first
I download
place in fastboot folder
then I rename 3.14.111.27 downloaded .zip package to firmware.zip
and then I use this command
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
it's all OK
change HBOOT 1.24 to 1.36
But
My phone is always in bootloader mode
can't go to OS, CWM, factory restart,
lose SD Card
Now in bootloader mode show
Battery level is too low to flash
I can't do nothing
I power down it
So please tell me how to do it and who can help me
please show the way to me how must I go back 4.0.4
really thanks you all

OK in this my condition, can be s-off?
if yet how must I do?
please let me know

You can't S-Off

you just need to unlock your bootloader and it'll work

AFAIK the phone charges even when it is switched off
and you are at least in bootloader - you can install a recovery such as CWM or TWRP (TWRP recommended)

He can't do anything !!! Batt is to low !!! He needs to run the script from this thread to slowly charge the batt up to a level that is high enough to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery. From the custom recovery he can charge it full and start flashing roms

I'll try it:good:

S off means security off. Htc has stopped it from happening for security. But people with super cids, like 111111 have soff. These are dev phones. U can only unlock bootloafer. Install custom recovery and flash kernels or bpot.img from pc. With soff. U can do so from phone itself

now my phone is full charge. it's I think
So please show the way to me

Unlock the bootloader, if you still have the unlock.bin file you can copy it to your fastboot folder and flash it (otherwise you have to unlock it with the htcdev site)
Fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
Then flash a custom recovery
http://db.tt/Krlm4dPs
Rename it to recovery.img and flash it
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Now download a custom rom you like and mount the sdcard as a usb disk in the recovery and copy the rom.zip over to it. Then open the rom.zip and copy the boot.img to the fastboot folder on the pc and flash it
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot flash boot boot img
Then enter the recovery and do a full wipe
Then install the rom : install zip from sdcard and continue the steps you see !
Note : flashing recovery and boot.img have to be done with the phone in fastboot usb mode
Should do it

Dear Sir
I can install CWM
but big problem is my phone unknown SD Card
so
how must I put ViperX3.2.0.zip file to Phone's SD card????
I already test
db push rom.zip /sdcard/ .... can't
fastboot oem rebootRUU ...... can't
fastboot flash zip ViperX3.2.0.zip ...... can't
please let me know Sir

It should be possible to mount the sdcard as an usb drive inside the recovery, look under the tab
Mounts & storage
and check the option at the bottom of the list. If that doesn't work you can try to flash this recovery and try in there
http://db.tt/aYgw4fuh
Note : the boot.img file has to be flashed from fastboot usb mode like the recovery and the viper rom.zip has to be flashed from the recovery !
With the option install zip from sd card

Same Problem
hi i have the same problem, im on hboot 1.36 and wanted to know if it worked out for you and when you reboot your phone in the htc white screen does it show a red text under it that say something about that this build is for development purposes??

HTC one x stock in bootloop

First of all I did some research on Xda regarding my issue, the issue is my phone keeps on bootlooping it did this first time during the night while the phone was sleeping and then it did it today while I was on Xda developer it just froze. I don't know anything about if my bootloader is locked but it isn't rooted with s-on and fully stock. I can go to the recovery using power and vol down, but it doesn't have any affect I tried erasing the data but it just goes back in to a bootloop. I have been reading this threat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020931
"Relock your bootloader using the commend 'fastboot oem lock'.
Go into fastboot mode and type 'fastboot oem rebootRUU'.
Flash the new firmware using the commend 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'.
On first time running the commend you will see FAILED, don't panic and just run the commend again.
Reunlock your bootloader via HTCDev.
Flash custom recovery using the commend 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img'.
Download boot.img and flash it using the commend ‘fastboot flash boot boot.img’.
Use the commend 'fastboot erase cache' to avoid boot issues.
Go into recovery and install the ROM.
Reboot your device and enjoy from JB!"
I have some questions regarding this threat one of the members mentioned some steps like locking the bootloader then unlocking it. I have visited the HTC dev website and I'm finding it hard to figure how to use command prop. If I save the files to the c drive how do I locate it using cammand prop C:// (is this right?). If I connect my phone to the computer and I download the content that the member had mentioned (boot img and new firmware) where do I place these files, on the root of the sd on the phone? I can't possibly do that because after jb hox it cannot go to usb mount without root. I have two hox's one updated fine and is stock the other has been behaving funny. The phone did go into a bootloop previously but after the battery died I tired the phone on and it was working fine till one day later. The first issue I had was it was stuck on HTC boot screen then I turned it of and now it's stuck in bootloop. The only thing that I can figure out is keep it in recovery and allow the battery to die recharge it and factory reset it if it boots successfully.
Any help will be very appriciated

I just turned the phone on after I drained the battery leaving it on recovery mode and it has successfully booted but it did this before after the battery died when it went into its first bootloop during two nights ago. I know that this is only a temporary fix I feel there is something wrong with the battery or something related to that although it had more than 30% when I upgraded to jb although it was charging while updating.
Edit: I just put the phone into recovery and selected recovery it went to a screen with a phone and a bar underneath and then it rebooted asking me to go through the beginner tutorial. I don't know if the issue has been fixed yet.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Don't know for sure, but don't go unlocking the bootloader and flashing stuff. The bootloader is LOCKED. you have full warranty with that
Is the jb ruu available so I can re flash it, also can I not clear the cache using command prop what are my options? I'd the jb ruu os not avalible if I flash the ics ruu can I still recieve the ota of jb.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
No you cant flash the ics ruu because we can not downgrade the hboot. Give me your main version and see if i can hook you up with a ruu !
Fastboot getvar version-main
You tried a factory reset from the bootloader menu ?
And you can enter the recovery when you see that phone with the bar, just press volume down and power button. You see the phone with the bar because its the stock recovery
How do find out the main version? Yes I will try to factory reset through recovery.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
You put the phone in the bootloader and press hboot one time , it should say
Fastboot usb in red text
Then open a command prompt inside the fastboot folder and type
Fastboot getvar version-main
I went to recovery and connected a usb to the phone I clicked fastboot and above the hboot the fastboot usb was highlighted in red I clicked hboot and it went back to the main menu so I did it again without clicking hboot ans I opened command prop and it said C> so I typed fastboot getvar version-main it said fastboot wa not recognised I think I didn't type it properly can you help me.
The phone is now booting up but it keeps on saying sense crash then it freezes. It doesn't bootloop any more it just messes up.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Install these drivers
http://db.tt/gXVxa3Dp
Put these files in a folder where you can find them, open a command there and perform it again.
And leave the screen on in the bootloader where it says fastboot usb !
http://db.tt/ldx3qOOU
Ok so i had the same issue when i first tried to flash the new firmware on my htc one x
i was in bootloop for hours and didnt know what was going on
what fixed it for me was flashing the boot.img from the rom i had downloaded
try flashing the boot.img included in your rom it should be in the .zip file of the rom
after that i didnt experience any bootloops
Edit: i see you have problems with fastboot you first need to change to the directory where the fastboot files are stored
so you need to use the command cd to change to the directory(folder) of the fastboot files
for example my command would be cd C:\Users\Nimbs\Desktop\HTC ONE X fastboot folder

You clearly did not read ! He is already on the 1.39 hboot he does NOT have to flash a firmware, the bootloader is LOCKED so he has warranty ! The phone is 100% STOCK !!! He only wants to run a RUU to check if the problems are going away ! And the only option is a RUU because unlocking the bootloader in this case will void the warranty he still has ! .........
And please don't flash just the firmware, its actually non official released stuff !!!
And you also did not read my post, you are giving incorrect advice and posting the same info i already did. Please read the next time
I charged the phone then I connected it to the computer placed in recovery with it saying fastboot usb in red. I placed the four Dropbox files in my documents in a file called HTC driver. Then I opened command prop and it said C> then I typed /My documents/htc driver folder/fastboot getvar version-main and then I selected enter and it said my isn't recognised so I then placed user before it and it said user isn't rocognised so then I placed the user name and it said xyz not recognised. I don't know how to locate the files using command prop I placed all the files I downloaded in one file. I can't seem to understand how to use the directory sorry for being such a beginner at this I'm just not used to this. The last time I messed with a ruu and custom roms was when I had htc desire hd.

Put the files in a new FOLDER , not in a FILE ....
navigate to that folder in windows and press shift and right click inside that folder ....then you execute the command on the doscommand window that you just opened
Sorry for the mistype I placed it in a folder. So basically I open command then using windows explorer I press shift and right click to exacute the command okay.

No you use the windows explorer to navigate to the folder then you do the shift + right click and then you type the command in the dos window
First of all I cannot run command the through shift+right click. I did download a add on from Microsoft that allows this functionality but thier was a issue. The only way I can locate the file is through command prop but it almost seems impossible to use. I don't know what to do I think I'm out of luck, all I can do is throw it back at htcs face for replacement. I tried to learn how to use command prop and but I haven't succeeded.

Assuming you are an HTC Desire HD or Inspire 4G user, are S-On, have an unlocked bootloader, and are stuck on the boot splash after flashing a ROM, you need to fastboot flash the ROM zip's boot.img as follows.
1. Get the boot.img: unzip the ROM zip on your PC and navigate into the folder from the file manager. You should see a boot.img file. Open a terminal there (in Windows, shift-rightclick in the folder; if using Linux or Mac, I expect you to know how to do this).
2. Put your phone in fastboot mode: connect your phone to the computer, reboot into hboot by holding power + volume-down, navigate to "fastboot" with the volume buttons, and select it with the power button.
3. Fastboot flash the boot.img: from the command window,
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Reboot.
Note: you will need to do this each time you flash a ROM, but not each time you restore a nandroid.

I don't use this phone anymore, but look around the Development forums. The most active ROM threads float to the top. The OPs will give you a good idea of what each ROM is like.

If you unlocked your bootloader you are S-On. Make sure by rebooting into the bootloader (hold power and volume-down). Read my signature for the boot.img thing.

you don't need a pc to flash a rom, you just need it to transfer the rom itself on the sdcard... go into recovery, mount usb and that's it...it should work

Good, you might want to consider updating your hboot. That might solve some issues. The 1.28 contains some bugs.
It may have also something to do with jellybean because they removed usb mass storage in there. Only mtp is available.
The latest custom JB roms (at least some) are supporting usb mass storage again

You can obtain your 1.39 hboot firmware update here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
Its the first one in the OP.
Put the file in the fastboot folder and rename it to firmware.zip
Then put the phone in the bootloader and relock it
Fastboot oem lock
Then flash the firmware with these commands
Fastboot oem rebootRUU (watch the capitals, this command will reboot into a black screen with a silver HTC logo)
At that point you flash the firmware
Fastboot flash zip firmware zip (if it fails the first time, don't worry....just repeat the command until it says oke)
Then unlock the bootloader, reflash the custom recovery and install a brand new JB rom of your choice !

Is it you screen that not responding?
- If you turn off your phone and do VolDown+Power, to get in bootloader
- plug your phone in pc
- open a window cmd where you have the fastboot.exe and the recovery.img of CWM
- and type : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Well I'm not an expert, but with CWM recovery you wont be able to restore 4ext backups.
Or maybe just restart, remove battery, re flash the 4ext recovery (from the link on my first post) first to see if the touch will come back.

true that , if you can get non- touch 4ext recovery it will be better.
Maybe move the ribbon cable on the phone to see if the touch is getting working back.
Have you rooted your phone by yourself?
* I meant fastboost.exe, not adb.exe
1. Download sdk and install : http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html?hl=sk
2. Found the folder where fastboot.exe is and copy the recovery.img from the recovery of your choice. Lets try the 4ext first if it fixes the problem
3. Boot your device in bootloader : VolDown+power. you must be in ''fastboot usb'' notice in red. Usb connected of course
4. In the folder where the fastboot.exe is , shift+right click, choose ''open a commend window here''
5. type : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
after i go into "fastboot", and search device via "Fastboot device"...its not showing my device what can i do now?
i think its need USB Debugger, so how to enable it now?
OK, can anyone tell me how to survive from this?
i installed AOSB on it before the cracking, and when i setup, its crashing like this "unfortunately setup wizard has stopped."....!!
how to bypass this error
how to flash rom from bootloader ?
if your device doesn't see wit the command fastboot device ,you must verify that the fastboot driver (htc bootloader) is corectly installed

mmm, if I do remember, it won't detect your device with '' fastboot devices'', can you just type : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ?
and then you should have something like : sending 'recovery' (5602 KB)... ......
usb debuggin is when you device is running the rom and you want to use adb or other stuff through the usb cable
if fastboot device doesn't work fastboot flash also.
i know i can't uses fastboot with my phone becauses i'm running windows 8.1 and the driver isn't compatible
See the fastboot guide in the thread I linked you, it will explain how to get it up an running again

You should be installing asob v129, v130 isn't working for us. By the way, you don't necessarily need fastboot to flash a recovery.
thanks to all all are great friends...thanks
tell me just one thing, how can i flash a recovery or rom without entering on recovery? and is it possible to flash that from bootloader only?
i'm using Windows 8.1...so do i need to install windows 7 on my pc to get install the driver for fastboot?
Win 8.1 has issues with the fastboot drivers, maybe dual boot a Linux distro or run a live CD
Actually, if you have an external card reader or a way to transfer a file to your SD card I'll just make a .zip for you that should fix your issue, let me know as I'm almost down with my paper I can just whip it up real quick

put this on the root of your sd card (so not in any folders)
then boot into bootloader
except yes on your phone
it will flash a non touch version of 4ext recovery
(you will need to remove it from your sd card or it will always try to update)
boot to recovery
flash rom or restore backup
done
thanks bro...!!! sooo much..
i'll report u soon...

I Can't flash RUU (Because I can't access to the download mode)
I Can't access to the recovery.
It is stuck in this white screen.
*I tried installing the TWRP (Sucess!) , Installing boot.img (from Bad boyz ROM) (Success) but the error is still there, I can't access to the recovery neither.
It has S-OFF
It has unlock bootloader.
Any solution please?

Do you have the android sdk installed on a PC? if so you can boot directly into the the ruu download mode without actually having to reboot into download mode.
From the bootloader screen connect your pc with usb c cable
navigate to where your sdk/platform tools hold shift and right click and choose open command prompt here
type in the command
fastboot oem rebootRUU

The thing is, the phone doesn't charge. So I tried to Run the RUU but it showed "battery below 30%" , I need at least the phone charge, But I don't know how.
you can also flash recovery from fastboot oem rebootRUU if you have a copy of twrp place it in the same folder as the platform tools and execute the command
fastboot flash recovery <nameoftherecovery>.img
then
fastboot reboot recovery
it should charge in recovery

Also head over to omj'S thread and down the firmware in the zip file and put that on your sdcard if you have one. It should give you the option to install from the sdcard

I really appreciate your effort and your help for this issue.
I can't access to the download mode and recovery mode neither. It always stucks on the HTC logo, I only have access to the Bootloader mode (The White Screen) that's the problem. When I tried to enter to download more or Recovery mode, it stucks in the HTC Logo :/

I had a very similar problem as OP and I was able to get my HTC 10 (unlocked NA edition) to take an RUU after following this suggestion. Specifically I got the decrypt tool here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/tool-universal-htc-ruu-rom-decryption-t3382928
