I was wondering if I'm the only one having this problem using the HTC Music app. For reference, I'm using maXimus v12.0.
The problem is that using HTC Music app, I don't see the full names of Artists/Albums/Songs and it seems the app has some issues with some characters. For instance, "AC/DC" appears as "AC", "Clint Mansell & Kronos Quartet" appears as "Clint Mansell", "Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Yves V & Angger Dimas" appears as "Dimitri Vegas", etc...
This only seems to happen with HTC Music app, I also tried Google Music and it displayed all names correctly.
Can anyone confirm that it also happens for you or maybe it doesn't happen? If so, let me know please and, which ROM version are you using...
Anyone?
I believe it had problems with the symbol /.
I had a playlist named r&b / rap, it didn't sync that one well. After I've changed the name to r&b - rap, it did sync well.

The license of the RUU allows you to run it on your phone, its android and its is open source. anyone can download it and change it and post it as their work.
An app (unless stated) is not open source. you cannot use any part if it in your own work without permission from the author.

HI, everyone,
I decided to open this thread because I think that there is this application that most of us love to have on our smartphones: is the gps program call IGO My way. Myself, as many others, wouldn't buy a phone without gps capabilities and would not carry one without a reliable gps program that won't primarily rely on Internet/data connection as <<google maps>>.
The issue I am encountering here, is that the iGO 8 I used to have on my Galaxy SII has a resolution problem when I installed it on my new Galaxy SIII (half screen, icons very small, etc). When I had the HTC HD2 running on Windows Mobile, it was easy for me to correct that problem - just a "sys.txt" in which you would enter the desired resolution. But with Android is different...
Does anyone know how to fix the resolution of an older version of iGO, or did anyone manage to have a good copy of the latest iGO that works with Samsung Galaxy SIII and want to share?
Thank you.
This is your lucky day...lol...yes I have been using it on my s3 with full screen and perfect...the only thing is I can't get the tts voice to work properly to announce the streets names. Rather than that it's the best GPS I've always used on all my phones.
Attached is some photos ,one of them is showing the igo version that you should use......good luck.

ps: also when i had my HD2 as well.. i DL this thing called the susan loquendo pack that made the TTS work great
Yes it does have the 3d maps...I have that tts voice too but for some reason I still can't get it to work!

3D maps work for me too and TTS voice also work but only worked 99% the 1% keep saying (volume=100) before the street name
Ps. All you have to do is put TTS zip in voice folder. might need to reset the phone to make it work
Is this a pay app or something, because I don't see any apks attached.

You just need to Google it and you will find it somewhere and you should be able to download it, but you need to put it in internal memory. Sorry I forgot where I download it from, otherwise I would've gave you the link.

I had an extremely hard time finding any iGo Primo 2.0 that was active. I ended up finding iGO Primo 2.0 Android - Final Edition 2012 which had several apk versions and you're suppose to install the correct version for your phone and then change the sys text file to the one for your resolution.
I installed the 1280x720 apk and the 1280x720 sys text file but like I said, it gives me that error.
I just found an i9300 specific package, I'm installing it now (big file broken up into 7 or 8 zips, so it's taking a while).
just google my words and install no need to do anything to it

Hey I just got the HTC One X and I like privacy and security. I noticed a lot of apps request permissions and I read that they could be blocked. Could I just root the device and download something (and if so, what), or are there any ROMs that I can flash that will do this as well.
Thanks in advance!
I use LBE. Klick
"SRT: AppGuard" is great!

Just have in mind that if an app needs those permissions to run, it will crash, so you could just as well uninstall it and if the developer was stupid enough to ask for them without actually using those features, your privacy is not breached by the app, so it doesn't matter if you block them or not .
In other words, permission blockers are useless.

use Lbe security.. Search for it on xda. There is translated version of this chinese app and it also supporst JB.
In my view this is the best for blocking premissions and data usage.

actually there are many apps which have the permission to access your contacs, call records and other stuff even though they don't need it at all.
So having a lil privacy gives you a peace of mind

But those that don't crash after denying those permissions don't use them, so in fact they don't violate your privacy
IMHO permission blockers are as good as task managers in Android.

That's exactly my point. If an eBook reader wants permission to send SMS, then you'd probably not install it in the first place. If on the other hand an app that pays for your parking by sending SMS is denied access to the service then it will crash, so the permission blocker still needs your active interaction to configure which app has access to what resources. Use common sense when you install applications and you won't need permission blockers.

Works fine so far, but seems to be missing the HDR option.
Plus, Photosphere seems to be bugged, most of the panoramas i try to shoot come out pretty borked. I have the impression that it doesnt actually save more than 3 captured images... but maybe its just me.

Hey Galaxy S4 owners. Does your Official Facebook app look like this? I can't tell why my Facebook app (on my LG G2) and pretty much everyone else I know, looks different than my wife's S4 does. Just curious.

Its not the APK. Its a signal from the Facebook server. Its a new layout they are testing. I have a modded Facebook that i keep up with which helps prevents Facebook from getting all my personal information. (Which it does a lot) and this layout was brought up in that thread. Apparently there is a code change for the layout. I have not found it yet nor have I looked I read somewhere that Facebook will eventually make this the default layout. So I'm not really gonna waste the time to figure out how to change it.
