Hey everyone!
I noticed that the International variant of the Galaxy SIII has a ParanoidAndroid 2.99 port. I am currently working on one for our device. I am still rather new at this whole process, and am currently stuck. I have managed to get the ROM to boot up, but only to the boot animation. I was wondering if anyone has any advice that may help me get the device to boot fully. If you are interested in helping me in this venture, please PM me. I am at school most of the day, but try to check my PMs often.
I was using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598713
and I recently found this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1717079
I was just wondering if there was anything I am missing. Just trying to give everyone a taste of what PA 2.99 tastes like while we wait on PA 3.+
Thanks,
TekGadgt

I'm making a flash-able cm7 Rom/Mod of Windows Phone 7 called (Inc.Se7en). Now I would like to see if anybody is interested in this or not. If you are please let me know!
I would also like to see if anyone if a background of developing could possibly help me I'am after all doing this alone and as of now Google is my best bud lol
If you would like to flash this and see what work Ive done let me know
This is based off CM7 Stable 7.0.3 and is flash-able in CWM 3.0.0.8
THIS IS SO FAR FROM BEING A COMPLETE FINSIHED ROM I JUST STARTED AND WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE WANTED TO HELP/TEST
If I'm breaking any XDA RULES please delete this thread or let me know please this is the first of many I HOPE
THANK YOU DEV'S at CM7 and others for letting android be well android
THIS IS FAR FROM BEING A FULLY COMPILED ROM SO PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT
say what? I don't get it.
Hi everyone,
I just bought an i927, and I'm really looking forward to installing some custom ROMs. Above all, I'd love to see a MIUI rom for this device. MIUI is hands down my favorite Android flavor. What do you think about these instructions for creating a "MIUI PatchROM"?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483332It looks to me like it should be possible to MIUI-ify an existing stable ROM for the i927 with this method. What do you think?
Thanks, cheers.
interesting if you will to do this I would recommend you use the "[07.06.12]Osimood v2.06.07" ROM as that one is based off of 2.35 and has all bloat removed. Will make for a good starting point for you. you can find it at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462298 good luck and I hope you get it working MIUI is a nice looking ROM

That would be interesting, but it's dated february and based on GB.
I think we should consider basing it on ICS: CM9 is coming, it should be easier (assuming CM9 works well).
Hmm, I was also wondering if those instructions would work for ICS too. I know that MIUI is currently running with the ICS base on other devices.
As for me, I doubt I have the skills to pull this off.
Is this still stands? It would be really cool to have MIUI v4 on the glide!
Someone recently mentioned wanting to give it a try in the CM10 topic, so it seems it's on!

Unfortunately I think I'm too dumb to follow those sketchy instructions that I linked to, which assume a huge amount of knowledge of the Android base system and its frameworks. But, for those who have already created ROMs for the i927 or even other devices, I suspect it would be relatively easy.
I though I'd look into trying this! I'll need some help from some willing dev' s and Linux gurus!
So far I have followed the instructions from get hub, synced the patchrom. Following the command to adb pull "stockrom.zip" from my glide is getting errors and won't make the zip.
I'm currently running the new UCLJ3 ics update that is rooted, deodexed, and zipaligned, with litekernel v1.1. I'll have to redo the adb pull to get the error, can't remember what it was. It was at the end when it was about to make the zip.
If anyone is willing to help, I'll post the exact error later tonight after work!

Hey guys, I love having AOSP roms on my phone and i recently came across dirty unicorn rom. I saw some videos of it and seems like a good rom. But it is available only for sprint note 2. Hey guys, @brymaster5000 and I have been trying to get Sense 5.0 to boot on our good ol' Droid Incredible 2. So far, he has taken @szezso's kernel source for the Incredible S, and edited to work for our device. However, whenever we tried to get it to boot, the phone never went past the HTC splash screen. That's why we need help, if anyone has experience porting Sense, we need your help. Right now there is NO ETA. We're thinking that the problem is the ramdisk right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Here's brymaster's kernel https://www.dropbox.com/s/r4l3cqenx3hcfbf/Inc2Sense5boot.zip
Right now we don't have a rom because nothing has worked so far.
Working so far
-Nothing, except maybe the ion kernel
Needs work
-Everything, we need it to boot

Hey Folks,
First timer here. I'm a refugee from the cyanogenmod boards. I'm a novice at this but did manage to root and install twrp and use the cm nightlies for a couple of years. I own the S3 t999 and have been using d2tmo on Metropcs (NYC) ever since cm10. I know the d2tmo is the tmobile but it has always worked for metro pcs.
Anyway, sometime in mid December, I foolishly updated to cm14.1 from 13.0-20161118-nightly-d2tmo without realizing I was actually upgrading the android version. As you can imagine, without upgrading the gapps, my phone went bonkers. I was barely able to get it back to working order. It has not been the same since and as others have noted, all the cm13 nightlies for d2tmo from cyanogenmod are no longer there and obviously there will be no more further improvements of cm14 . Those last nightlies are too buggy for me, even with the correct gapps.
So my question is, what are my options now ? Are there alternate projects that work like the cm builds ?
So SlimRoms has some builds. Would these work like the CM builds? Would I just install it from twrp , does it matter that I'm going from a CMbuild to a SlimRom ?
I'm looking for something that will continue to improve, easy to update.
Thank you any feedback, sorry I could not post links

Thank you very much anil2653. Very much appreciated.
I'd still like some options moving forward tho, if anyone can speak as to what they would be, that would be great .
