so your cpu only goes to 1.3 ghz while that game is being played. Makes a huge difference.

ypu probably haven't changed the controls in game. You need to set it.to the on screen wheel I think

Yes but the HTC oneX is our chip at 1.5 and it has the same issues.
The mod that got made by hamdir was primarily made to address the issue you're talking about. The game was pulling up the 1.5ghz profile and running like ****.
But even with the game set to the 1.3 settings and the tablet or phone at 1.5 its still slow.
I'm really starting to think this is on purpose though. I flashed trinity and clocked it up to 1.7 GHz and 700mhz gpu and it was buttery smooth but still slow. Even with the mod at 1.3.
And ea seems to be doing their old trick of flat out ignoring everything =\

Change the control method to an onscreen steering wheel and it should work, tbh I find it easier to play via the tilt method as EA didn't think too hard about the controls :silly:

Ive also been wondering if non sony controllers will work but I dont think they will cause the sony dualshock ones use bluetooth built in to the controller and a lot of the cheap ones I've seen have their own usb reciever over a diff wireless frequency. like a usb you plug into the ps3 to make it wireless. Don't think those will work.
Just wanted to say that Dead Trigger (and some more games like GTA:VC) have native controller support and you don't have to edit the key mapping (but you can do it if you want to change something).
I have setups that fill well to Real Racing 3 and PewPew if anybody is interested.

sixasis controller problems!!
hey there, ive an into some problems with the sixasis app, ive done all the steps shown in the video and when i press start on the sixasis app it says "driver starting.." and stays like that. i paired the controller on the pc and tried to do it on the nexus 4 it said "no controller found please connect it via usb cable. any1 suggestions???
I'm Rooted Using the Latest Official CM10.2 Build on both My NN7 and my N4 and I can't Get Touch Profiles to Work on either of em I Bought the App, but regretting it at the moment, can someone confirm this issue, or maybe have a suggestion/workaround?

Confirmed Samsung galaxy s4 gsm/CDN. Cm10.2
I have been able to correct the X0 sq & tri by editing the ps3 controllers .kl file (changing those entries to match those in the cm10.1 .kl file).. However.. The L/R2 and touch events still do not register. I think the app dev needs to do some work and or get on the same page as CyanogenMod.
Confirmed either way.

I dont Have That Issue, in fact I Can Play most games on both my NN7 and N4 IE Respawneables Riptide GP2 etc, but like a "normal gamepad" the only issue i have is with touch profiles.
I actually managed to set up and play with touch profile Respawnables and Riptide, sometimes it does not work, and is not doing anything at all in Asphalt 8...
Weird. I have a touch profile for PPSSPP and it worked great. Hmmm...
