[Q] HTC One X in UK version have romanian language ? - HTC One X

I want to buy a HOX from United Kingdom. The network is O2. I would like to know if is Romanian language and if it's not branded.
Some pictures are welcome !

My branded tmobile UK doesn't have Romanian as system language. If you buy it from O2 will be branded as well.

This means that if you buy in England, can not he put a micro sim from Orange Romania? Will be locked on O2?
If you have some special programs branded?
You can put some pictures

It will be locked to o2, you need a sim free one x to do what you want. Plenty of sites sell them.

I understand that if you get in the UK, I can not use here in Romania?

You cannot use an O2 branded phone with Orange SIM-card. If you find an unbranded phone in UK, then you can use it in Romania.
If you want an unbranded UK phone, I ordered mine from expansys.

Can't he just buy a SIM unlock code on the internet?

This metod is ok ?

Create a while list of phone numbers?

Is it possible to restrict the phone numbers the phone can call?
I want to restrict calling to certain list of approved phone numbers. Is this possible?
Should be possible with any phone and carrier, as long as you know your sim's PIN2 code. You should be able to enable it in Settings > Call > Fixed Dialing Numbers.
Good luck finding your SIM PIN 2 though. The default for T-Mobile is supposedly 5678, but I have found that it is hit or miss whether T-Mobile SIMs actually have the default values.
I can't speak for US users, but in Romania every SIM comes with its own set of PIN, PIN2, PUK, PUK2.
So I'm SOL with a Bell Desire Z?
If you can't find the PIN2 on the SIM card (the large, credit card-sized one), call Bell and they should be able to provide you with one.
Maybe I'm just missing it, but on the European ROM I can't see anything under Call->Settings for fixed dialling numbers.

Build 1.34.405.5, CID HTC__032 (WWE, not branded)
Thanks. That's odd though, because I'm on that same ROM version and I don't see those options. I can only guess that it must be carrier/SIMcard-specific ?

Help!!!! Please!

So, I just bought a galaxy nexus UK international unlocked version. It has 5 pins on the sim reader and only reads Simple Mobile sims, doesnt read Straight Talk, AT&T and T-Mobile. When the seller called the Play Store, they claimed the nexus only has 5 pins. Could you please post pics of your sim slots? Thanks
I am the seller and got two different answers. The first person I spoke to said it only had 5 and said they would send a user manual that showed that. When I didn't receive the manual, I called back. The second person I spoke to said he would take a picture and send it to me. Here it is.

Your phone should read every sim card you have.

Bought mine from an importer, a Canadian version technically. It has the same pin layout as the picture above.

Considering that SIM connections/slots are standard and the European unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus are identical to the Google Play Galaxy Nexus in terms of hardware there should be no reason why they shouldn't read the same SIMs.

Any D820/821 sort of thing with the new Nexus 5X?

I was wondering because last time I ordered the N5 I got the D820 (from the US) and it doesn't work with LTE bands in my country. Now, I ordered my phone from the UK. Are there any models for this phone like there was D820 and D821? Or is it like a general model that works with everything, everywhere?

Looking at the specs page, it does state two different versions: international and US. It may be just one model with different radios or two models. It isn't clear
H790 is US and H791 is international
Taken from the FCC filings
@Bei60 can I ask you which is your country/opetator?
I live in Italy and I've read here D820 should work as the D821(that I own), I read the H790/1 bands specs, but I don't know how to know what band(s) my (and the other national) uses.
I have the opportunity to buy a cheaper us device, but I don't want to risk connectivity/speed problems...

Those Bands are what HTC has on each phone. If you buy one of those Models those are the bands you will get.
Yes people have changed the bands on their phones, but GSM models as far as I've seen are just temporary. So If you bought a GSM model you will get the bands that HTC enabled. CDMA models apparently keep the bands people picked after a reset so if you buy a Verizon or Sprint model off someone on XDA, Swappa etc you have a low chance of getting one with tempered bands.
At the end of the day those are the bands each phone will have. However it never hurts to ask questions if getting a phone from someone who has been on XDA.
