i dont think this is possible as 2 phone is using different hardware.
if is possible ported, you might ruin your S2 because both using different hardware.

It changed quite a lot from SGS to SGS II. I found the SGS II one to be quite good, probably taking a second place behind the ICS one.

Dude, LI12 it's a JB ROM.
The new gallery came from a new 4.0.4 ICS Rom for GN.
So if you use any ICS this gallery works cuz it uses the same framework of ICS for SIII.

It works awesome on ics.. just flash it.. you can even make new albums ...rename albums ... multitask view of albums.. now this is cooool... can also be catogorized by time..location..etc...

I like the swipe left to view your gallery also i like the panorama mode on the stock app more than touchwiz.

Doubtful...considering the technology are way dif and ahead. 13mp vs. 8mp and the hardware are completely dif. It may work w the s3 but will run into a whole lot of issue.

It is a software. It will be possible if a dev decides to take on the challenge. I thought G3 and G2 have similar cameras....Im sure it is do-able!

I love the features of the GS4 like Drama Shot, Dual Shot etc.. But couldn't buy the GS4... So could someone put up a port of the GS4 camera??? (Btw I have a Grand running on 4.2.2 official update n i have the root access)

Its highly impossible that the Grand gets an update to android 4.4 Kitkat...
Coming back to the tpoic, until we get a GS4 camera port, has anyone tried the Focal camera app from ex CM team? I hear its great and available for 4.1+ too!
