International roaming possible while in the same country?

So in Deck's rom there is an option to enable international roaming. I left it disabled but my mobile network went offline while in a certain area and I got a message to enable international roaming. So I enabled it and the internet was back. I was wondering can I be roaming internationally while in the same country as your plan is in?

How can I tell if I'm on lte

I'm in New York City and used to get 4g service. How do I know if I'm getting lte
Service? Is there an indicator? Thanks

you had wimax 4G. And yes if you have the setting to connect to LTE turned on, you'd see it say 4G instead of 3G, if you have LTE service.

Unlocked T-Mobile GS3 on AT&T?

If I buy an unlocked s3 for t-mobile from my friend, will it work on AT&T's network? And will I get LTE? With or without modifying the modem?

U will get 4g since tmobile is rolling out their 1900mhz

I always thought it did have the LTE radio it just wasnt compatible with T-Mobile

No. The T-Mobile S3 does not have an LTE radio.

Could the phone work with Bell?

I have a galaxy s3 with videotron and im trying to sell it but the guy has a contract with Bell can i unlock it and how?
My s3 is rooted and has cm10 flashed.

I believe the unlock thread is in the General section.
Check what frequencies both carriers use, and if they match up it should work.

Bell uses different frequencies than videotron. I think voice will work, but not data.
