Wifi broken - HTC One V

So i have the htc one v cdma and ive had it for abour 3 months.
My friend finally got me to unlock bootloader and flash a rom.
My first one was x3reme sense and thats when it happened. My wifi will say turning on and it was just stay like that then get an error. I have flash others and nothing fixes it.
My question is what should i do?
Any kernals that might fix this? (ive tried one with no luck[Hellboy])
Thanks in advance

Each ROMs specify which kernel/boot.img that you need to flash.
Hellboy is only for GSM (AFAIK)
And you need to flash the boot.img manually thru fastboot command
fastboot flash boot bootOrWhatEverName.img
For x3reme Sense as said on OP, you need to extract the boot.img from its ROM.zip
and fastboot flash that.

[Q] Desire HD stuck at HTC logo

Hi there!
I have a DHD, but while rooting i had this problem. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed cwm recovery, but after flashing leedroid, the phone stucks at the HTC logo.
I need help. Is there a way to revert to a stock rom? I have tried official Ruu, but it says error 155, even in fastboot mode.
Or, can you suggest me a WORKING custom rom (with tutorial), because leedroid wont boot up.
That's not the problem of the rom u flashed, I guess u have flashed a corrupted file download the file again or may be its the problem with the hboot,
I have downloaded leedroid from the official site, i did a full wipe, flashed the rom and then patched it. And it stucks
Habe u checked the MD5 file?

haven't. What does it used for?
MD5s are used for verifying a correct download. When downloading, files can be corrupted. Every change in the file make it get another MD5.
You find the correct MD5s at the downloadlinks of most roms and check them by using tools like "MD5 Check". This tool is small and you can find it easily via google.
When I am trying to install the official ruu, it starts, but the I get a message, about error 140. I fogured out that it means i am trying to install an older ruu.
My device says I am on 3.13.0.0. My question is, where can i find this rom?
You wont be able to flash official rom without booting your phone. Try to flash any other custom rom first I hope it will boot if you have done all the root process successfully.
It gets stuck because you flashed the rom incorrectly. First you should have NOT unlocked your boot loader through HTC dev.the hack kit is the onlyway to go.
2) to flash a rom on a device that has been unlocked needs an extra step. Flashing the boot.img. so take the boot.img of what ever you want(this case leedroid). Place it in your fast boot folder. The run this command
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Fastboot reboot
You will have to do this for every from you flash, or you'll get stuck. 4ext recovery has a option to do this step for you and make it feel like the regular way flashing roms

Please point me to the correct rom for HTC CID__621

Hi,
I have cyanogenmod alpha 11 on my One X right now.
I need to get this back to stock in order to sell it.
I can not do this. I've failed. I would like someone to eliminate one variable from the equation, which is, which ROM is compatible with my CID?
I believe that it is a TWM based rom, but I just am frankly unsure if I'm downloading the right one, and therefore all of my problems.

RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TWM_TW_1.26.921.3_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251851_signed
Are these correct?
I am failing at the point of flashing system.img, which appears to be 1 gb in size. And it's giving me a remote 000000006 error. I can not see what else I am doing wrong here.

Fastboot flash boot boot.img

Skiping system.img
Fastboot oem lock

HTC one X wont boot, wierd !

Hey all,
I have an HTC one X.
The Case, phoen wont boot to any screen except for, bootloader on recovery mode (including TWRP and CWM).
I have followed the instructions regarding the usage on HTC one X all in one tool, phone is rooted ( pic1.)
Afterwards, ive flashed, wiped formatted system, and then Flashed Stock ROM.
Phone is not booting farther than the CWM screen (pic2).
Any suggestion would be gladly accepted.
RUU?

Im on to it ...
did you flashed the boot.img from rom via fastboot? such things you should not forget...otherwise it wouldn't work so just try another rom wipe system, data, dalvik cache and cache in recovery flash the rom of your choice and in fastboot you have to flash the boot.img which is in the rom zip .with fastboot flash boot boot.img....then fastboot erase cache and fastboot reboot so that the phone reboots...then setup your phone and it's done
If you're running stock kernel you have to flash the original kernel and re-lock the phone, easiest way is using RUU (still have to relock your phone though)
Also, How is this a "development" for android?!!!
This should have been posted in Q&A section
guessing this will be removed soon.

Thanks for putting your minds to it guys,
Thats the deal.
Rooted HTC oneX
1. While booting, goes straight to bootloader or into recovery...
2. I do the wipe, Dalvik and all of the other necessary
3. Flashed stock ROM, flashed any other possible ROM... reboot, and it goes back yo the bootloader menu.
Then, just to be clear.
Using the All in one HTC one X.
Re-Lock the phone
Went all the way from beginning.
1. Get token ID, Submit token ID, Unlock bootloader ( done, worked)
2. done the Wipe and re-flashed ROM... same result as before...
3. tried the RUU... nothing
4. i took out the boot.img out of the stock ROM and ran the and did a Kernel flash....
and now i have a pretty logo screen
Ha !! ive got it Runnin ! loaded Stock ROM !!
Thanks for all the Help!!

[Q] unable to enter recovery

Hi all
generally i dont post to forums because usually searching around can find the answer i need and not waste anyones time. but on this, i really am stumped. ive gone through the process of rooting/unlocking/etc a bunch of different android phones and never had a problem like this before.
so i unlocked the bootloader/s-off/rooted all through rumrunner today. everything went fine, says *unlocked* and s-off in hboot. ran rootchecker and that is working fine.
tried flashing CWM - both through fastboot and the Rom Manager app. both would boot to white HTC logo screen with "Entering Recovery..." in pink on the top, sit there for a few seconds, and then reset and boot into normal os.
so i decided to use TWRP (never really used it much). tried it through fastboot and GooManager. well, same thing happens here.
have tried flashing both, as well as stock, a half dozen times each at least. made sure i had the correct versions of the .img files, fastboot erase cache 25+ times. nothing can get me into recovery.
currently flashed back to stock recovery to run OTA updates. the .15 one and the upgrade to 4.3.
please, any and all suggestions welcome!
Are you sure you are using the Verizon versions of the recoveries? There are several versions of both for the One.

CWM

See if you can fastboot flash an insecure Boot.img from my stock rom and radio thread.
If you are on the 1.10.605.15 software, grab the appropriate one that matches.
You will have to take the Boot.img out of the zip file.
Then place it in your fastboot/adb directory.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
If that succeeds, then try flashing a Recovery again and see if it will load.
Not really sure that's the issue or why you are having that problem.
Seems to me, fastboot erase cache, and fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img should be enough.

Seems to have fixed it for now. Thank you! Now just waiting for kit Kat version of nusense

[Q] On each boot, I have to reflash the boot.img. This is growing to be a major pain.

Like I said, every time my device boots up I have to reflash the boot.img. I want to fix this so I can gain S-OFF. Is there any particular cause to this? (i.e. boot partition damaged)
I think you are tipping:
fastboot boot boot.img and you are missing "flash"
You need to tipe :
fastboot flash boot boot.img
This happened to me when I was new flashing roms.

Thank you so much! I wouldn't have even thought of that. It fixed it for me.
